Claims (7)
1. Förfarande för avlägsning av kvicksilver frin svaveldioxid-haltiga gaser och fuktiga gaser genom avkylning och tvättning av de heta gaserna med en koncentrerad svavelsyralösning för sulfatisering och avskiljning av kvicksilver fran gaserna, .k ä n-netecknat av att de svaveldioxidhaltiga heta och fuktiga gaserna avkyles genom att föränga i gaserna sä mycket vatten eller utspädd svavelsyralösning, att gasens temperatur sjunker under dess daggpunkt för istadkcnrnande av en svavelsyradimma som sulfatiserar och tvättar kvicksilvret.
2. Förfarande enligt krav 1, kännetecknat av att slt mycket vatten eller utspädd svavelsyralösning förängas för avkylning av de svaveldioxidhaltiga heta och fuktiga gaserna, att gasens temperatur sjunker tili 160-220°C.
3. Förfarande enligt krav 1 eller 2, kännetecknat av att vatten eller en utspädd svavelsyralösning inmatas i de svaveldioxidhaltiga heta och fuktiga gaserna som finfördelad dimma, i vilken droppstorleken är huvudsakligen under 200 ^um, fördelaktigt under 100 ^um.
4. Förfarande enligt nigot av de föregiende kraven, kännetecknat av att en 5-50 %:ig, fördelaktigt 20-50 %:ig svavelsyralösning inmatas i de-svaveldioxidhaltiga heta ftiktiga gaserna.
5. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregiende kraven, kännetecknat av att den svavelsyradimmiga gasen bringas att strömma genom en ytkenstruktion fuktad med svavelsyralösning för avskiljning av svavelsyradimmdroppar frän gasen. 1 Anordning för avlägsning av kvicksilver frän heta, fuktiga svaveldioxidhaltiga gaser innan dessa införs i ett tvättorn (21) av svavelsyrafabriken, vilken anordning omfattar ett organ för avkylning och tvättning av de heta och fuktiga gaserna med den kon-oentrerada svavelsyralösningen,k ännetecknad av att nämnda organ bestir av munstyeken (21) anordnade i ett rör (23) för inmat-ning av de heta och fuktiga svaveldioxidhaltiga gaserna i tvättornet (21) av svavelsyrafabriken för insprutning i inmatningsröret av vatten och en del av den fran fast material befriade tvättsyran erhillen
