CONSISTE EN PONER EN CONTACTO LAS PERLAS DE VIDRIO CON UNA SOLUCION DE POR LO MENOS UN AGENTE DE REVESTIMIENTO TAL COMO UN ALQUIL SILANO, UN ARIL SILANO, UN COMPUESTO DE FLUORCARBONO O CON UNA SOLUCION O UN LATEX DE POR LO MENOS UN AGENTE DE REVESTIMIENTO POLIMERICO TAL COMO UN COPOLIMERO DE ESTIRENO-BUTADIENO O UN POLIURETANO ALIFATICO, QUE CONTIENE ENTRE 0,02 GRAMOS Y UN GRAMO DEL CITADO AGENTE DE REVESTIMIENTO POR KILO DE PERLAS DE VIDRIO. LAS PERLAS DE VIDRIO REVESTIDAS SE SECAN DE MANERA QUE SE FORME UN REVESTIMIENTO QUE CONTIENE EL AGENTE DE REVESTIMIENTO EN LA SUPERFICIE DE LAS PERLAS.
