Abstract

Butaca transformable en tumbona, caracterizada porque está constituida por una estructura metálica subdividida en cuatro elementos de armadura, de los cuales uno central que constituye el asiento, uno posterior que constituye el respaldo, uno superior que constituye el reposa cabezas subdividido en dos partes separadas y uno inferior que constituye la base, estando dichos elementos de armadura unidos entre si con charnelas y siendo el inferior giratorio en el extremo anterior del central para tomar o bien la posición girada debajo del elemento central para el sostenimiento de la butaca en la condición "cerrada", o bien la posición girada hacia fuera v hacia adelante para constituir el reposapiernas, estando el apoyo de la butaca en posición de tumbona subdividido entre el extremo posterior del elemento de armadura central y el extremo anterior girado del elemento de armadura inferior, pudiendo cada una de las dos partes del elemento de armadura superior girar independientemente la una de laotra sobre el extremo superior del elemento de armadura posterior para tomar cada una dos posiciones estables de levantada o bien de girada hacia atrás.
