Abstract

Conjunto de cable apto para instalarse en un conducto mediante soplado, comprendiendo el conjunto de cable una pluralidad de elementos de transmisión de la señal flexibles (2) aptos para transmitir señales ópticas y dispuestos de tal modo que los elementos de transmisión de la señal adyacentes entran en contacto entre sí, una primera capa que rodea dichos elementos de transmisión de la señal, y una capa continua más exterior (4) dispuesta hacia el exterior de dicha primera capa y que presenta un espesor inferior a 400 micrómetros, alrededor de por lo menos un 10 % de la circunferencia de dicha capa más exterior, caracterizado por que dicha capa más exterior (4) es una capa de polímero termoplástico y por que dichos elementos de transmisión de la señal se encuentran empotrados en dicha primera capa (3), siendo la dureza de la primera capa (3) tal que el movimiento axial de por lo menos los elementos de transmisión de la señal más exteriores con respecto a dicha primera capa se encuentra limitado, y en el que dicha primera capa (3) presenta una resistencia a la tracción cuando se endurece suficiente para bloquear en su lugar por lo menos los elementos de transmisión de la señal más exteriores (2) y permitir todavía que salgan fácilmente los elementos de transmisión de la señal para realizar su finalización y empalme.
