Un envase en forma de una bandeja de cartulina revestida de película (10) que tiene un panel formador de la pared inferior (17), paneles formadores de paredes integrales (34, 35, 46, 47) dispuestos en relación par y ascendente alrededor de la periferia del panel formador de la pared inferior (17) y paneles de membrana de acoplamiento de esquinas integrales (24, 25, 26, 27) en relación par (60, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68) en cada esquina, plegándose cada par de dichos paneles de membrana de acoplamiento de esquinas sobre una línea media (54, 55, 56, 57) y dispuestos en relación de superposición sobre la porción extrema de la cara exterior del panel formador de pared ascendente y adyacente (34, 35) en la esquina correspondiente, a fin de que la esquina figure a prueba de escapes, por lo menos una porción mayor de la profundidad de la bandeja, según se mide desde el panel formador de la pared inferior (17), teniendo cada panel formador de paredes ascendente (34, 35, 46, 47) una porción de panel reforzadores del borde integral relativamente estrecha en la forma de urea tira estrecha.
