Abstract

Un procedimiento para la fabricación embalajes en forma de tubos (16) de material flexible, caracterizado porque una parte anular (20) se empuja hacia adentro en una configuración en forma de U en al menos una extremidad (17) cerrada en forma de tubo, dicha parte anular está al menos parcialmente soldada a la parte restante del embalaje en partes opuestas de las mismas. Un aparato para realizar el procedimiento. Un embalaje obtenido con el procedimiento y el aparato.

Description

Procedimiento y aparato para la fabricación de envases en forma de tubo, de material flexible, y embalaje así obtenido.
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la fabricación de envases en forma de tubo hechos de material flexible, a un aparato para realizar el procedimiento y a un envase obtenido de esta manera.
Se conocen envases (contenedores) hechos de un material flexible y usados para contener café, galletas y bolsas de té. Para tener una cierta estabilidad, estos envases tienen un fondo reforzado producido mediante el termosellado de una porción preformada hecha de un material rígido.
También se conocen envases que tienen un fondo cuadrado obtenido mediante el plegado de una banda continua.
También se conocen envases que tienen refuerzos laterales dispuestos sobre el interior o sobre el exterior de las paredes laterales, otra vez con el propósito de asegurar una cierta estabilidad para el envase.
Todos estos envases convencionales presentan algunos inconvenientes, y en particular:
- la producción de su fondo es una tarea de una labor bastante intensiva;
- su estabilidad no es fiable;
- pierden su forma cuando se introduce el producto;
- adoptan formas que son poco adecuadas para la optimización del espacio (transporte, estantes).
La patente WO-A-9007451 describe un procedimiento para la fabricación de un contenedor tal como se define en el preámbulo de la reivindicación 1.
La patente DE-A-19539832 describe un procedimiento para la fabricación de un contenedor que comprende la etapa de termosellar los bordes del contenedor.
El propósito de la presente invención es eliminar estos inconvenientes y proporcionar un procedimiento que permita fabricar envases con un fondo reforzado de una manera simple y fácil.
Dentro de este propósito, un objetivo de la presente invención es proporcionar un procedimiento que permita usar un aparato que esté en línea respecto a la estación de llenado o directamente después de la formación de la bolsa.
Este propósito, este objetivo y otros que se harán evidentes a partir de la descripción adjunta se consiguen, según la invención, con un procedimiento para la fabricación de envases en forma de tubo hechos de un material flexible, tal como se define en el preámbulo de la reivindicación 1.
Otras características y ventajas de la presente invención se harán evidentes a partir de la descripción detallada adjunta de algunas realizaciones preferidas representadas solamente a modo de ejemplo no limitativo con referencia a los dibujos adjuntos, en los que:
Las figuras 1 a 4 son vistas de un aparato según la invención durante cuatro etapas diferentes de la preparación de un envase;
Las figuras 5 a 7 son vistas de un aparato diferente en un procedimiento operativo diferente;
La figura 8 es una vista en perspectiva del fondo de un envase obtenido con el aparato;
Las figuras 9 y 10 son vistas de un aparato para producir envases ya llenados; y
Las figuras 11 y 12 son vistas de un aparato diferente.
Tal como se muestra en las figuras, el procedimiento según la invención usa un aparato que está dispuesto después de una máquina convencional de formación o envasado (no representada en los dibujos) del tipo vertical, de la cual solamente se ha representado el tubo de llenado final 2. El tubo es cuadrado en el ejemplo representado, pero también puede ser circular, elíptico, etc.
En particular, el aparato comprende un elemento interno 4 que tiene la misma forma que el tubo y puede moverse verticalmente mediante dispositivos convencionales que no forman parte de la invención. El elemento interno está situado en el interior del tubo 2 y está provisto, en su extremo inferior, de un collar 6 cuyas dimensiones externas se corresponden substancialmente con las del tubo 2.
Un émbolo 8 está previsto que encare el elemento interno 4 coaxialmente y tiene la misma sección transversal que el collar, pero dimensiones menores.
Están previstas dos pares de barras de termosellado 10 a los lados del aparato y se pueden mover hacia y alejándose del aparato, por ejemplo mediante gatos hidráulicos 12 a los cuales las barras de termosellado están rígidamente acopladas. Las barras de termosellado 10 también pueden ser las mismas barras de termosellado provistas de una cuchilla que se usa para termosoldar el fondo del envase y separarlo de la película flexible que llega desde la bobina. En particular, dichas barras de termosellado pueden estar constituidas por dispositivos de termosellado de tipo de inducción, impulso, aire caliente, radiofrecuencia, ultrasonidos y láser.
También están previstas estrechas cintas transportadoras 14 para el avance de una película flexible 16 envuelta sobre el tubo 2 y ya termosellada en sus solapas longitudinales a los lados del tubo.
El uso del aparato en esta realización permite envolver la cinta de película flexible 16 (plástico, aluminio, papel) que llega desde la bobina sobre un collar de formación que está dispuesto antes del tubo 2 para formar un envase de tubo continuo, cuyo fondo 17 están termosellado con procedimientos convencionales mediante las barras de termosellado 10.
Durante esta etapa, el elemento interno 4 está completamente alojado en el tubo 2 y la superficie del collar 6 forma, junto con la superficie del tubo, una superficie substancialmente continua (ver figura 1).
A continuación, el elemento interno 4 se hace que sobresalga del tubo de formación 2 de manera que el envase movido por las cintas transportadoras 14 muestra una porción anular 18 que es substancialmente el doble de alta que el fondo reforzado que se prevé en el envase (ver la figura 2).
A continuación, el collar 6 se hace que se eleve otra vez parcialmente y el émbolo 8 se eleva a continuación, entrando parcialmente el collar 6 para provocar la inserción, en una configuración el forma de U, de la porción anular 18 en el envase y, en consecuencia, formar un faldón anular 20 que rodea completamente el collar 6 (ver la figura 3). La elevación del elemento interno 4 y del collar 6 se acciona a continuación, retornando el collar a su posición original; al mismo tiempo, las barras de termosellado 10 se hacen avanzar, termosellando las dos solapas del faldón 20, de manera que los lados internos se encaran entre sí, usando el émbolo 8 como un tope.
A continuación, el producto se introduce en el tubo 2 y el envase, después de haberse termosellado en el extremo superior, se envía a los tratamientos posteriores.
En una realización diferente (no representada en los dibujos), el collar 6 está afectado mediante una pluralidad de aberturas que coinciden con las zonas calientes en las barras de termosellado; esta realización permite termosellar el faldón, aunque mediante zonas discontinuas, sin tener que elevar el elemento interno 4.
En una segunda realización representada en las figuras 5 y 7, el procedimiento permite introducir el émbolo 8 en el tubo 2, moviendo una porción de la película flexible para formar un faldón anular 20 como en el caso anterior. A continuación, se hacen avanzar barras de termosellado 110 hacia el faldón; las barras de termosellado están provistas de ventosas 112 que, junto con el émbolo 8, retiran el faldón del collar 6. Una vez el faldón 20 se ha retirado del collar 6, las barras de termosellado 10 realizan su acción de termosellado, otra vez usando el émbolo 8 con tope. El producto se introduce a continuación en el tubo y el envase se envía a los tratamientos posteriores.
En casos particulares, el envase, después de que se haya formado y termosellado el faldón 20, se corta de la parte restante de la película continua 16 y se aplana en sus extremos para formar dos solapas que se termosellan posteriormente. El envase se abre a continuación en el otro extremo y se llena con el producto.
Para asegurar una mayor estabilidad del envase resultante, la película que constituye el envase puede estar afectada por bandas de refuerzo transversales del mismo material o de otro material, las cuales, durante la formación del envase, se colocan exactamente en la zona que forma el faldón. Esta solución tiene la ventaja adicional de obtener un envase más estable.
Para asegurar también una apariencia estética agradable del envase, el procedimiento permite insertar un elemento perfilado correspondiente en el fondo hueco, formado y delimitado de esta manera mediante el faldón.
La realización mostrada en las figuras 9 y 10 es un aparato del tipo horizontal para la formación de envases con el producto ya insertado en su interior.
En esta realización, el aparato comprende una cámara 22 para alojar el envase; dicha cámara está formada por cuatro paredes desplazables 24 que están constituidas por barras de termosellado provistas de ventosas de agarre 26 y mediante dos émbolos de termosellado 28 que se pueden mover axialmente hacia el interior de dicha cámara. En particular, las barras de termosellado 24 tienen dimensiones longitudinales que se corresponden substancialmente con las dimensiones del tubo diseñado para formar el envase.
El procedimiento según la invención, en esta realización, permite retener firmemente en envase, ahora cerrado en sus extremos, en las superficies laterales mediante las ventosas 26 de las barras de termosellado 24, y a continuación insertar axialmente los émbolos 28 para formar, en los dos extremos, dos faldones anulares 30 que, mediante la acción térmica de las barras 24 y del tope de los émbolos 28, están termosellados de manera que las superficies internas están encaradas entre sí.
En la realización representada en las figuras 11 y 12, los émbolos se han reemplazado mediante el uso de pares de barras de termosellado 32, que están articuladas a los extremos de las paredes 24 y que, bajo rotación, provocan la retracción del fondo en el interior de la cámara para formar, también en este caso, un faldón anular 30.

Claims (9)

1. Procedimiento para la fabricación de envases en forma de tubo (16) hechos de material flexible, que comprende la etapa de empujar hacia el interior una porción anular en una disposición en forma de U en por lo menos un extremo cerrado (17) de un envase en forma de tubo, caracterizado por el hecho de que dicha porción anular está por lo menos parcialmente termosellada a la parte restante del envase en porciones encaradas de la misma, y por el hecho de que un sello saliente ortogonal al fondo o parte superior del contenedor se define antes de la etapa de empujar hacia el interior dicha porción anular, para facilitar la fabricación de la porción anular que sobresale hacia el interior.
2. Procedimiento según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por el hecho de que se usa una película flexible que está transversalmente afectada por bandas de refuerzo en las zonas donde la disposición en forma de U se produce durante la formación.
3. Procedimiento según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por el hecho de que se aplica un elemento perfilado correspondiente al fondo hueco.
4. Aparato para la realización del procedimientos según las reivindicaciones 1 a 3, que comprende:
elementos (4, 24) para retener las paredes laterales del envase (16), que tiene por lo menos un extremo cerrado (17);
medios (8, 28) constituidos por un émbolo, que se pueden insertar axialmente por lo menos parcialmente en dichos elementos para retener dichas paredes laterales para formar, en dicho extremo cerrado, una porción anular que está doblada en una forma a modo de U;
caracterizado por el hecho de que comprende:
medios para termosellar dicha porción anular doblada en una forma a modo de U y por el hecho de que dichos elementos para retener las paredes laterales están constituidos por un elemento interno (4) que está situado en interior de un tubo de relleno (2) del envase y tiene un collar (6) cuya superficie externa corresponde con la superficie externa del tubo de relleno.
5. Aparato según la reivindicación 4, caracterizado por el hecho de que comprende cintas transportadoras estrechas (14) para producir el avance del envase desde el exterior.
6. Aparato según la reivindicación 4, caracterizado por el hecho de que los elementos de retención están constituidos por barras de termosellado (24) dispuestas en el exterior del envase, estando provistas dichas barras de termosellado de ventosas (26) para retener el envase (16), y por el hecho de que los medios de inserción axial están constituidos por dos émbolos (28) opuestos entre sí.
7. Aparato según la reivindicación 4, caracterizado por el hecho de que los medios de inserción axial están constituidos por barras de termosellado (32) que están articuladas a las barras de termosellado que rodean el envase.
8. Envase obtenido con el procedimiento según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por el hecho de que por lo menos un borde inferior cerrado del envase está doblado hacia el interior en una forma a modo de U.
9. Envase según la reivindicación 8, caracterizado por el hecho de que el borde doblado en una forma a modo de U tiene una banda de refuerzo.
