LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO DE DISOLUCION DE OXIDOS DEPOSITADOS SOBRE UN SUSTRATO METALICO. EL OBJETIVO DE LA INVENCION ES DESCONTAMINAR SUSTRATOS CONTAMINADOS POR DEPOSICIONES DE MATERIAS RADIACTIVAS, SIN ATAQUE SIGNIFICATIVO DEL SUSTRATO. ESTE OBJETIVO SE ALCANZA MEDIANTE UN PROCESO QUE COMPRENDE AL MENOS UN CICLO QUE CONSISTE EN: A) EFECTUAR UN ATAQUE OXIDANTE MEDIANTE UNA SOLUCION QUE CONTIENE AL MENOS PERMANGANATO, A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 80 (GRADOS) C Y 85 (GRADOS) C, B) EFECTUAR UN ATAQUE REDUCTOR MEDIANTE UNA SOLUCION QUE COMPRENDE UN REDUCTOR Y ACIDO NITRICO, A UN PH INFERIOR A 2 Y A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 80 Y 85 (GRADOS) C.
