CONSISTE EN EL TRATAMIENTO DEL RECUBRIMIENTO, QUE CONTIENE LAS SUSTANCIAS RADIACTIVAS CON UNA DISOLUCION OXIDANTE CONSTITUIDA POR AGUA, DE 0,1 A 2% DE UN HIPOHALITO ALCALINO, ESPECIALMENTE HIPOBROMITO SODICO O POTASICO Y UN HIDROXIDO DE METAL ALCALINO EN CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE PARA QUE EL PH NO SEA INFERIOR A 12, A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 50JC Y 120JC; SEGUIDA DE LA SOLUBILIZACION DE LOS IONES METALICOS DEL RECUBRIMIENTO Y SEPARACION DE LOS RADIONUCLIDOS POR TRATAMIENTO CON UNA DISOLUCION CONSTITUIDA POR AGUA, UN ACIDO ORGANICO Y UN QUELATO, A LA MISMA TEMPERATURA.
