Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE DERIVADOS DE 1,1-DIOXIDO DEL ACIDO PENICILANICO, DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE X PUEDE SER UNO DE VARIOS TIPOS DE RADICALES. CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE REDUCCION DE UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE X ES EL MISMO QUE EN LA FORMULA (I), Y ES HIDROGENO, CLORO, BROMO O YODO; Z ES CLORO, BROMO O YODO; Y N VALE 0-2. LA REDUCCION SE LLEVA A CABO CON UN HIDRURO METALICO COMPLEJO, O CON UN HIDROGENO EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR DE METAL NOBLE. SI N ES 0 O 1, EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO SE OXIDA CON UN AGENTE OXIDANTE, TAL COMO PERMANGANATO POTASICO. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES COMO INTERMEDIOS PARA LA OBTENCION DE ANTIBIOTICOS CON ACTIVIDAD INHIBIDORA DE ~J-LACTAMASAS.
