EL PROCESO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE OXIDO DE MAGNESIO COMPRENDE: (A) LA REACCION DE UNA SAL DE MAGNESIO SOLUBLE EN AGUA CON UNA SUSTANCIA ALCALINA CON UN PESO EQUIVALENTE NO MAYOR DE 0.95, POR PESO EQUIVALENT4 DE LA SAL DE MAGNESIO SOLUBLE EN AGUA,M A UNA TEMPERATURA NO SUPERIOR A 40 C; (B) EL CALENTAMIENTO DEL PRODUCTO DE REACCION RESULTANTE Y DE LAS AGUA MADRES DE REACCION ENTRE 50 Y 120 C, PARA FORMAR EL HIDROXIDO DE MAGNESIO; (C) LA FORMACION DEL OXIDO DE MAGNESIO EN PARTICULAS CON UN DIAMETRO MEDIO DE PARTICULA SECUNDARIA DE ENTRE 5 Y 500 (MU)M USANDO UN DESHIDRATADOR DE ASPERSION; (D) EL COCIMIENTO DE LAS PARTICULAS ENTRE 1.100 Y 1.600 C Y (E) LA PULVERIZACION DE LAS PARTICULAS COCIDAS RESULTANTE BAJO CONDICIONES EN LAS QUE NO SE DESTRUYE SUSTANCIALMENTE EL DIAMETRO MEDIO DE PARTICULA SECUNDARIA OBTENIDO EN EL PASO (C).
