Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pack for products from the tobacco industry, the pack having a box part and a lid pivotably arranged on the box part via a line hinge, and wherein the box part contains a package content, and the package has a collar that holds the package content on several sides at least partially and which protrudes with the package contents from the box part open at the top, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such packs are known from practice in numerous variants.
  • the invention is based on the object of further developing packs of the type mentioned at the outset, in particular with a view to improving the manufacturability of the packs.
  • a pack for solving this problem has the features of claim 1. It is accordingly provided that the walls of the collar, starting from a front side of the box part, extend into the area of an opposite rear side of the box part on which the line hinge is also located.
  • One advantage of the collar walls in the area of the rear side of the box part or the contents of the package can be that the stability of the collar is improved as a result. This also allows larger recesses in the collar, for example in the area of a collar front wall.
  • a special feature can be that, in particular to delimit the walls of the collar, weakening lines are applied in the material of the collar, which are designed to weaken the material along the respective To lead weakening line, wherein the collar has differently designed weakening lines, of which at least some lead to a different degree of material weakening.
  • the collar has a collar front wall, collar side walls and collar rear walls, which extend along corresponding walls of the box part, in particular along a box front wall, box side walls and a box rear wall, and that In the transition from the collar side walls to the collar rear wall and / or in the transition from the collar side walls to the collar front wall, differently designed weakening lines are arranged, which lead to a different degree of material weakening.
  • a collar beveled edge wall is arranged between the collar side walls and the collar rear wall, which in plan is inclined to the respective collar side walls and the collar wall.
  • Rear wall runs, and that the lines of weakness between the collar side walls and the respective collar beveled wall have a lower degree of material weakening than the lines of weakness between the collar beveled edge walls and the collar rear wall.
  • a respective collar bevel edge wall is arranged between the collar side walls and the collar front wall, which in plan runs obliquely to the respective collar side walls and the collar front wall, and that the Weakening lines between the collar front wall and the respectively adjacent collar beveled edge wall have a lower degree of material weakening than the weakening lines between the said collar beveled edge walls and the respectively adjacent collar side wall.
  • a curved intermediate collar wall is arranged between the collar side walls and the collar rear wall, which has preferably parallel grooves arranged at short intervals as weakening lines, and that weakening lines in the transition from the collar -Side walls to the respective collar partition have a lower degree of material weakening than lines of weakness in the transition from the respective collar partition to the collar rear wall.

  • lines of weakness with a greater degree of material weakening can be formed, for example, by scoring the material of the collar, and lines of weakness with a lesser degree of material weakening, for example, by grooving the material of the collar.
  • Material weakening the folding behavior of the blank for the collar can be influenced, in particular in such a way that walls of the collar that lie on lines of weakness with a lower degree of material weakening are more difficult to fold than walls of the collar that lie on lines of weakness with a greater degree of material weakening.
  • Another special feature can consist in the fact that the collar rear walls preferably extend together over at least 10% of the width of the rear wall of the Extend the box part, preferably over at least 20%, more preferably over at least 30%.
  • the invention also relates to a method for producing a pack for products in the tobacco industry, according to the preamble of claim 11.
  • This aspect of the device is therefore based on the object of proposing measures which allow such packs to be produced easily.
  • a method according to the invention for solving this object has the features of claim 11. It is therefore provided that the blank for the collar on the platform is folded around the contents of the package on all sides.
  • stage can be adjusted with relatively little effort so that a collar can be folded which is located on all sides of the package contents.
  • the blank for the collar is folded around the package contents on the platform in such a way that a collar front wall extends in the area of a front side of the package contents, collar side walls extend in the area of narrow sides of the package contents and collar rear walls extend extend in the region of a rear side of the package contents opposite the front side.
  • the blank for the collar is folded during the transport along the platform, whereby it is preferably provided that the blank and the package contents are transported along the platform by an in particular common slide.
  • the collar side walls can be folded relative to the collar front wall, in particular by folding by means of one or more switches and folding elements associated with the switches, preferably stationary on the platform.
  • the folding of the collar side walls takes place at a distance from the package contents, and that the partially folded collar is then brought together with the package contents, preferably by means of at least one guide, in particular by placing the collar front wall against the front of the package contents .
