Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kletterelement mit wenigstens einer von einer Sichtseite zu einer Rückseite des Kletterelementes verlaufenden Durchgangsöffnung, wobei an oder in der Durchgangsöffnung ein Verstärkungselement angeordnet ist, das eine zu der Durchgangsöffnung konzentrisch angeordnete Durchführungsöffnung aufweist, wobei ein Ende des Verstärkungselementes einen Schraubenkopfgegenhalt ausbildet. Das Kletterelement ist überwiegend aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff ausgebildet, wobei entweder das Verstärkungselement aus einem den Schraubenkopfgegenhalt aufweisenden Gegenhalteelement und einem von der Rückseite in die Durchgangsöffnung ragenden Rohrniet zusammengesetzt ist, wobei ein Kragen des Rohrniets auf der Rückseite des Kletterelementes aufliegt und ein dem Kragen des Rohrniets gegenüber befindlicher freier Endbereich des Rohrniets durch das Gegenhalteelement hindurchgeführt und umgebördelt ist, oder das Verstärkungselement ein einziges Element ist, das auf der Sichtseite des Kletterelementes mit seiner Unterseite in den Kunststoff des Kletterelementes eingedrückt ist, wobei eine Oberseite des Verstärkungselementes zumindest partiell von dem Kunststoff überdeckt ist. Die Erfindung beinhaltet ferner ein Klettersystem mit einem solchen Kletterelement.
