Definitions
- the invention relates to packaging for a snack, in particular a kebab, in the form of a bag.
- a doner kebap, or "döner” for short is a Turkish snack developed in Germany in which a mixture of grilled meat and other ingredients, such as vegetables or salad, are served in a flatbread together with a yogurt sauce.
- kebabs are usually offered in paper bags that are open on one side. To take away, kebabs are usually wrapped in aluminum foil. This is relatively complicated and time-consuming.
- aluminum packaging is not a particularly resource-saving type of packaging due to its energy-intensive production.
- packaging for a snack in particular for a kebab, is proposed in the form of a bag, which assumes a folded state for the preparation of the snack and is transformed from the folded state into an unfolded state for packaging the snack.
- the bag according to the invention comprises a front part and a back part with a tab. The front part and the back part are connected to each other and form a pocket that can be closed using the tab.
- To prepare the snack the bag is folded. After the snack is finished, the bag is unfolded, the snack is pushed into the bag and the bag is then closed using the tab.
- the folded state of the bag is characterized by the fact that a bottom section of the bag is folded over along a folded edge, so that the bag volume is reduced.
- the folded edge runs in a transverse direction of the bag.
- the two corners at the ends of the folded edge are folded over, e.g. B. like “dog ears”.
- Folding creates a bag with a reduced volume in which the snack can be conveniently packed. Folding over the corners of the folded edge allows a restaurant employee to hold the bag securely in their hand and the snack, such as. B. a kebab, easy to prepare.
- the bag is unfolded and returns to its original volume. The snack is then pushed into the bag and the bag is closed using the tab.
- the above-mentioned folded floor section can be folded forward or backward. According to a preferred embodiment, the section is folded backwards. In a preferred one In this embodiment, the section is folded 180 degrees and points towards the tab.
- the two corners of the folded edge can also generally be folded forward or backward.
- the corners could also be folded inwards between the folded bottom section and the opposite upper section of the bag, but this would be technically more complex.
- the two corners are folded in the opposite direction as the end portion of the bag.
- the corners are preferably folded forwards.
- both the bottom portion of the bag and the corners are folded backwards.
- the two corners are preferably folded 180 degrees.
- the bag according to the invention is preferably rectangular or rectangular in shape.
- the depth of the pocket corresponds to a longitudinal direction of the bag.
- the fold edge preferably runs in the transverse direction.
- the folded edge lies approximately in the middle of the depth of the pocket.
- the position of the folded edge can also differ from the middle of the bag and, for example, be closer to the flap or closer to the bottom of the bag.
- the corners are so large that one of their edges is approximately at the height of the pocket opening.
- the front and back parts of the bag each have an inside that is opposite the other part.
- the insides of the two parts are preferably glued together in an edge area.
- the front part and the back part have the same width in the transverse direction.
- a side fold or the like it is not absolutely necessary to provide a side fold or the like to create a larger volume of the bag. Rather, it is sufficient if the front part and the back part lie flat on top of each other and are connected to one another at the side area. According to a special embodiment, a bellows can also be provided between the front part and the back part, which makes it possible to increase the pocket volume.
- the bag can also be slit in the area of the bag opening in order to provide a larger bag volume for preparing the snack when folded and to make preparation easier.
- the side slits can extend from the pocket opening to the folded edge, but they can also be shorter and z. B. only extend to the middle between the opening and the fold edge.
- the length of the slot(s) can e.g. B. 2 -5 cm.
- the front and back parts of the bag are preferably made of a layered material, such as paper or plastic.
- the entire bag is preferably made of paper.
- an adhesive for closing the bag can also be provided.
- an adhesive can be provided on the tab and/or in the area of the pocket.
- Suitable adhesives can be, for example, adhesive dots, adhesive strips or other adhesives known from the prior art.
- the bag opening can also be closed only by folding over the flap or an upper part of the bag.
- the bag can have beveled corners at the bottom. This makes the bag narrower in the bottom area, which means the kebab is held in place better when it is packed in the bag.
- the present invention also relates to the use of a bag-shaped packaging for packaging a snack, in particular a kebab, which is designed as described above.
- the bag is transformed between a folded state in which the snack is packaged and a spread state in which the snack is packaged for take-away.
- the bag is equipped with a perforation, a consumer can tear off part of the bag to reveal and consume the snack.
- the snack is located in the lower part of the bag and can be easily held by the consumer without getting their fingers dirty.
- Fig. 1 shows a bag 1 for preparing and packaging a snack, in particular a kebab or a sandwich.
- the bag is first unfolded in its basic state Fig. 1 into a folded state according to Fig. 3 (or Fig. 5 ) brought.
- the snack is then placed in the folded bag 1 and packaged.
- the bag 1 is returned to its basic state and the snack is then packed in the bag 1.
- the bag 1 comprises a front part 2 and a back part 3 with a tab 4 which is used to close the bag 1.
- the front part 2 and back part 3 are glued together at their edge regions 11 and form a pocket 10.
- the pocket opening is provided with the reference number 8 and the upper edge of the pocket opening 8 is provided with the reference number 5.
- the bag 1 is preferably made of paper.
- the front part 2 and the back part 3 lie flat on top of each other and are each glued to the other part on their insides in the edge region 11.
- a bellows could also be provided on the long sides L1 of the bag 1, or the parts 2, 3 can be cut in such a way that the volume is larger than in the case of the bag 1 Fig. 1 shown flat embodiment.
- the bag When viewed from above, the bag has a substantially rectangular shape with a long side L1 and a transverse side L2.
- the length of the long side L1 is preferably greater than the length of the transverse side L2.
- the dimension of the front part 2 in the transverse direction is preferably the same as the dimension of the back part (before gluing).
- the length of the front part 2 is preferably shorter than the length of the back part 3.
- the protruding part of the back part 3 forms a tab 4 which is used to close the bag 1.
- the bag 1 further comprises an adhesive 13 which makes it possible to attach the tab 4 to the outside of the bag 10.
- the adhesive 13 mentioned can be, for example, an adhesive dot or adhesive strip. Other fastening means known from the prior art can be used equally.
- Fig. 2 shows an intermediate step in forming the bag 1 from the unfolded state Fig. 1 in the folded state according to Fig. 3 .
- a bottom section 7 of the bag 10 is first folded over along a folded edge 6 in the direction of the tab 4, as indicated by arrow A.
- the folded edge 6 runs essentially in the transverse direction and can, for example, be approximately half the depth of the pocket 10. However, it can also lie further in the direction of the pocket opening 8 or in the direction of the bottom of the pocket.
- the two corners 9 located at the ends of the folded edge 6 are folded inwards.
- a folded edge of the corners 9 can, for example, lie at an angle of approximately 45 degrees with respect to the folded edge 6.
- Fig. 4 shows a top view of bag 1 from Fig. 1 from above.
- the edge area 11, where the two parts 2, 3 are glued together, is shown in dashed lines.
- Fig. 5 shows the bag 1 in the folded state with a kebab 15 inside, which is opened up to be filled with ingredients.
- Fig. 6 shows a state after the completion of the kebab 15.
- the bottom section 7 is folded out, as indicated by arrow B.
- the two corners 9 fold out automatically.
- the bag 1 is back in its basic state with a large pocket volume.
- the kebab 15 is then pushed into the bag 10 and the bag 1 is closed using the tab 4, as in Fig. 7 is shown schematically by an arrow C.
- Fig. 8 shows the packaged kebab 15 in the closed bag 1.
- Fig. 9 shows an alternative variant of the bag 1 with beveled corners 14 in the area of the bottom of the bag.
- the beveled corners 14 narrow the pocket volume in the bottom area, so that the kebab 15 has less freedom of movement and is held better in the pocket 10.
- the Figures 10 - 13 show a further embodiment of a bag 1 for preparing and packaging a snack, in particular a kebab or a sandwich, with a perforation 16.
- a bag 1 for preparing and packaging a snack in particular a kebab or a sandwich
- a perforation 16 allows a consumer to separate the bag 1 into two parts 17, 18 and then hold and eat the snack comfortably.
- the perforation 16 preferably runs completely around the outside in the transverse direction of the bag 1.
- the folded edge 6 and the perforation 16 are parallel and spaced apart here, with the perforation 16 being closer to the bottom of the pocket 10 than the folded edge 6.
- the perforation 16 and the folded edge 6 could also coincide locally.
- the bag 1 has a slot 19 on the right and left side edges 11 of the bag 10 in the area of the pocket opening 8.
- the side slots 19 can extend from the edge 5 of the pocket opening 8 to the folded edge 6, but they can also be shorter and e.g. B. only extend to the middle between opening 5 and fold edge 6.
- the length of the slots 19 can, for. B. 2 -5 cm.
