Definitions

  • the invention relates to a slide comprising a slide element which has a slide surface.
  • the invention further relates to a slide element for use in such a slide.
  • Slides especially for children, are known in a large number of different designs and have an inclined plane, namely a slide surface, which consists of a relatively smooth material with a low coefficient of friction. On this slide, children can slide down easily and without their own effort due to gravity. In addition to slides used for children's amusement, emergency slides or slides for locomotion are also known.
  • the present invention deals with children's slides.
  • Slides of this type are usually made of plastic or wood and are either made in one piece or have a ladder element and a slide element which can be connected to one another.
  • a disadvantage of these known slides is the relatively large space requirement. Especially with one-piece slides, which cannot be disassembled, a relatively large amount of space is required to store the slide when not in use. Due to the size of these slides, handling them is also difficult. Due to the special construction of the slides, they are also relatively complex to manufacture and therefore expensive. This is all the more relevant because children's slides are usually only in use for a few years and then have to be disposed of or resold.
  • the invention provides a slide comprising a slide element which has a slide surface, and a stepladder, in particular a stepladder, which comprises a ladder part and a support part which are pivotably connected to one another, the slide element having at least one holding element which can be detachably connected to a cross brace of the support part.
  • a stepladder in particular a stepladder, which comprises a ladder part and a support part which are pivotably connected to one another, the slide element having at least one holding element which can be detachably connected to a cross brace of the support part.
  • the invention provides that at least two holding elements are provided and at least one holding element, in particular both holding elements, can be adjusted relative to the sliding surface to change the distance between the two holding elements. This makes it possible to use the slide element with several different conductors.
  • the sliding element can be attached to all stepladders of the EN 131 standard.
  • the slide consists of two parts, which are made available as separate components and can only be connected to one another when needed using the holding element and the cross brace: a stepladder and a slide element.
  • a stepladder is understood to be any ladder that can stand without additional support, e.g. by a wall.
  • the stepladder is a conventional stepladder (household ladder) that is available inexpensively and is already present in most homes anyway.
  • the ladder part has at least one rung that can be used to climb the ladder and the support part has at least one cross brace to ensure the stability of the ladder.
  • the cross brace preferably connects two bars of the support part to one another.
  • the support part can either only be provided to support the ladder part or alternatively have rungs themselves.
  • a stepladder that can only be climbed on one side, in particular a stepladder according to the EN 131 standard.
  • a stepladder for the slide provides a ladder that can also be used for other purposes in the household, so that no additional storage space and usually no additional purchase for the ladder element of the slide is required. Due to the pivotability of the ladder part and the support part relative to each other, the ladder can be folded together to save space.
  • the sliding element can be connected to the stepladder and can be folded away when not in use be stowed away separately so that little space is required for the slide element.
  • the top step of the stepladder is designed as a standing platform, which is arranged so that it can be supported on the cross brace of the support part.
  • a child can first sit down on the standing platform before sliding down the slide element, which can reduce the risk of the child slipping on the slide.
  • the sliding surface is essentially flush with the standing platform. In particular, this avoids the formation of a step between the standing platform and the slide surface.
  • the arrangement can preferably be formed in such a way that the slide surface adjoins the standing platform essentially without a gap, so that a gap that is uncomfortable and also dangerous for sliding children is avoided.
  • the sliding element is preferably made to have a substantially continuously flat sliding surface.
  • this enables cost-effective production and, on the other hand, the flat shape of the sliding surface reduces the space requirement when not in use compared to a wavy sliding surface, for example.
  • the sliding surface consists entirely of a single flat wooden board.
  • the sliding element is at least on one side, preferably on two opposite sides has a side cheek.
  • the at least one side wall is particularly preferably formed by a board, in particular a wooden board, which is connected, in particular screwed and/or glued, to the sliding surface.
  • the side walls are preferably detachably connected to the sliding element, for example with the aid of a plug-in system.
  • the side wall(s) can/can extend along the entire slide surface or only over a part of the slide surface. Furthermore, the side panel(s) preferably always has/have the same height, starting from the sliding surface. Simply cut (wooden) boards can be used for this.
  • the sliding element consists at least partially of wood.
  • the sliding surface and possibly the side panel(s) are made entirely of wood.
  • the sliding element can also be made (in part) of a plastic or a metal, for example.
  • the folded stepladder can be arranged between the side walls.
  • the distance between the side panels is greater than the width of the stepladder.
  • the holding elements each comprise a hook which can be hung on the cross brace, with a relative to the Hook resiliently displaceable clasp is provided to secure the hook to the cross brace.
  • a spring-loaded, displaceable clip which, when connected, closes the hook opening and is deflected against the spring force while the hook is being attached or removed in such a way that the hook opening is released and the sliding element can be detached from the ladder.
  • the clasp has a part which is fixed relative to the sliding element and a part which can be displaced relative to the sliding element and which closes the hook opening in the connected state.
  • the clasp is preferably fastened to the holding element or to the sliding element with the aid of at least one screw.
  • a hook can be square, rounded, or any other shape.
  • the cross brace connects two struts of the support part with one another, that a gap is provided between the standing platform supported on the cross strut and the struts, and that the sliding element carries two, in particular, hook-like holding elements, which engage in the respective gap.
  • the hook has a width of approx. 0.5-2 cm has to be able to be connected to conventional conductors.
  • the holding elements are arranged such that they can pivot about a pivot axis relative to the sliding surface, with the holding elements also preferably each being mounted in a slot-shaped guide.
  • a fastening screw of a clasp projecting beyond the holding element is particularly preferably used as the guide element of a holding element arranged in the slot-shaped guide.
  • the width of the holding elements can also be adjusted by providing elongated holes running in the width direction.
  • the holding elements can be moved steplessly along the elongated holes and fixed in the respectively desired position by connecting elements passing through the elongated holes, in particular screws.
  • At least one holding element can be adjusted relative to the slide surface in such a way that the distance between an element of the ladder, in particular the standing platform, and the slide surface can be varied.
  • This can be made possible, for example, by means of screws arranged in elongated holes or by providing several connection points, for example holes, for the holding element on the sliding element, which are used as required.
  • the gap between the ladder and the sliding element can be changed and in particular reduced or avoided, and the sliding element can be adapted to the size of the respective ladder.
  • the sliding element preferably has a standing element in the region of the end facing away from the ladder during use.
  • the standing element can be formed, for example, by a chamfer or bevel, which runs essentially parallel to the ground during use, so that better stability is achieved.
  • the sliding element can have a flexible material layer in this area in order to improve the support of the sliding element on the floor.
  • the sliding element can preferably have one or more recessed grips and/or a belt strap in order to facilitate handling of the sliding element.
  • a slide element is also provided for use in a slide according to the invention, the slide element having a slide surface which is delimited on both sides by a side piece each, and the slide element has two, in particular, hook-shaped holding elements which can be hooked onto a cross brace of a stepladder, with at least one of the holding elements, in particular two holding elements, being adjustable relative to the sliding surface in order to change the distance between the two holding elements.
  • a slide element according to the invention for attachment to a cross brace of a stepladder to produce a children's slide is also provided, with the slide surface adjoining the platform of the stepladder essentially flush with the surface.
  • FIG. 1 a slide according to the invention
  • 2 a ladder of in 1 of the type shown in the folded state
  • 3 a detailed view of a sliding element according to the invention with holding elements
  • 4 a detailed view of a holding element
  • figure 5 an alternative design of a holding element
  • 6 a perspective view of a holding element according to the invention
  • 7 a side view of the front portion of the holding element according to FIG 6
  • 8 a view of a collapsed slide according to the invention.
  • In 1 1 denotes a slide, which is formed by a stepladder 2 and a sliding element 3 .
  • the stepladder 2 has a ladder part 4 , which comprises a plurality of rungs 5 , and a support part 6 , the ladder part 4 and the support part 6 being pivotable relative to one another about an axis 7 and jointly carrying a standing platform 8 .
  • the slide element 3 is connected to a cross brace 9 supporting the standing platform 8 by means of holding means, not shown.
  • the sliding element 3 has a continuously flat sliding surface 10 and side walls 11 on both sides of the sliding surface 10.
  • the standing platform 8 is pivotably connected to the ladder part 4 so that it is pivoted upwards when the stepladder 2 is in the folded state.
  • the cross brace 9 can be seen better, which connects the two bars of the support part 6 to one another and which serves as a support for the standing platform 8 when the ladder is unfolded. Since the length of the cross brace 9 is greater than the width of the standing platform 8, when the ladder 2 is folded out, there remains a gap 20 on both sides of the standing platform 8 between the standing platform 8 and the respective spar of the support part 6, in which the cross brace 9 is not covered by the standing platform 8. In these free end areas of the cross brace 9, the 3 holding elements of the sliding element 3 illustrated in more detail.
  • the upper part of the sliding element 3 is shown with two holding elements 12 .
  • the holding elements 12 are each designed as a hook which is pivotably mounted about the axis 13 . Furthermore, a holding element 12 is guided in a slot-shaped guide 14 with the aid of a guide element 15 connected to the holding element 12 . This arrangement of the holding elements 12 allows the sliding element 3 to be adapted to the appropriate width of a ladder.
  • In 4 is a part of the sliding element 3 and a holding element 12 in three different pivoting positions about the axis 13 is shown schematically.
  • the holding element 12 can be provided with elongated holes 16' and 18', which allow the holding elements 12 to be adjusted relative to the sliding element 3 in the longitudinal direction. As a result, the distance between the sliding element 3 and the standing platform 8 can be adjusted.
  • figure 5 12 shows an alternative design for the adjustable attachment of the holding elements 12 to the sliding element 3.
  • the holding element 12 has two elongated holes 16' and 18' running in the longitudinal direction, which allow the holding element to be adjusted in the longitudinal direction 22.
  • the sliding element 3 has elongated holes or slots 21 running in the width direction, which allow the holding element to be adjusted in the width direction 23 .
  • a retaining element 12 designed as a hook is shown schematically.
  • the holding element 12 has a plurality of holes 16 which are used for attachment to the sliding element 3 and can be used, for example, to adjust the holding elements 12 in the sliding direction relative to the sliding element 3 .
  • the holes 16 can also define the pivot axis 13 .
  • the holding element 12 has a clasp 17 that can be displaced resiliently relative to the holding element 12 and serves to additionally secure the holding element 12 on the cross brace 9 .
  • the clasp 17 is fastened to the holding element 12 or to the sliding element 3 with the aid of the holes 18 .
  • a screw arranged in a hole 18 and projecting beyond the holding element 12 can serve as a guide element 15 for guiding in a guide 14 .
  • a respective slot 16 'or 18' may be provided.
  • In 7 is the front portion of the holding member 12 according to 4 shown in a side view, with 19 schematically showing the path of the clasp 17 between an open and a closed position.
  • a slide 1 is shown in the collapsed state.
  • the folded stepladder 2 is here arranged between the side walls 11 of the slide element 3 in order to enable the slide 1 to be stored in as space-saving a manner as possible.
