Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hand press for pressing a package and in particular it relates to a hand press for pressing a food package.
  • the U.S. 2,665,632 A discloses a press device for automatically pressing packages after loading them into the press device.
  • the JP H11 77391 A discloses a press apparatus for continuous operation and in which jamming can be prevented.
  • a hand press according to the invention for pressing packaging preferably food packaging, more preferably a bottle or can, has a housing which has at least one first opening for inserting the packaging and at least one second opening for disposing of the packaging. Furthermore, the manual press has a pressing device, which is arranged essentially inside the housing and has a first pressing surface, and an actuating device, which is connected via a rotary shaft to at least one lever, which is rotatably mounted with the pressing device.
  • the hand press has a flap device which is arranged essentially inside the housing and has a first part for closing the first opening of the housing and a second part with a second pressing surface.
  • the flap device can be fixed in at least two positions by the pressing device, wherein in at least one starting position the packaging is held at least partially by the first part in the area of the first opening and in at least one pressing position the first opening is at least partially closed by the first part and the first and second pressing surfaces form a wedge-shaped pressing space, so that the packaging is brought into the housing during the transition from the initial position to the pressing position, in the pressing position in the region of the tip of the wedge-shaped
  • the pressing chamber is at least partially held and compressible by the first and second pressing surface and can be ejected from the housing through the second opening during a subsequent transition from the pressing position to the starting position.
  • the pressing device can be moved during the transition from the starting position to the pressing position such that the angle of the wedge-shaped pressing chamber is reduced and the pressing device is guided in a predetermined radial curved path by at least one pin arranged on the pressing device.
  • the first pressing surface is curved and/or angled towards the second pressing surface in the region of the tip of the wedge-shaped pressing chamber.
  • One aspect of the invention is based on the approach of waste which, in uncompressed form, has a high surface area or have space requirements, to press in a simple manner using a hand press, so that a pressing force caused by the leverage of the hand press according to the invention is exerted on the packaging with as little muscle effort as possible, so that it can be brought into a spatially compressed form as possible.
  • a space-saving storage of the waste can already be made possible while the waste is being stored, for example in a rubbish bag or in a rubbish bin.
  • a collection point such as a rubbish dump
  • more waste can be transported within a transport container with the same transport container size.
  • a collection point thus requires less space to store the waste produced.
  • This arrangement reduces or prevents the risk of the packaging slipping through when it is located within the wedge-shaped compression chamber, in particular due to slipping through the second opening of the housing.
  • the curved track is set up in such a way that the pressing device rotates more strongly when passing through the pin in a first area of the curved track than in a second area of the curved track.
  • This arrangement reduces or prevents the packaging to be compacted from shifting, in particular from sliding up, since the angle spanned by the wedge-shaped compaction chamber is initially reduced to a greater extent and the pressing surfaces are thus reduced as the packaging is more compacted are preferably arranged almost parallel, in particular parallel, to one another.
  • the radial center point of the cam track does not correspond to the center point of the axis of the rotary shaft.
  • the pin has at least one roller which is guided in the cam track. This reduces the frictional resistance of the roller of the journal within the cam track, so that the hand press requires little maintenance in this respect.
  • the surface of the first and/or second pressing surface is at least partially uneven and/or has an anti-slip structure. This makes it possible that when force is applied to the pressing device and thus during a pressing process, displacement, in particular sliding up, of the packaging to be compressed is reduced or prevented.
  • the second pressing surface is delimited in the pressing position by at least one mechanical stop.
  • the actuating device and the lever can be fastened in a non-rotatable manner relative to one another at a predetermined angle.
  • the lever effect is adjusted with the same force applied by the actuating device, so that the hand press can be individually configured depending on the height of the hand press or the size of a user of the hand press.
  • the flap device is rotatably mounted in the transition area between the first part and the second part. This enables a simple movement of the flap device, so that the flap device can be transferred from the starting position to the pressing position and vice versa with little effort.
  • the pressing device is reset automatically.
  • the actuating device can be returned to its starting position in a simple manner without additional force being applied by a user of the manual press.
  • the housing is arranged on a holding device, in particular a holding device which is height-adjustable.
  • a holding device which is height-adjustable.
  • a tilting device is arranged on the holding device, by means of which the housing can be tilted from a horizontal use position into an emptying position inclined relative to the horizontal. This makes it easier to empty or change the waste container, since it can be removed when the hand press is tilted away from the waste container without moving the hand press spatially to a different position.
  • the housing can be locked on the holding device and/or the tilting device. This prevents the housing from being removed from the hand press, in particular accidentally or willfully. A risk of injury, which can result from removing the housing during operation of the manual press, is thus preferably reduced or prevented.
  • a fastening device is arranged on the housing, to which a waste container, in particular a dustbin, can be fastened, so that the second opening of the housing leads into the waste container.
  • An actuating device 5 is arranged on the housing 8 and is designed as a hand lever in this exemplary embodiment.
  • a package 9, in particular a PET bottle as shown in this example, is arranged in or at a first opening 8a of the housing 8, with a second part 7b of a flap device 7 preventing the package 9 from penetrating into the housing 8 .
  • the housing 8 has a lock 10 with a locking bracket 6, so that the manual press 1 can be locked.
  • a lock 10 with a locking bracket 6, so that the manual press 1 can be locked.
  • the hand press 1 can be integrated for or in various disposal systems. Due to the safe to use, lockable and hygienic properties of the hand press 1, maintenance-free handling of the hand press 1 is made possible.
  • the housing 8 is tilted backwards so that the waste container 2 can be emptied or replaced.
  • the housing 8 is arranged on a holding device 4, which is preferably connected to the base plate 3, or a tilting device 23 is also arranged on the holding device 4, by means of which the housing 8 can be tilted from a horizontal use position into an emptying position inclined relative to the horizontal is.
  • This tilting device 23 can also be blocked or shut off by means of the locking device 10 or the locking clip 6, so that an accidental or intentional tilting of the housing 8 can be prevented.
  • the housing 8 is thus arranged on the waste container 2 in a removable or detachable manner, so that the housing 8 can be removed from the waste container 2 merely by means of a tilting movement.
  • the first opening 8a of the housing 8 is closed by means of the first part 7a of the flap device 7, so that no packaging 9 can be introduced into the housing 8. Furthermore, the risk can also be reduced or minimized that a user gets into the interior of the housing 8 through the first opening 8a with a body part while using the hand press 1 .
  • a second opening 8b of the housing 8 is visible, this opening when the housing 8, as in FIG 1 shown, is in the position of use, into the interior of the waste container 2 leads.
  • a Waste bag 12 inside the waste bin 2 is a Waste bag 12.
  • a holder 41 on the waste container 2 by means of which a waste bag 12 can preferably be clamped in the waste container 2.
  • the design of the hand press 1 makes it possible to integrate it into existing collection systems without restricting the functionality of the waste containers 2 previously used.
  • FIG. 3 shows a third exemplary embodiment of a hand press 1 according to the invention.
  • an extendable fastening device 13 is arranged on the housing 8, to which a waste container 2, in particular a waste bag 12, can be attached, so that the second opening 8b of the housing 8 leads into the waste container 2 when the housing 2 is in the use position.
  • a chamber 11 is arranged below the housing 8, in which the waste container 2 is preferably located during the operation of the hand press 1.
  • This housing 8 can be closed by means of a door 14 which can be locked by the lock 10 .
  • FIG 4 shows a fourth exemplary embodiment of a hand press 1 according to the invention.
  • This illustration shows a cross section of the housing 8, with the various devices of the hand press 1 being shown in different positions.
  • the transition of the flap device 7 from an initial position to a pressing position is shown, with two further intermediate positions being evident.
  • the actuating device 5 which is designed as a hand lever, leads here to a rotary shaft 26, which is connected to a lever 19, this lever 19 being rotatably mounted with a pressing device 15.
  • the actuating device 5 and the lever 19 can be fastened in a non-rotatable manner relative to one another at a predetermined angle.
  • the pressing device 15 arranged on the lever 19 has a first pressing surface 15a, which forms a wedge-shaped pressing chamber 42 with a second pressing surface 7b of the flap device 7, which represents the second part of the flap device 7.
  • a packaging 9 in particular, as shown in this example, a PET bottle, which is at least partially held in the area of the tip of the wedge-shaped pressing chamber 42 by the first pressing surface 15a and the second pressing surface 7b .
  • this also moves the flap device 7 in such a way that the first part 7a of the flap device 7 at least partially opens the first opening 8a of the housing 8 closes and the packaging 9 is compressed between the first pressing surface 15a and the second pressing surface 7b.
  • the pressing device 15 has at least one pin 27 which is arranged on the pressing device 15 and which is guided in a, in particular predetermined, radial cam track 28 .
  • This arrangement ensures, in particular, that the pressing device 15 rotates more strongly when passing through the pin 27 in a first area of the curved track 28 than in a second area of the curved track 28, so that the first pressing surface 15a and second pressing surface 7b are almost parallel in the pressing position , in particular parallel to each other.
  • the lever 19 which is arranged on the rotary shaft 26 and is rotatably mounted with the pressing device 15 is preferably located on both sides of the actuating device 5 .
  • the first pressing surface 15a is preferably curved and/or angled toward the second pressing surface 7b. As in 4 As can be seen, this is achieved in that the packaging 9 cannot slip through the pressing chamber 42 without being compressed. Furthermore, the second pressing surface 7b of the flap device 7 is preferably limited in the pressing position by at least one mechanical stop 29, so that overpressing the actuating device 5 is reduced or prevented. In addition, there is a pressure plate 17 in the area of the tip of the wedge-shaped pressing chamber 42, which is also used as a pressure surface for the second pressure surface.
  • figure 5 shows a fifth exemplary embodiment of a manual press 1 according to the invention.
  • the essentially Z-shaped flap device 7 is shown in two different positions in this illustration.
  • the first part 7a of the flap device 7 is arranged partially outside of the housing 8, so that a package 9 can be inserted into the first opening 8a of the housing 8, the position of the flap device 7 preventing the package 9 from moving downwards since the second pressing surface 7b of the flap device 7 is inclined upwards.
  • the pressing device 15 is inclined or moved to the left, whereby the flap device 7 rotates clockwise as indicated by the sector of a circle.
  • the first pressing surface 15a touches the second pressing surface 7b in such a way that it is also moved due to the rotary movement of the pressing device 15 .
  • the flap device 7 Due to the double function of the flap device 7 - on the one hand to convey the packaging 9 into the pressing chamber 42 and on the other hand to use the second part of the flap device 7 as a second pressing surface 7b when the first opening 8a of the housing 8 is closed - it is no longer possible to press the pressing chamber 42 to open again during the pressing process or that this is open. In addition, however, the pressing chamber 42 is also inaccessible for arranging the packaging 9 at the first opening 8a of the housing 8 .
  • the flap device 7 remains blocked for the filling of the pressing chamber by the pressing device 15 moving in the pressing chamber 42 - for example, if the actuating device 5 is actuated willfully by a person.
  • the first part 7a of the flap device 7 also blocks a movement of the pressing device 15 during the opening of the first opening 8a of the housing 8.
  • the radial center point of the cam track 28 does not correspond to the center point of the axis of the rotary shaft 26 .
  • first pressing surface 15a and second pressing surface 7b are preferably at least partially uneven and/or have an anti-slip structure.
  • the actuating device 5 is also mechanically blocked in the opposite direction, in that the lever 19 cannot be rotated any further due to the rear wall 25 of the housing.
  • the pressing device guides 18 projecting laterally in the housing 8 and a pressing chamber end plate 24 fitted just above the pressing device 15 serve as additional devices for stripping off a wedged packaging 9.
  • a package 9 that enters the housing 8 via the first opening 8a can be compressed by means of the flap device 7 and the pressing device 15, and then when the flap device 7 transitions from the pressing position to the starting position, the housing 8 can be compressed via the second Leave opening 8b, so that the packaging 9 preferably enters the waste container 2.
  • FIG. 6 shows a sixth exemplary embodiment of a hand press 1 according to the invention.
  • the hand press 1 can preferably be arranged flush and therefore hygienically on the waste container 2, with the hand press 1 being connected via the holding device 4 attached to the rear together with the tilting device 23, which is designed as a support hinge in this illustration the holding device 4 is rotatably connected.
  • a difference in height of the waste container 2 can be compensated for by a height-adjustable latching piece 34 .
  • a locking pin 21 is arranged on the tilting device 23 and is locked in place during operation of the hand press 1 . In this position, the tilting device 23 blocks the lifting of the hand press 1 and thus prevents the removal of the waste container 2.
  • a locking bolt drive 20 leads centrally into the interior of the housing 8 and is subsequently guided back out of the housing 8 via a crossbar.
  • Two tie rods 32 connected to the locking bracket 6 lead from the front side of the housing 8 to this crossbar.
  • An adjustable connecting piece 30 closes the power flow from the locking bolt 21 to the locking bracket 6 on both sides.
  • the locking bracket 6 is additionally equipped with a locking pin in the middle, which is guided into the housing 8 via a guide tube connected to the front side of the housing 8 .
  • the lock 10 is attached below this central pin guide, which allows the folding up of the housing 8 by pulling out the locking bracket 6 after unlocking.
  • the locking pin 21 is spring-mounted and snaps back into place in the desired position after the housing 8 has been folded up.
  • the latching piece 34 on the tilting device 23 is constructed in such a way that when the housing 40 is mounted on a wall, it cannot come into contact with the wall. During the disposal of the packaging 9, the locking pin 21 can be locked again to be on the safe side.
  • the hand press 1 can or must be detachably connected either to the floor or to the rear wall.
  • the actuating device 5 transmits the manual force of the user to the rotary shaft 26 via a preferably detachable screw connection, from which it is transmitted via the lever 19 to the pressing device 15 .
  • Pressing device 15 takes place automatically via at least one spring device 37 , here two spring devices 37 .
  • a respective tension spring holder 38 is attached to the housing 8 .
  • Figure 8a as well as Figure 8b show a summary of an eighth exemplary embodiment of a manual press 1 according to the invention.
