As a result, the adjustment can be made by just one fitter.
  • the door frame stop preferably protrudes laterally from the rod stop. This makes it possible that when the door is open, the door frame stop on the door frame rests while the rod stop rests against the espagnolette rod. This makes adjustment particularly easy. In particular, when the door is open, the fitter can grasp the handle area. It is conceivable that the door frame stop is at least 5 mm, preferably at least 8 mm, particularly preferably at least 10 mm away from the side of the rod stop. It is conceivable that the door frame stop is at least 4 mm, preferably at least 6 mm, particularly preferably at least 8 mm away from the handle area. This makes it easier to change your grip.

  • the mounting cap is particularly preferred monolithic.
  • the mounting cap can be an injection molded part.
  • the espagnolette rod is first pushed into the door leaf and inserted into the lock, which is also already inserted into the door leaf.
  • the mechanic sees how the espagnolette rod projects beyond the door leaf and thus the length of the espagnolette rod relative to the door frame.
  • the espagnolette rod is moved further into the lock or further out of the lock, so that the protruding length of the espagnolette rod changes. This is set precisely with the help of the mounting cap.
  • the mounting cap with the rod holder is placed on the upper end of the espagnolette rod protruding from the door leaf.
  • the mounting cap has the rod mount.
  • the mounting cap is pushed onto the espagnolette rod until the front end of the espagnolette rod is in contact with the rod stop.
  • This rod stop is used for a defined position of the front end of the espagnolette rod relative to the door frame stop.
  • the installer can move the mounting cap together with the espagnolette rod until the door frame stop of the mounting cap strikes the downward-facing side of the door frame. Because the espagnolette rod is in contact with the rod stop at the same time, the distance is set. The espagnolette rod can be or will be fixed in this position. • the length of the espagnolette rod can be adjusted by turning the mounting cap.
  • the espagnolette rod can be temporarily held and thus adjusted by engaging in the internal thread of the fastening element.
  • the espagnolette rod can then be permanently secured in length by the fastening means. When the door is operated without being secured by the fastening means, the espagnolette rod could twist and thus change its length.
  • the lock can be designed without the fastener.
  • the mounting cap can be used in a lock that is not designed according to claim 1, although the mounting cap is particularly preferably used when mounting a lock according to one of claims 1 to 10. For example, it may be that screwing the espagnolette rod into an internal thread of the fastener is considered sufficient for permanent length adjustment.
  • the fastening element When adjusting the espagnolette rod, the fastening element is in particular in the second position.
  • the installer pushes the espagnolette rod during the adjustment so that the fastener moves to the second position and remains there. • the fastener 15 of the opening 38 is opposite in the retracted position of the espagnolette rod.
  • the fastener 10 is located in figure 17 in the first position.
  • the end face 39 of the built-in element 37 extends along the path of movement of the fastener 15. The end face 39 is thus the Fastening means 15 in the first position of the fastener 10 opposite.
