Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a folding box made of cardboard, consisting of a blank forming four side surfaces and a lid and bottom of a cuboid, as well as a packaging unit for blister packs, in particular blister packs containing toothbrushes, with such a folding box.
  • Cuboid folding boxes made of cardboard are generally known as packaging, the cuboid being formed by folding a blank.
  • the blank usually has several surface segments that are separated from one another by fold lines that form the edges of the cuboid.
  • a fastening tab which is formed on one side of the blank, is glued to the edge of an opposing surface segment, which results in four circumferential side surfaces of the cuboid.
  • Surface segments connected to these side surfaces of the cuboid by fold lines form the cover and / or the bottom of the cuboid, which can be closed by folding along the fold lines.
  • SRP Shelf Ready Packaging
  • These have a folding box of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is provided with a separate bottom part.
  • the bottom part is designed to position goods that are received in the folding box and is usually attached to the folding box with the aid of adhesive tape.
  • Known configurations of such a bottom part are corrugated cardboard blanks, deep-drawn parts made of plastic or injection-molded trays.
  • the SRPs usually have a perforation on the box, which makes it possible to separate the upper part so that the goods do not have to be removed from the SRP by the sales staff and the customer can access the goods directly.
  • the SRPs are often referred to as secondary packaging, as the goods usually consist of a primary-packaged product.
  • toothbrushes are nowadays always primarily packaged in a so-called blister pack.
  • blister packaging is a visual packaging that allows the customer or buyer to see the packaged product.
  • the product is usually presented in front of a cardboard back wall printed with information and fixed with a plastic molded part.
  • folding boxes are in need of improvement, since a base part for positioning goods has to be produced separately, connected to the folding box and separated from it again for recycling. More folding boxes are out GB 2 511728 and DE 10 2009 042171 known.
  • the present invention is based on the problem of specifying an improved folding box made of cardboard which consists of a single blank forming a cuboid and offers the possibility of positioning elements to be received, in particular blister packs with toothbrushes, within a receiving space formed by the folding box.
  • a folding box made of cardboard according to claim 1 is defined in the present invention.
  • This folding box consists of a blank that forms four sides, lid and bottom of a cuboid.
  • Recyclable cardboard with a cardboard weight of 200 to 800 g / m 2 is usually used as the starting material.
  • a layer of paper can be applied to one side of the cardboard box.
  • the blank is divided into four main areas and one fastening area by four main fold lines.
  • the main surfaces each have a main surface segment which, after the fastening surface has been fastened to an edge section of an opposite main surface, each forms one of the usually circumferential side surfaces of the cuboid.
  • the fastening surface is usually glued over the entire surface to an edge section of the opposite main surface.
  • the blank has several secondary fold lines, of which one of the secondary fold lines connects one of the main surface segments with an adjoining secondary surface segment.
  • the minor fold lines are arranged transversely, usually orthogonally, to the major fold lines.
  • One or more of the secondary surface segments each form the cover and the bottom of the cuboid.
  • the main fold lines and the secondary fold lines run correspondingly along the edges of the cuboid.
  • the secondary surface segment has a fold line running over the secondary surface segment orthogonally to the webs, in which the secondary surface segment can be folded in such a way that the webs form several receiving compartments protruding from the bottom within the folding box.
  • the secondary surface segment is usually folded inwards at the fold line, that is to say in the direction of a receiving space defined by the main surface segments.
  • protruding from the bottom is therefore to be understood in particular as an extension from the inside of the bottom in the direction of the receiving space of the folding box.
  • One receiving compartment is assigned to each column of the secondary surface segment.
  • the receiving compartments are arranged in a row one behind the other or next to one another.
  • a receiving compartment usually receives at least one edge area of a primary packaging containing a product, so that the product in the primary packaging is positioned and held by the receiving compartment delimited by two webs within the folding box.
  • the receiving compartments are preferably dimensioned in such a way that the product or the primary packaging can be pushed into a receiving compartment and held upright therein, in particular can be positioned in a form-fitting manner.
  • the present invention simplifies the production of a folding box with positioning aids, since the folding box is formed in one piece from a single blank.
  • the blank can be cut, folded and glued by machine.
  • This also reduces the material consumption, in particular compared to the use of a plastic part.
  • the folding box according to the present invention does not have to be separated for recycling.
  • the folding box according to the present invention has certain preferred size ratios. These are given below in this paragraph.
  • the dimension of a flat element in the direction of the greatest expansion direction is designated as the length and the dimension in the direction orthogonal to the length is designated as the width.
  • Two opposite side surfaces of the cuboid or the main surface segments forming the folding box have the same length and the same width.
  • the width of adjacent main surface segments preferably differs by a factor between 2.5 and 10.0. The factor is particularly preferably 2.75 or 3.0 or 3.25.
  • the main surface segments however, have the same length, which corresponds to the height of the folding box standing on the floor.
  • the narrower main surface segments are preferably at least 2.5 times, particularly preferably at least 3.0 times, as long as they are wide.
  • the length of the webs essentially corresponds to the length of the columns.
  • the width of the webs is preferably at least twice as large as the width of the columns.
  • the width of the webs is preferably smaller or equal to 1/8 the length of the minor surface segment.
  • the length of the webs is preferably at least 30%, more preferably 35%, and particularly preferably 38% of the width of the secondary surface segment.
  • the secondary surface segment which has the multiplicity of parallel webs which each enclose gaps between them, is preferably molded onto one of the wider main surface segments.
  • the gaps are usually interruptions in the secondary surface segment. Such interruptions are usually created by punching a continuous area out of the cardboard or breaking it out along a perforation line.
  • the interruptions are elongated in nature with a certain gap width.
  • the gap width is preferably less than half of the longitudinal extent of the interruption, particularly preferably less than a third.
  • the gap width does not have to be constant over the elongate extent of the interruption and can vary.
  • the minimum gap width preferably corresponds to at least the smallest dimension of a blister pack containing at least one toothbrush and provided for receiving in the folding box in one direction of the space.
  • this smallest dimension of the blister pack is the thickness of the blister pack at its thinnest point.
  • the maximum gap width preferably corresponds at most to the greatest thickness of a blister pack containing at least one toothbrush and provided for receiving in the folding box.
  • the elongated extent of the interruption preferably corresponds at most to the width of a blister pack containing at least one toothbrush and provided for receiving in the folding box.
  • the width of such a blister pack is commonly referred to as the extent in the direction of the second largest spatial extent.
  • the gaps are particularly preferably designed in such a way that a plastic molded part of a blister pack containing at least one toothbrush and placed in a receiving compartment is elastically pressed in by two webs enclosing a gap between them or that only one sealing edge of the blister pack is enclosed between two webs.
  • the columns are spaced apart by an outer strip from an edge of the blank and by an inner strip to a secondary fold line arranged between the main surface segment and the secondary surface segment having the gaps.
  • the strips extend transversely to the length of the columns and parallel to the secondary fold line.
  • the length of the strips preferably corresponds essentially to the length of the secondary surface segment.
  • the inner strip and the outer strip preferably have the same width. This makes the possibility created to form the receiving compartments by simply folding surface segments. Because the columns and the webs are surrounded on both sides by the strips of cardboard and are thereby spaced from the edges of the secondary surface segment, improved stability of the receiving compartments can also be achieved.
  • the gaps are designed to be widened in the direction of the outer strip.
  • the gap is wider at the outer stripe than in the middle between the outer and inner stripe.
  • the gaps are trapezoidal at their end on the side of the outer strip.
  • the columns can often widen by at least 1.75 times compared to the width at the height of the middle of the columns. The widening described causes, for example, a conical opening of the receiving compartment in the insertion direction from above into the receiving compartment in the direction of the bottom and makes it easier to insert the primary packaging into the receiving compartments.
  • the inner strip at least partially forms the base, and the outer strip rests against an inner surface of one of the main surface segments that delimits the receiving space within the folding box.
  • This main surface segment is preferably that which is connected to the secondary surface segment having the strips via one of the secondary fold lines.
  • the outer strip is preferably in contact with the inner surface of the main surface segment without adhesive, in particular over the entire surface.
  • the glue-free system allows the folding box to be manufactured more easily, since there is no need for a gluing step. Adhesive material can also be saved and the folding box can be disposed of according to type.
  • the bottom of the folding box is usually formed by the inner strip and at least one further secondary surface segment, which overlap and preferably rest against one another with parallel extension, the inner strip being on the inside of the bottom.
  • the bottom can also be formed only by the secondary surface segment having the gaps.
  • the inner strip usually forms the bottom.
  • the inner strip is connected to the webs via the fold line.
  • a first section of the webs then extends in the direction of the receiving space, usually along and parallel to the main surface segment which is opposite the main surface segment on which the inner strip is formed.
  • a second section of the webs connected to the first section via a second fold line extends within the receiving space preferably parallel to the inner strip and at a distance from the inner strip which corresponds to the length of the first section of the webs.
  • the second section of the webs usually goes into over the outer strip, which usually extends parallel to the main surface segment on which the inner strip is formed, and is preferably glued to it.
  • two auxiliary fold lines are provided along the connection of the strips with the webs. This means that the columns are delimited on both sides in the longitudinal direction by the auxiliary folding lines.
  • the webs are kink-free and in the sectional view of the secondary surface segment having the webs and the adjacent main surface segment provided and directly connected to it, which extends parallel to the webs, preferably form a connecting line between the secondary surface segment having the webs and the one connected to it via one of the secondary fold lines Main surface segment.
  • the connection point of this connecting line with the inner strip in the sectional view is preferably spaced from the inner surface of the main surface segment by at least 10%, more preferably by at least 15%, of the width of the narrower secondary surface segment.
  • the webs bridge the secondary fold line which connects the secondary surface segment having the webs to one of the main surface segments. This ensures that the outer strip is securely in contact with the inside of the main surface segment. If only one secondary surface segment is provided with a large number of gaps between enclosing parallel webs, the connecting line preferably connects the two wider main surface segments, usually in a line parallel to the bottom of the folding box.
  • the fold line runs on the inner strip and divides the inner strip into a first inner strip segment and a second inner strip segment, the first inner strip segment wholly or partially forming the bottom and being wider than the second inner strip segment.
  • the second inner strip segment is connected to the first inner strip segment to form a double-layered section, preferably glued or plugged together.
  • a detachable adhesive and / or adhesive connection is also possible.
  • the two inner strip segments extend parallel to one another.
  • the first inner strip segment is preferably wider than the second inner strip segment by a factor of at most 2.5.
  • the double-layer section increases the stability of the storage compartments and improves the preferably non-sticky contact of the outer strip on the inner surface of the main surface segment.
  • the folding box has two bottom-side formed on opposite side surfaces of the cuboid Secondary surface segments according to claim 1 or according to at least one of the above-mentioned developments.
  • the folding box has two opposing rows of columns, which are each aligned with one another, so that a receiving compartment is formed by two opposing columns.
  • Primary packaging or blister packaging can thereby be held and / or positioned on both sides on the bottom of the folding box.
  • two primary packs or blister packs can also be accommodated next to one another in a receiving compartment.
  • the folding box has a pull tab.
  • This pull tab runs around the main surface segments of the folding box.
  • the pull tab is limited by punched lines that only partially penetrate the box.
  • the punched lines only penetrate the carton to such an extent that the tear-open tab can be easily torn open.
  • the folding box can be torn open by pulling on the pull tab, whereby the folding box is separated into a lid-side part and a bottom-side part.
  • the part on the lid side is usually removed and the part on the bottom side, in which the primary packaging or blister packs are to be held, remains for product presentation.
  • the pull tab is usually also provided on the fastening surface.
  • the pull tab is interrupted in the circumferential direction by a recess in one of the main surface segments.
  • the recess is provided in one of the wider main surface segments. This allows the pull tab to be better gripped.
  • the recess is at least dimensioned so that one, preferably two, fingers of a user fit into the recess in order to reach behind the pull tab.
  • the tear-open tab is widened in the direction of the bottom on a narrow front end face of the folding box formed by a main surface segment.
  • the tear-open tab has a greater width at the widening than the otherwise essentially constant width of the tear-open tab.
  • the widening advantageously forms a visual indentation on the front of the folding box when the tear-off tab is torn off, so that the primary packaging or blister packs received in the receiving compartments, especially those provided adjacent to the widening, can be better seen by the customer when the folding box is on a sales shelf is granted.
  • the training makes it easier for the sales staff to check the fill level of the folding box. It goes without saying that the folding box is placed on the shelf in such a way that the narrower main surface segment with the widening of the pull tab on the shelf is at the front and the printing on the blister pack is visible through the widening.
  • the tear-open flap is designed to run obliquely on opposite broad main surface segments which connect two narrower main surface segments forming the front and rear sides of the folding box.
  • oblique means at an angle significantly greater than 0 ° to the main and secondary fold lines.
  • a front, narrower main surface segment between the bottom and the pull tab has a smaller extent than an opposing rear narrow main surface segment.
  • the inclined profile encourages the customer to remove primary packaging or blister packs from the narrower front side of the folding box from the front, narrower face, which makes it easier to check the filling level of the folding box.
  • the angle of the inclined section of the pull tab to one of the secondary fold lines is preferably 20-40 °, and particularly preferably 22-30 °.
  • the present invention specifies a packaging unit for blister packs with a folding box according to the invention.
  • the present invention has in view blister packs containing toothbrushes.
  • Each blister pack in the packaging unit according to the present invention is received in one of the receiving compartments.
  • the storage compartments enable an orderly and efficient arrangement of the blister packs in the folding box.
  • the blister packs stand on the floor.
  • the blister pack is received free-standing in one of the receiving compartments, so that the stability of the positioning of the blister pack does not depend on the number of blister packs contained in the packaging unit. This means that by removing a single blister pack, the position of the blister packs in the folding box is essentially not changed.
  • a blister pack is usually considered to be received in a receiving compartment if it is introduced with at least one edge region into one of the gaps between two webs. Usually the edges of the webs form a form-fitting delimitation for the blister pack.
