Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Sicherungsring (6) zur Transportsicherung eines auf einen aus Kunststoff gebildeten Behälter (2) in Form eines Eimers aufgebrachten Deckels (5). Der Sicherungsring (6) weist eine umlaufende Seitenwand (7) zum Umgreifen eines Randes des Behälters (2) sowie einen nach innen über die umlaufende Seitenwand (7) vorstehenden Sicherungsbereich (8) zum Übergreifen eines Randes des Deckels (5) auf, wobei die Seitenwand (7) und/oder der Sicherungsbereich (8) in sich geschlossen sind. An der Seitenwand (7) sind nach innen über die Seitenwand (7) vorstehende Rastelemente (9) zum Befestigen des Sicherungsrings (6) am Rand (10) des Behälters (2) gebildet. Zwischen der Seite der Seitenwand (7), an welcher der nach innen vorstehende Sicherungsbereich (8) gebildet ist, und den Rastelementen (9) sind Aussparungen (17) in der Seitenwand (7) gebildet. Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Gebinde (1), umfassend: einen aus Kunststoff gebildeten Behälter (2) in Form eines Eimers, mit einem Boden (3) und mit einer umlaufenden Seitenwand (4), einen Deckel (5) zum Verschließen einer an dem Behälter (2) gebildeten Öffnung, sowie einen Sicherungsring (6) wie weiter oben beschrieben, dessen umlaufende Seitenwand (7) einen Rand des Behälters (2) umgreift und dessen nach innen über die Seitenwand (7) vorstehender Sicherungsbereich (8) einen Rand des Deckels (5) übergreift.
