Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a use of an assembly kit, in which use an auxiliary assembly device of an assembly kit is mounted in a building wall and then an element, such as a box, can be mounted in the auxiliary assembly device.
  • Said element in particular the box, could also be a leakage protection device for a water dispensing device, such as a cistern, a fitting or a valve or part of a wall drain for z. B. shower water. It can e.g. B. also be a closed by doors furniture-like element, z. B. a mirror cabinet.
  • FIG. 1 Various mounting devices are known for mounting objects on or in walls, in the simplest case nails and screws for hanging or screwing, but also z. B. rail systems to be attached to a wall for system shelving elements.
  • a wall such as a drywall or a pre-wall in a bathroom
  • FIG. 1 Various mounting frames are known for mounting objects on or in walls, in the simplest case nails and screws for hanging or screwing, but also z. B. rail systems to be attached to a wall for system shelving elements.
  • z. B. WCs or wash basins can be freely suspended, where they hang in the assembled state on the one hand in front of the wall and on the other hand are anchored in the wall.
  • These mounting frames basically consist of vertical supports stabilized by cross struts, which divert the corresponding forces downwards to the floor and to which a sanitary object is in turn screwed.
  • the known mounting frames are covered by wall cladding, preferably first cladding with wall panels (drywall elements) and then further steps.
  • wall cladding preferably first cladding with wall panels (drywall elements) and then further steps.
  • a sealing layer and then a cladding with bathroom tiles, natural stone slabs or another wall design can be applied.
  • the DE 43 09 107 A1 describes the assembly of a furniture element by means of a furniture base frame in an opening of a planked wall, the furniture base frame being inserted into an opening after completion, including planking and tiling of the wall, in order to then be able to attach the furniture element.
  • the EP 2 896 756 A1 relates to the assembly of an element in a wall by means of a shell, with the shell being inserted into the wall after completion including planking and tiling of the wall.
  • the invention is based on the object of specifying a use of an assembly kit that is advantageous with regard to assembly in a building wall.
  • a mounting kit which mounting kit consists of an element to be mounted in a building wall and an auxiliary assembly device for mounting the element in the building wall, which auxiliary assembly device has plate elements, in which use the auxiliary assembly device is mounted in the building wall, with the plate elements of the auxiliary assembly device in the assembled state in a plane parallel to the wall define an outer contour of the area required by the element to be assembled from horizontal and vertical boundary lines, in the assembled state in a depth direction perpendicular to the plane parallel to the wall have at least the depth of the element to be assembled in this depth direction
  • a set of the element to be assembled and an associated assembly aid is provided.
  • the assembly aid is used to prepare for assembly and as assembly means. This is because the element to be assembled is attached to the correspondingly designed auxiliary assembly device after the auxiliary assembly device has been installed in the wall, that is to say the auxiliary assembly device is mounted first. It is designed in such a way that it marks the space required for this in the wall before the element is installed later. It therefore serves to keep it free and is intended to prevent other devices from being installed in the construction volume intended for the element inadvertently or due to a lack of coordination between different trades when it is due for assembly.
  • the assembly aid is intended to clearly outline the building volume that is no longer available, namely by firstly defining the space required by the element to be assembled by means of horizontal and vertical delimitation lines and secondly by means of the fact that in the direction perpendicular to the building wall (depth direction) the auxiliary assembly device is already present at least as deep as the element to be assembled. If z. B. only the area requirement would be outlined, could still be within this area requirement, but apparently far enough to the "rear", ie offset in the depth direction into the wall, z. B. an electrical cable can be laid across, which is then later because of the depth of the element to be mounted in the way.
  • plate elements of the auxiliary assembly device which, on the one hand, define the horizontal and vertical boundary lines in that the plate elements with their plates, that is, their flat parts, embody at least part of the corresponding lines.
  • the panel elements should have the required overall depth and thus make it clear.
  • the auxiliary assembly device thus offers an assembly means and at the same time a placeholder.
  • the panel elements protrude so far in the depth direction in the assembled state that a limitation results when the wall is clad with wall cladding panels, for example drywall panel panels.
  • wall cladding panels for example drywall panel panels.
  • these can be placed on the wall cladding panels in a horizontal or vertical direction.
  • Such wall cladding panels are usually delimited by horizontal and vertical edges and these delimiting edges play an essential role in the cladding because they prevent the panels from abutting one another or from panels to one end of the wall (e.g. the floor or the ceiling or an already existing other wall) and thus also the required recesses in the wall cladding.
  • the cladding panels can also be cut to size before they are brought into contact with the auxiliary assembly device; the auxiliary assembly device should, however, serve to keep a desired recess free for later assembly of the element when cladding and not to have to cut it out later from cladding panels that have already been attached.
  • the plate elements are preferably provided in the form of angle pieces for the corners of a rectangle formed from the vertical and horizontal delimitation lines, so that one leg of each angle piece in the assembled state is horizontal and the other is vertical and the horizontal legs of angle piece pairs with each other the horizontal delimitation lines and analogously, the vertical legs of (differently formed) angle piece pairs form the vertical boundary lines. It is possible that there is a gap between the legs.
  • the elbows can then z. B. each attached to a vertical support of a mounting frame or other support device in the wall. If z. B. remains a free distance between two horizontally adjacent such angle pieces, which is smaller than the typical dimension of a wall cladding panel, such a plate can be placed with a horizontal delimiting edge on both angle pieces.
  • gaps between the parts of the auxiliary assembly device that define the space requirement, such as the angle pieces each amount to at most 50% of the respective length of the outer contour to be kept free.
  • the respective leg lengths of the angle pieces together are preferably at least 50% of the distance between the actual corners defined by the angle pieces.
  • the elbows or other parts of the auxiliary assembly device usually offer enough contact surface for wall cladding panels. Preferred lower limits are 60%, 70% and 80%.
  • the legs of elbows is accordingly also considered to subdivide a distance between them by one or a plurality of individual parts, such as tabs, which in turn can again serve as a plant.
  • this applies in the plane of the cladding panels for the vertical direction, while the corresponding angle pieces are connected to one another in the horizontal direction, that is to say form a continuous side.
  • the elbows or other parts described can in principle be mounted independently of one another or, for. B. be connected in pairs.
  • the auxiliary assembly device has a circumferential frame so that parts defining the outer contour of the space requirement can thereby be held together and assembled together.
  • the frame is open for the assembly of the element to be assembled in the building wall and is designed to encompass this in the assembled state.
  • the plate elements can define a smaller distance from one another than the distance between the vertical supports predetermined in the wall in the wall plane as the space requirement.
  • the auxiliary assembly device according to the invention has contact surfaces for assembly on these vertical ones Supports that are horizontally spaced from the plate elements to the outside and z. B. can be screwed to the supports. In the exemplary embodiment, this applies to the top right and left.
  • a further preferred embodiment relates to at least one contact surface of the auxiliary assembly device that is parallel to the wall and is provided in addition to the plate elements and serves to fasten the element to be assembled.
  • This can be done by the element and by a wall panel, for. B. a typical panel plate of a drywall, and finally through said wall-parallel contact surface bolts are passed, in particular screws.
  • self-tapping screws can penetrate the contact surface parallel to the wall and cut a mating thread there in order to improve the hold of the screws (compared to screwing only into the panel plates).
  • the element to be mounted is preferably a wall box, which z. B. can have a furniture-like function or simply a shelf. It is also preferably closed apart from a front opening. Other possibilities were mentioned at the very beginning.
  • the form-locking device has a receptacle on the element or the auxiliary assembly device on the one hand and a projection on the auxiliary assembly device or the element for engaging the receptacle on the other hand, both of which can be braced against one another by a clamping device.
  • the projection can be inserted into the receptacle by moving the element and displaced therein in the depth direction up to an assembly position that can be selected in terms of depth setting or adjustment and is fixed by bracing.
  • the abutment surfaces running along one another can be structured in height (or one of the abutment surfaces), e.g. B. corrugated or toothed in order to produce the form fit through the tension.
  • this form-locking device is used to assemble the built-in wall box in an assembly receiving device, namely a watertight box, which in turn is accommodated in the auxiliary assembly device. If you imagine this box away, you can easily imagine an assembly of the installation box in the assembly auxiliary device by means of the form-fitting device.
  • the functions of the auxiliary assembly device and the watertight box could also be implemented in one part, that is, the auxiliary assembly device could also form a watertight box, in particular have a rear wall and be sealed on the front.
  • Another preferred embodiment also relates to a pin protruding outward with respect to the area that is kept free for engaging a hole in a mounting frame during assembly, the pin preferably being provided vertically, preferably downward and preferably in a plurality.
  • Figs. 1, 2 and 3 initially show an assembly aid, namely initially a closed sheet metal frame 1 with a wall in perspective (in Figs. 1 to 3 from below diagonally left) rectangular basic shape and portrait format.
  • the walls of this frame 1 are about 10 mm deep (without the front tabs 3).
  • the frame 1 also has a bent and circumferential flange 2 to the front, with six rectangular sheet metal tabs 3 being recessed from the flange 2 on each of its vertical parts and instead protruding forwards in the depth direction (vertical to the wall plane).
  • sheet metal tabs 4 also protrude to the front at the same depth at the top and bottom, but connect the respective uppermost and lowermost lateral tabs 3. These sheet metal tabs 4 are also recessed from the bent flange 2.
  • the sheet metal walls of the frame 1 together with the sheet metal tabs 3 and 4 form plate elements in the sense of the claims, which form angle pieces in the corners.
  • the plate elements merge into one another and form a closed frame; in the foremost level they are interrupted at the vertical edges in order to simplify manufacture.
  • the bent flange 2 can be produced from the same piece of sheet metal by means of simple punching and bending processes.
  • the distances between the tabs 3 are each less than a tenth of the total edge length, which is defined with one another by the respective tabs 3 on the right and left side.
  • the sheet metal frame 1 is followed by a downwardly open U-profile 5 (in perspective from the front), which has the depth of the sheet metal frame 1 and corresponds to the flange 2 in width.
  • a downwardly open U-profile 5 in perspective from the front
  • projections 6 which protrude vertically downwards relatively far to the front.
  • Fig. 3 shows the auxiliary assembly device, which is referred to here in summary with 7, in the assembled state between two vertical supports 8 of a conventional assembly frame for sanitary objects. But it could also be a drywall stand or something similar.
  • Two in Fig. 1 Supports 9 visible above and laterally beyond the sheet metal frame 1, which end in vertical contact surfaces 10 which are perpendicular to the wall. With these contact surfaces 10, the auxiliary assembly device 7 is in Fig. 3 screwed to the supports 8, the correct position in the depth direction being reached by contacting sheet metal pieces 11 at right angles to the contact surfaces 10 against the supports 8 from behind.
  • the assembly aid 7 sits in the lower area with the U-profile 5 on a frame 12 which is known per se.
  • frame 12 can, for. B. be used to mount a water mixer for a shower or the like and are in this respect in many cases already available.
  • a frame 12 can have openings on its upper side which have already been provided for other reasons, to which the above-mentioned projections 6 are adapted and in which they can accordingly engage positively (with respect to a horizontal displacement).
  • the elements 10 and 11 are only necessary in the upper area, these of course also below and thus z. B. can be provided a total of four times if, for example, no frame 12 is available.
  • z. B. a cross member can be mounted between the supports 8 and perform a similar function.
  • the sheet metal piece 30 protruding upwards at the rear at the top of the frame 1 also allows the assembly of a fire protection plate closing the frame 1 on the rear side if necessary.
  • the sheet metal frame 1 with its side walls and the tabs 3 and 4 in the as yet unfinished drywall keeps free a construction volume still required in the following.
  • due to its considerable depth (compared to the supports 8) it prevents the building volume from being obstructed with other facilities, in particular the laying of water or electrical lines through the building volume, which could later prevent the installation of the element actually to be installed.
  • the drywall or pre-wall can be built further in that the usual wall panels 8 are mounted as cladding panels in front of the supports 8, which are typically built in relatively large formats and with horizontal and vertical edges.
  • the tabs 3 and 4 are used to attach wall panels. The latter are pushed towards the straps 3 in the horizontal direction with a vertical delimiting edge and adjusted by abutting them. Conversely, panels with a horizontal delimiting edge can be pushed up to the tabs 4, specifically in the vertical direction.
  • the depths of the tabs 3 and 4 are dimensioned in such a way that they make up at most the thickness of the thinnest possible material of the panels. So they do not protrude over this wall cladding forwards in front, but in many cases remain behind the panels in the depth direction, which does not affect their function as a system.
  • a box 14 which consists of deep-drawn plastic and which is provided with three horizontally extending brackets 15 that surround it at the sides and rear. The brackets each end on the front side in end sections 16 parallel to the wall, each with a central mounting hole.
  • This box 14 forms an assembly receiving device in the sense of the above description and can, as Fig. 4 made clear to be pushed into the auxiliary assembly device 7. It is accommodated in it with a slight undersize (i.e. play), but is ultimately mounted on the panel wall 13 by screwing on by means of the mounting holes in the end sections 16 of the clamps 15.
  • a seal not shown in detail here, can be used to seal the gap between the assembly receiving device (the box) 14 and the auxiliary assembly device 7.
  • the flange 2 of the auxiliary assembly device 7 proves to be favorable here. It can e.g. B. self-tapping screws are used, which penetrate after passing through the corresponding panel wall of the cladding 13 in the flange and cut a mating thread there.
  • the flange 2 could also have corresponding holes or threads, the assembly then becoming somewhat more sensitive to adjustment.
  • the flange 2 could also be replaced by individual tabs, so in the plane of the wall laterally projecting tabs similar to the forward facing tabs 3 and z. B. between these tabs 3.
  • the panel wall 13 can then be provided with the uppermost wall cladding in a manner known per se, so z. B. with the interposition of sealing layers and the like.
  • the wall cladding can consist of large tile panels 17 as in FIG Fig. 5 or from natural stone slabs or the like consist.
  • the edge of the box 14 is dimensioned in the depth direction so that it protrudes at most as far as the end sections 16 of the brackets 15 or at most as far as the additional thickness of the thinnest possible material for the top wall paneling. It does not protrude over this top wall cladding forwards, but in many cases remains behind in the depth direction.
  • a built-in box 18 shown there can be inserted as an element to be assembled, the built-in box 18 having a flange that protrudes slightly outward to cover the edges of the uppermost wall cladding 17. In the fully assembled state, only this installation box 18 is visible. Assembly devices play a role that are already in Fig. 4 and also in Fig. 5 are shown and are explained in more detail with reference to the following figures.
  • Fig. 6 shows a detailed perspective view of the receiving forks 19 and the rails 20 in the same perspective as Fig. 5 and Fig. 7 shows a sectional plan view with a cutting plane which runs perpendicular to the wall plane and vertically.
  • Fig. 7 shows thereby somewhat clearer than Fig. 6 that the contact surfaces 21, 22 of the receiving forks 19 and the rail 20 running along one another are each toothed, the outer (in Fig. 7 left) area is toothless. This applies to roughly 20% of the respective length. If the toothed section of the two contact surfaces 22 (top and bottom) of the rail 20 runs along a still toothless part of the contact surfaces 21 of the receiving forks 19 at the beginning of the insertion, this facilitates the insertion. In the area of the actually intended assembly positions, in a somewhat more retracted state than in Fig. 7 shown, are again essentially the toothless sections against one another.
  • bevels can be seen at the input end of the contact surfaces 21 in the receiving fork 19 to facilitate the introduction of the rail 20.
  • the rail 20 itself also has a fork shape with two prongs 23, which can be spread apart in their width (vertically in the assembled position) by a wedge 24.
  • This wedge 24 has the shape of a rectangular nut and is in Fig. 7 in plan view and in Fig. 8 to be seen in section along the axis of an associated screw bolt 25, that is, corresponding to the section line CC in Fig. 7 .
  • the screw bolt 25 has a hexagon socket on an actuating head, which accordingly Fig. 8 is mounted on the opposite side of the wall of the installation box 18 on which the rail 20 is mounted. Accordingly, by tightening the bolt 25, the wedge 24 in Fig. 8 be moved to the left and press with his in Fig. 8 clearly recognizable wedge surfaces complementary sloping surfaces on the inner sides of the prongs 23 of the rail 20 apart.
  • the two prongs 23 are pressed apart, so that the teeth of the contact surfaces 21 and 22 engage one another and a form fit in the depth direction, that is, in the direction in Fig. 7 horizontally to the left or right. Accordingly, the assembly device from the receiving fork 19 and the rail 20 together with the bracing device in the form of the wedge 24 with the screw bolt 25 are referred to as a form-locking device in the sense of the above description.
  • the form-fitting device allows the installation box 18 to be simply pushed into the mounting receiving device, that is to say into the box 14, and thereby z. B. the front of the installation box 18 with a flange in a desired manner flush or otherwise to the tile cladding 17 can be adjusted. The desired depth can be easily selected and then fixed in that the actuating heads of the screw bolts are tightened from within the installation box 18, cf. Fig. 9 . This blocks the corresponding form-fitting devices.
  • the installation box 18 can be removed again the other way around, namely by loosening the screw bolts and pulling them out.
  • the screw bolt 25 holds the rail 20 on its in the wedge 24 Figures 6 and 7 right end and the rail 20 is held at its left end via a further screw bolt.
  • the actuating heads of the two screw bolts are used according to Fig. 9 as supports for here grid-like built-in parts 26, namely storage shelves.
  • the shelves have according to Fig. 10 downwardly directed U-shaped holding devices into which the operating heads of the screw bolts can engage.
  • the screw bolts thus fulfill a multiple function for holding the shelves 26 and for holding the rails 20 and at the same time, in the form of the screw bolt 25, for bracing the prongs 23 of the rail 20.
  • the assembly receiving device 14 also serves as a leak protection in this case, because it is also a waterproof plastic box which is sealed towards the front in a manner not shown. Note that there is a flange on the installation box 18, but not on the box 14.
  • auxiliary assembly device 7 can be fitted in the auxiliary assembly device 7 in a simple manner. This could also be used to fasten the assembly receiving device 14, that is to say the box 14, but this is not the case here.
  • the installation box 18 could also be mounted directly in the auxiliary assembly device 7, specifically also with analog form-locking devices.
  • the auxiliary assembly device serves firstly to facilitate the panel planking of the drywall, as explained above, and secondly to keep the corresponding surface area in the wall free, as already explained above.
  • auxiliary assembly device 7 could of course also be designed as a watertight box or the box 14, if it were provided with appropriate tabs or frame parts, could be installed as an auxiliary assembly device in front of the paneling.
