Definitions

  • the invention relates to a kit for a tub support for bathtubs or shower trays.
  • Tub supports or support systems for bathtubs or shower trays are known in various variants.
  • EP8700459 , EP723757 and DE20304886 each describe support systems for bathtubs, shower tubs or whirlpool tubs, which are screwed to the side of the building walls.
  • the disadvantage of this is that the sound decoupling from the wall is relatively expensive and complicated.
  • Such systems are also not self-supporting and are unsuitable for a free-standing bathtub, for example.
  • EP0116012 describes a prefabricated base element for bathtubs or shower trays comprising a metal frame with adjustable feet, which is clad with hard foam-mineral fiber composite panels.
  • the clad metal frame is filled with an insulating foam adapted to the shape of the tub.
  • Such base elements are self-supporting and have good sound insulation, but require a lot of space during transport or storage. They are also relatively expensive to manufacture.
  • DE20319410 describes a modularly constructed underframe for a tub, in particular for a shower tub, with a plurality of profiles and connecting elements which are connected to one another in plug-in connection and together with these form a frame for supporting an edge of the tub, as well as with a plurality of height-adjustable foot elements, that carry the frame.
  • the underframe only supports the surrounding rim of the bathtub. Direct tiling is not possible.
  • the system is also only suitable for relatively low-lying tub edges, for example shower trays. For bathtubs whose edge is 35 cm or more above the floor the underframe is not sufficiently stable and therefore unsuitable or would have to be attached to the building wall.
  • the support frame essentially comprises a central strut and a plurality of angled side struts arranged at both ends to support the tub bottom. Each strut is provided with a height-adjustable support leg. The tub edge is not supported with such a support frame and an additional tub edge support is necessary.
  • EP1175861 describes a device for holding a bathtub.
  • the device comprises a base plate projecting over the bathtub with vertical support struts attached to it. Cover plates are attached in front of or between the support struts. At the upper end of the support struts a ledge protruding in the direction of the bathtub is held.
  • the device is not adjustable in height and must therefore be mounted on a horizontal plane.
  • EP1844689 describes an installation device for bathtubs comprising a base plate, several laterally spaced support profiles and a circumferential frame which is attached to the support profiles and, together with the support profiles and the base plate, serves as a substructure.
  • the substructure is clad with apron-shaped cladding elements that are attached to the support profiles with fastening elements that are not visible from the outside.
  • This device is also not adjustable in height and must therefore be mounted on a horizontal plane.
  • the known tub supports are complex to assemble or even have to be manufactured at the factory, ie not on the construction site. In this case, they require a large amount of space during transport and storage, which leads to high transport and storage costs.
  • kit for a tub support with the features of claim 1.
  • the kit for a tub support comprises: (a) several stand profiles, each with an upper and a lower end and with a height-adjustable foot connection device integrated in the stand profile, arranged at the lower end, the height adjustment of which is preferably possible from the upper end, with the stand profiles having several corner stand profiles and optionally comprise several intermediate stand profiles; (b) a plurality of upper cross-connecting profiles for connecting the upper ends of the upright profiles to form a closed support frame and for forming a support surface for a tub rim; (c) several wall panels which can be fastened or received on the longitudinal sides of the upright profiles and the upper cross-connecting profiles; (d) several sound insulation feet that can be attached to the foot connection devices; and (e) at least one support device for supporting a tub floor.
  • the multiple stand profiles are aligned vertically and form multiple corner stand profiles and, optionally, several intermediate stand profiles arranged between corner stand profiles.
  • the upright profiles are connected at their upper ends to the closed support frame via the plurality of upper cross-connecting profiles, which are horizontally aligned in the assembled state.
  • the multiple wall panels to form the side walls of the tub support are also received between the upright profiles and the upper cross-connection profiles of the support frame and firmly connected to the upright profiles and the cross-connection profiles, so that a tub carried by the tub support is covered on all sides by a wall panel.
  • the several stand profiles are accordingly designed as two types, namely corner stand profiles for forming a corresponding corner of the tub support and intermediate stand profiles for intermediate support of straight side walls between two corner stand profiles as required.
  • a support frame which supports the tub on all sides, typically four sides, and thus encloses the tub on all sides.
  • the tub support can also be used for tubs with more than four sides or for round tubs.
  • the mounted tub support is rectangular with four corner post profiles and four side walls.
  • Intermediate stand profiles can be arranged between the corner stand profiles.
  • a tub support for a shower tub can have four side walls of approximately the same length, each of which is formed by two corner post profiles and optionally an intermediate post profile arranged in between.
  • the longitudinal side walls can have two corner post profiles and, depending on requirements, no or at least one intermediate post profile.
  • the end wall can have no or at least one intermediate stand profile.
  • the intermediate stand profiles are used in particular to improve the support of the side walls and are available when required.
  • the profiles i.e. upright profiles and cross-connecting profiles, are connected in the assembled state e.g. by means of screw, plug-in or adhesive connections and can thus easily be assembled on site to form a support frame.
  • Wall panels also ensure the necessary stability of the fully assembled tub support.
  • Such a tub support is self-supporting and does not necessarily have to be attached to a building wall. For structural reasons, however, an attachment can be appropriate.
  • a base plate is not absolutely necessary for stability and accordingly does not have to be present. If available, it can, for example, only be partially developed.
  • connection between wall panels and profiles can take place, for example, via a receptacle in the profile, an adhesive connection, a screw connection, a plug connection, a magnetic connection, or a combination thereof.

  • the threaded rod can have an attachment which is rotatably fastened to the threaded rod or can be rotatably received in a sound-absorbing foot.
  • the corner post profiles can each have at least two U-, T-, L- or H-shaped profile sections or combinations thereof at an angle to one another for receiving and / or fastening the wall panels, the angle being a respective angle between two adjacent side walls for a tub to be carried.
  • the angle is 90 degrees.
  • the angles are 90 or more degrees and are each adapted to the angle between the adjacent side walls.
  • the intermediate stand profiles can each have U-, T-, L- or H-shaped profile sections or combinations thereof for receiving and / or fastening the wall panels, arranged on opposite sides of the intermediate stand profile.
  • the kit can further comprise a plurality of lower cross-connecting profiles for connecting the lower ends of the stand profiles.
  • the wall panels are also loosely or firmly attached to these in the assembled state (e.g. in grooves). Overall, this results in an even more stable tub support.
  • the upper and / or lower cross-connection profiles can comprise upper and / or lower end-side cross-connection profiles and upper and / or lower longitudinal cross-connection profiles.
  • the long side and the front wall are often the same length.
  • the lower cross-connecting profiles can be dispensed with.
  • these can have no or at least one intermediate post profile.
  • the longitudinal wall of a tub support for rectangular bathtubs can have two spaced intermediate stand profiles.
  • all walls of a tub support for shower trays can have a centrally arranged intermediate stand profile.
  • the plurality of upper and / or lower cross-connection profiles can be U-, T-, L- or H-shaped, the wall panel being attached to and / or received in the upper and / or lower cross-connection profile in the assembled state.
  • the lower cross-connection profiles can be designed and fastened to the lower end of the corner post profiles in such a way that the corner post profiles can be pivoted out relative to the lower cross-connection profiles before the wall panels are fastened.
  • the kit can, in some embodiments, already have two prefabricated walls, e.g. the longitudinal walls, of the tub support, which consist of at least two corner post profiles, optionally at least one intermediate post profile, an upper and optionally one lower cross-connection profile and the necessary number of wall panels between the profiles are put together.

This makes it easier to glue the wall panel into the grooves in the upright profiles.
  • the upper and / or lower cross-connecting profiles can have bores which, in the assembled state, correspond to through openings of the intermediate stand profiles, so that the height-adjustable foot connection devices can be actuated from the upper end of the intermediate stand profiles.
  • the sound-absorbing feet can each have a sound-absorbing support element, preferably made of an elastomer, for sound decoupling between the support frame and the floor, which is received in a base, preferably made of plastic, for attachment to the foot connection device.
