Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a wall mounting device with which an element, e.g. B. a storage or storage box can be mounted on or in a building wall.
  • an element e.g. B. a storage or storage box can be mounted on or in a building wall.
  • Said box could also be a leakage protection device for a water dispensing device, such as a cistern, a fitting or a valve or part of a wall drain for z. B. shower water. It can e.g. B. also be a closed by doors furniture-like element, z. B. a mirror cabinet.
  • mounting frames For mounting objects on or in walls, various mounting devices are known, in the simplest case nails and screws for hanging or screwing, but also z. B. rail systems to be attached to a wall for system shelving elements.
  • a wall such as a drywall or a pre-wall in a bathroom
  • mounting frames are also in common use, with which z. B. toilets or wash basins can be attached freely hanging, hanging in the assembled state on the one hand in front of the wall and on the other hand are anchored in the wall.
  • These mounting frames basically consist of vertical supports stabilized by cross struts, which transfer the corresponding forces downwards to the floor and to which a sanitary object is screwed.
  • the thickness of the wall can also be foreseen in terms of its thickness in the depth direction (perpendicular to the wall plane), but not the exact thickness of a wall Cladding of the planking with z. B. tiles, natural stone slabs, etc. Accordingly, fine adjustments in the depth direction may be necessary during assembly.
  • the U.S. 3,620,404 A describes the assembly of a box in a wall using an assembly receiving device, namely a frame, which is anchored in the wall and receives the box by sliding the box. Lateral elastic hooks hook onto the box in sawtooth profile elements on the soffits of the assembly receiving device.
  • the US 2016/138251 A1 shows a connecting element for water pipes, which is adjustable as a result of the mutual engagement of sawtooth profile elements on its sides and on the soffits of a box-like receptacle with respect to this, specifically in a longitudinal direction in the plane of a wall in which the receptacle is to be mounted.
  • the EP 2 896 756 A1 describes the inclusion of a box-like element in a wall by pushing it into an assembly receiving device, with lateral and adjustable stop elements limiting the depth of insertion.
  • the present invention is based on the object of specifying a wall mounting device that is simple and practical in terms of depth adjustment for mounting an element on or in a vertical building wall.
  • a wall mounting device with an element to be mounted on or in a vertical building wall, a mounting receiving device for mounting the element therein and for mounting the mounting receiving device in the building wall, a positive locking device for mounting the element in the mounting mounting device, which positive locking device has: a Receptacle on the element or the assembly receiving device, a projection on the assembly receiving device or the element, specifically for engagement in the receptacle, a clamping device for bracing the receptacle and the projection against one another; wherein during the assembly of the element in the assembly receiving device, the projection can be inserted into the receptacle and can be displaced therein in a depth direction up to an assembly position of the projection in the receptacle, wherein the projection and the receptacle can then be braced against each other with the clamping device, through which Bracing the displaceability canceled is, so that the projection and the receptacle are no longer displaceable in the clamped state, wherein when moving the projection along
  • the wall mounting device comprises the element to be mounted and an assembly receiving device which facilitates the assembly of this element, a form-locking device serving to mount the element in the assembly receiving device.
  • the mounting support device can be mounted in a known and conventional manner in the building wall, for. B. by screwing into one of the aforementioned mounting frames.
  • the assembly receiving device can, however, also be embodied by such a mounting frame, so that the form-locking device is used to mount the element on such a mounting frame.
  • the interlocking device essentially has a projection and a matching receptacle as well as a clamping device for clamping the two against one another.
  • the receptacle is mounted on the element to be mounted and the projection is mounted on the assembly receiving device or vice versa.
  • the projection can be inserted into the receptacle and displaced in the depth direction, i.e. approximately perpendicular to the wall plane, the projection and the receptacle preferably already being mounted and the insertion and displacement happening by moving the element to be mounted itself .
  • the displaceability can then be canceled by bracing.
  • the assembly is thus completed, although an additional safety device or the like can of course be considered in principle.
  • the relative displacement between the projection and the receptacle includes a displacement ("running") of the projection with respect to a contact surface of the receptacle or, conversely, of the receptacle with respect to a contact surface of the projection.
  • this contact surface is structured in height, that is, modulated in a direction perpendicular to the displacement direction and towards the part (projection or receptacle) running along the contact surface or away from it, e.g. B. wavy or toothed.
  • This height structuring is adapted to the part running along the contact surface in such a way that it can be deformed (this is less preferred) or due to a complementary height structuring of this part even when it is moved along a plurality of parts due to its own singular shape (projection matching the toothing or waviness) moved from positions in which a form fit is possible.
  • the projection and the receptacle can "fit together" in such a way that the clamping device can produce and secure a form fit in the direction of displacement or in the depth direction.
  • the form fit does not exist or can only be canceled z. B. due to gravity, otherwise no displacement would be possible.
  • an adjustment in the depth direction can be carried out by moving, namely by setting the most suitable position and then fixing it with the clamping device.
  • the element to be mounted could with regard to a certain protrusion over a wall front to the outside or with regard to flush with the wall front or, after applying a wall cladding, only then to the actually existing dimensions (new) z. B. be set flush.
  • the invention thus enables adjustment and assembly by a movement in the depth direction with simple clamping.
  • the projection is preferably implemented by a rail and the receptacle is implemented by a receiving fork that matches the rail.
  • the rail fits between the prongs of the receiving fork.
  • Rail and mounting fork are preferably attached laterally with respect to the depth direction, so for a viewer standing in front of the wall z. B. left and right (and not up and down).
  • the prongs are preferably vertically spaced from one another and thus grip the rail approximately from above and below.
  • the tensioning device can act generally and specifically on the width of the projection, that is to say specifically on the rail, the term “width” naturally being understood in a direction perpendicular to the depth direction and preferably vertical.
  • the clamping device can be realized by a movable wedge that z. B. is moved by a threaded bolt and thus tensioned and engages between parts of the rail to press them apart.
  • the two rail parts can in turn form prongs of a fork shape, as the exemplary embodiment illustrates.
  • the threaded bolt preferably acts transversely to the depth direction and at the same time transversely to the direction of the width of the rail.
  • An advantageous embodiment provides accessibility of the actuating element of the clamping device, for example an actuating head of the threaded bolt, from within the element to be mounted. So you can z. B. reach into a box as an element to be assembled and use a hexagonal head or other actuating element there to release or tension the clamping device. This applies to the assembly itself, but also to subsequent removal and reinstallation processes.
  • the actuating element for. B. the head of the threaded bolt, take on a function within the element to be mounted to hold a built-in part, such as a support for a shelf in a box. This is also shown in more detail in the exemplary embodiment.
  • the height-structured design of the contact surface on the projection or the receptacle, which is oriented towards a form fit, has already been written above.
  • This contact surface is preferably corrugated or toothed with a series of (also rounded) teeth along the depth direction.
  • a height-structured contact surface can moreover be provided on both sides, that is to say on the projection and the receptacle (in particular the rail and the receptacle fork), the corresponding shapes naturally being intended to match one another.
  • the element to be mounted can, as already mentioned several times, be a wall installation box that is open at the front and otherwise closed. Other possibilities were mentioned at the very beginning.
  • the assembly aid in turn can also have a frame or box shape, with z. B. the box is then adapted in terms of format to this frame or the box.
  • the auxiliary assembly device does not necessarily have to be closed to the rear (with respect to the depth direction, i.e. on the side opposite to the wall surface), whereby it is preferably closed there and particularly preferably the auxiliary assembly device is overall watertight. Then the auxiliary assembly device can also serve as a leakage protection or other moisture protection in order to z. B. in the vicinity of a bathroom or another damp environment to avoid damage to inner areas of the wall by penetrating water. This is especially true for wooden structures, but also in principle z. B. for conventional drywall.
  • a seal can be provided around the front of the auxiliary assembly device (as a box), which seal relates to the transition between the box walls and the wall.
  • Figs. 1, 2 and 3 initially show an assembly aid, namely initially a closed sheet metal frame 1 with a wall in perspective (in Figs. 1 to 3 from below diagonally left) rectangular basic shape and portrait format.
  • the walls of this frame 1 are about 10 mm deep (without the front tabs 3).
  • the frame 1 also has a bent and circumferential flange 2 to the front, with six rectangular sheet metal tabs 3 being recessed from the flange 2 on each of its vertical parts and instead protruding forwards in the depth direction (vertical to the wall plane).
  • sheet metal tabs 4 also protrude to the front at the same depth at the top and bottom, but connect the respective uppermost and lowermost lateral tabs 3. These sheet metal tabs 4 are also recessed from the bent flange 2.
  • the sheet metal walls of the frame 1 thus form together with the sheet metal tabs 3 and 4 plate elements in the sense of the claims, which form angle pieces in the corners.
  • the plate elements merge into one another and form a closed frame; in the foremost level they are interrupted at the vertical edges in order to simplify manufacture.
  • the bent flange 2 can be produced from the same piece of sheet metal by means of simple punching and bending processes.
  • the distances between the tabs 3 are each less than a tenth of the total edge length, which is defined with one another by the respective tabs 3 on the right and left side.
  • the sheet metal frame 1 is followed by a downwardly open U-profile 5 (in the perspective from the front), which accommodates the depth of the sheet metal frame 1 and corresponds to the flange 2 in width.
  • a downwardly open U-profile 5 in the perspective from the front
  • projections 6 which protrude vertically downwards relatively far to the front.
  • Fig. 3 shows the auxiliary assembly device, which is referred to here in summary with 7, in the assembled state between two vertical supports 8 of a conventional assembly frame for sanitary objects. But it could also be a drywall stand or something similar.
  • Two in Fig. 1 Supports 9 visible above and laterally beyond the sheet metal frame 1, which end in vertical contact surfaces 10 which are perpendicular to the wall. With these contact surfaces 10, the assembly aid 7 is in Fig. 3 screwed to the supports 8, the correct position in the depth direction being reached by contacting sheet metal pieces 11 at right angles to the contact surfaces 10 against the supports 8 from behind.
  • the assembly aid 7 sits in the lower area with the U-profile 5 on a frame 12 which is known per se.
  • a frame 12 can, for. B. be used to mount a water mixer for a shower or the like and are in this respect in many cases already available.
  • Such a frame 12 can already have openings provided for other reasons have on its upper side, to which the above-mentioned projections 6 are adapted and in which they can accordingly engage positively (with regard to a horizontal displacement).
  • the elements 10 and 11 are only necessary in the upper area, these of course also below and thus z. B. can be provided a total of four times if, for example, no frame 12 is available.
  • z. B. a cross member can be mounted between the supports 8 and perform a similar function.
  • the piece of sheet metal protruding upwards at the rear at the top of the frame 1 also allows, if necessary, the assembly of a fire protection plate closing the frame 1 on the rear.
  • the sheet metal frame 1 with its side walls and the tabs 3 and 4 in the as yet unfinished drywall keeps free a construction volume still required in the following.
  • due to its considerable depth (compared to the supports 8) it prevents the building volume from being obstructed with other facilities, in particular the laying of water or electrical lines through the building volume, which could later prevent the installation of the element actually to be installed.
  • the drywall or pre-wall can be built further in that the usual wall panels 8 are mounted as cladding panels in front of the supports 8, which are typically built in relatively large formats and with horizontal and vertical edges.
  • the tabs 3 and 4 are used to attach wall panels. The latter are pushed towards the straps 3 in the horizontal direction with a vertical delimiting edge and adjusted by abutting them. Conversely, panels with horizontal Boundary edge are pushed up to the tabs 4, in the vertical direction.
  • another circular opening for a mixer fitting is drawn below the opening, but this does not play an essential role for the invention.
  • the depths of the tabs 3 and 4 are dimensioned in such a way that they make up at most the thickness of the thinnest possible material of the panels. In no way do they protrude forwards over this wall cladding, but in many cases remain behind the panels in the depth direction, which does not affect their function as a system.
  • a box 14 which consists of deep-drawn plastic and which is provided with three horizontally extending brackets 15 that surround it at the sides and rear. The brackets each end on the front side in end sections 16 parallel to the wall, each with a central mounting hole.
  • This box 14 forms an assembly receiving device in the sense of the above description and can, as Fig. 4 made clear to be pushed into the auxiliary assembly device 7. It is accommodated in it with a slight undersize (i.e. play), but is ultimately mounted on the panel wall 13 by screwing on by means of the mounting holes in the end sections 16 of the clamps 15.
  • a seal not shown in detail here, can be used to seal the gap between the assembly receiving device (the box) 14 and the auxiliary assembly device 7.
  • the flange 2 of the auxiliary assembly device 7 proves to be favorable here. It can e.g. B. self-tapping screws are used, which penetrate after passing through the corresponding panel wall of the cladding 13 in the flange and cut a mating thread there.
  • the flange 2 could also have corresponding holes or threads, the assembly then becoming somewhat more sensitive to adjustment.
  • the flange 2 could also be replaced by individual tabs, so in the plane of the wall laterally projecting tabs similar to the forward facing tabs 3 and z. B. between these tabs 3.
  • the panel wall 13 can then be provided with the uppermost wall cladding in a manner known per se, so z. B. with the interposition of sealing layers and the like.
  • the wall cladding can be made of large tile panels 17 as in Fig. 5 or consist of natural stone slabs or the like.
  • the edge of the box 14 is dimensioned in the depth direction so that it protrudes at most as far as the end sections 16 of the brackets 15 or at most as far as the additional thickness of the thinnest possible material for the top wall paneling. It does not protrude over this top wall cladding forwards, but in many cases remains behind in the depth direction.
  • a built-in box 18 shown there can be inserted as an element to be assembled, the built-in box 18 having a flange that protrudes slightly outward to cover the edges of the uppermost wall cladding 17. In the fully assembled state, only this installation box 18 is visible. Assembly facilities play a role that are already in Fig. 4 and also in Fig. 5 are shown and are explained in more detail with reference to the following figures.
  • Fig. 6 shows a detailed perspective view of the receiving forks 19 and the rails 20 in the same perspective as Fig. 5 and Fig. 7 shows a sectional plan view with a cutting plane which runs perpendicular to the wall plane and vertically.
  • Fig. 7 shows something more clearly than Fig. 6 that the contact surfaces 21, 22 of the receiving forks 19 and the rail 20 running along one another are each toothed, the outer (in Fig. 7 left) area is toothless. This applies to roughly 20% of the respective length. If the toothed section of the two contact surfaces 22 (top and bottom) of the rail 20 runs along a still toothless part of the contact surfaces 21 of the receiving forks 19 at the beginning of the insertion, this facilitates the insertion. In the area of the actually intended assembly positions, in a somewhat more retracted state than in Fig. 7 shown, are again essentially the toothless sections against one another.
  • bevels can be seen at the input end of the contact surfaces 21 in the receiving fork 19 to facilitate the introduction of the rail 20.
  • the rail 20 itself also has a fork shape with two prongs 23, which can be spread apart in their width (vertically in the assembled position) by a wedge 24.
  • This wedge 24 has the shape of a rectangular nut and is in Fig. 7 in plan view and in Fig. 8 to be seen in section along the axis of an associated screw bolt 25, ie corresponding to the section line CC in Fig. 7 .
  • the screw bolt 25 has a hexagon socket engagement on an actuating head, which accordingly Fig. 8 on the opposite side of the wall the installation box 18 is attached to which the rail 20 is mounted. • the two prongs 23 are pressed apart, so that the teeth of the contact surfaces 21 and 22 engage one another and a form fit in the depth direction, that is, in the direction in Fig. 7 horizontally to the left or right.
  • the assembly device comprising the receiving fork 19 and the rail 20 together with the bracing device in the form of the wedge 24 with the screw bolt 25 can be referred to as a form-locking device in the sense of the description above.
  • the form-fitting device allows the installation box 18 to be simply pushed into the mounting receiving device, that is to say into the box 14, and thereby z. B. the front of the installation box 18 with a flange in a desired manner flush or otherwise to the tile cladding 17 can be adjusted. The desired depth can be easily selected and then fixed in that the actuating heads of the screw bolts are tightened from within the installation box 18, cf. Fig. 9 . This blocks the corresponding form-fitting devices.
  • the installation box 18 can be removed again the other way around, namely by loosening the screw bolts and pulling them out.
  • the screw bolt 25 holds the rail 20 on its in the wedge 24 Figures 6 and 7 right end and the rail 20 is held at its left end via a further screw bolt.

  • the installation box 18 could in principle also be mounted directly in the auxiliary assembly device 7, specifically also with analog form-locking devices, and the auxiliary assembly device would act as an assembly receiving device according to claim 1.
  • the auxiliary assembly device serves firstly to facilitate the panel planking of the drywall, as explained above, and secondly to keep the corresponding surface area in the wall free, as already explained above.
