Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an arrangement for securing a bed occupant against falling out of a bed, in particular a care bed, the securing arrangement having at least one telescopic rail guide.
  • the safety arrangement is pulled out and the safety arrangement is also pushed in in two steps: first the third guide means are pulled out of the second, then the second are pulled out of the first guide means.
  • the safety arrangement is pushed in, the third guide means are first pushed into the second before the second guide means can then be pushed into the first. Pulling it out and pushing it in in two steps is perceived by some users as inharmonious and technical.
  • many users want an attractive design not only for the outside of the bed, but also for the function.
  • a securing arrangement which has two synchronizing mechanisms which synchronize a displacement of the first guide means to the second guide means and vice versa and a displacement of the second guide means to the third guide means and vice versa in the first direction and in a direction opposite to the first direction.
  • One mechanism works when the fuse arrangement is pushed in and the other when it is pulled out.
  • the second guide means or parts connected thereto are taken along by a web of material and pulled out.
  • the panel is attached to the first and third guide means.
  • the second guide means When pushed in, the second guide means is pressed down by means of a rope. With the web of material and the cable, two pulling elements are thus provided, with which either the pulling out or the pushing in is effected. Other elements also only work when pulling out or pushing in.
  • the object of the invention was to improve the safety arrangement in such a way that elements of the synchronization mechanism can be used for both pulling out and pushing in.
  • this object is achieved by two variants.
  • the two variants are described in more detail below.
  • the synchronizing mechanism according to the first variant has at least a first rack, a second rack and pinion gears meshing with the first rack and the second rack.
  • the first rack can on the first guide means and / or the second rack on the third Guide means can be attached directly or indirectly.
  • the toothed wheels of the toothed wheel gear meshing with the toothed racks are preferably rotatably arranged in or on the second guide means.
  • the gear train can have an odd number of gear wheels.
  • the toothed gear can be a spur gear.
  • the two gears meshing with the racks are preferably the first and the last gear of the spur gear. If the spur gear has an odd number of gears, the first and the last gear of the spur gear, which mesh with the racks, have the same sense of rotation.
  • the toothings of the first and last gear running in the toothed racks then preferably move the second guide means, to which the gear wheels are rotatably attached directly or indirectly, in relation to the first guide means in the same direction as they move the third guide means in relation to the second guide means .
  • the second variant of the synchronization mechanism has a first wheel, a second wheel and a traction element which is guided over the first and the second wheel, so that a rotation of the first wheel is transmitted to the second wheel and vice versa.
  • the traction member is looped around the first and second wheels in an eye rather than a figure of eight, so that the rotation of the first and second wheels is in the same direction.
  • the first wheel and the second wheel are preferably rotatably fastened directly or indirectly to the second guide means.
  • the first wheel may be non-rotatably and coaxially connected to a first gear and the second wheel may be non-rotatably and coaxially connected to a second gear.
  • the second variant of the synchronization mechanism can also have a first toothed rack and a second toothed rack.
  • the first gear can be the first Rack and the second gear can mesh the second rack.
  • the first toothed rack can be attached directly or indirectly to the first guide means and/or the second toothed rack to the second guide means.
  • the second variant of the synchronization mechanism can have at least one tensioning means, by which the tension element is tensioned.
  • the first wheel can be a V-wheel
  • the second wheel can be a V-wheel
  • the traction element can be a V-belt.
  • Known safety device has at least one locking mechanism with which the position of the first guide means and the second guide means relative to one another can be determined and/or the position of the second guide means and the third guide means relative to one another can be determined, so that the position of the guide means does not change either under load or due to of gravity can change.
  • the safety device is constructed in such a way that when the safety device is fully retracted, i.e. when the third guide means is pushed into the second guide means and the second guide means is pushed into the first guide means, neither the second guide means to the first guide means, nor the third guide means to the second guide means is fixed by a locking mechanism. Since both the second guide means and the third guide means rest against a stop in the lowest position, adjustment due to gravity or when subjected to downward pressure is not possible.
  • the invention was therefore based on the second object of improving a safety arrangement according to the invention in such a way that the safety arrangement cannot be unintentionally pulled out.
  • first guide means and the second guide means are an arrangement for securing a bed occupant against falling out of a bed, in particular a care bed, in a maximum retracted position of the second guide means and the second guide means and third guide means in one maximum retracted position of the third guide means can be determined with the locking mechanism. Due to the fact that the locking mechanism can be used to secure the safety arrangement against unintentional extraction even in the pushed-in position, unintentional extraction when subjected to an upward load is no longer possible with a safety arrangement according to the invention.
  • the locking mechanism of a security arrangement can have at least one bolt and at least one counterpart to the bolt, which serve to fix the second and/or third guide means of the retracted security arrangement.
  • the bolt of the locking mechanism can interact with one of the counterparts of the locking mechanism to lock the first guide and the second guide to each other and/or the position of the second guide and the third guide to each other.
  • the securing arrangement can have an override device with which the locking of the first guide means and the second guide means to one another in the maximum retracted position of the second guide means and/or the locking of the second guide means and the third guide means to one another in the maximum retracted position of the third guide means can be released can.
  • This cancellation means is advantageously coupled to the locking mechanism.
  • German utility model applications DE 20 2015 105 365 and DE 20 2015 105 367 solutions are known as to how a separate locking device with a lock or a lock integrated into a security arrangement can be used to prevent the second guide from being pulled out of the first guide and/or the third guide from the second guide. This may be necessary to prevent the bed occupant from being taken out of a bed by removing all of the securing arrangements from a bed Authorized is prevented from leaving the bed and is therefore fixed.
  • the lock disclosed and integrated into the security arrangement prevents parts of the security arrangement from being pulled apart in that a bolt is pushed through the guide means, which bolt prevents the guide means from being pulled out. This is only possible in one position of the guide means in relation to one another, namely in the maximum retracted position of the third and second guide means.
  • the lock is also located on a side of the bed that is easily visible. This does not contribute to a homely and attractive appearance of the bed.
  • the invention was therefore based on the third object of improving a security arrangement according to the invention in such a way that the security arrangement can be prevented from being pulled out with simple means, these means not being in the directly visible area if possible.
  • Blocking or decoupling which prevents the canceling means from acting on the locking mechanism, can effectively prevent the position of the guide means from changing relative to one another in a simple manner.
  • the blocking agent or the decoupling means are preferably arranged in the immediate vicinity of the canceling means.
  • the blocking means or the decoupling means can be provided in particular in an area in which a user grips the lifting means in order to actuate it.
  • the lifting means prefferably be activated by means of the blocking means in any position of the first guide means and the second guide means relative to one another and/or of the second guide means and the third guide means relative to one another, in which at least one latch of the locking mechanism and at least one counterpart to the latch for fixing interact can be blocked.
  • the blocking means in any position of the first guide means and the second guide means relative to one another and/or of the second guide means and the third guide means relative to one another, in which at least one latch of the locking mechanism and at least one counterpart to the latch for fixing interact can be blocked.
  • the blocking means of a safety arrangement can have a blocking element which can be moved between two end positions relative to the lifting means, the lifting means being freely movable in the first end position and the blocking means preventing movement of the lifting means in the second end position.
  • the blocking element can be a bolt which is preferably mounted on the lifting means or else on the first guide means, on the second guide means or on the third guide means so as to be displaceable in its longitudinal direction. To move from the first end position to the second end position, the bolt can first be displaced linearly in its longitudinal direction into an intermediate position and then be displaced from the intermediate position to the second end position by rotation about its longitudinal axis.
  • the blocking means or the decoupling means can have a lock and a key.
  • the blocking means can be set up in such a way that the blocking and/or releasing of the releasing means can only be actuated by means of a locking process carried out by the key, or the decoupling means can be set up in such a way that the decoupling and/or coupling of the releasing means from the locking mechanism can only be done by means of a made by the key closing process can be actuated.
  • the locking mechanisms are designed in such a way that they have a bolt and at least one counterpart to the bolt, which are used for fixing.
  • the bolt is then arranged, for example, on the third and/or second guide means so as to be movable transversely to the first direction and can be pushed into the counterpart by a movement transversely to the first direction. Movement between the guide means is then prevented by the form fit between the bolt and the counterpart.
  • a counterpart to the bolt is one of the guide means, in which recesses are provided, in which the bolt engages. These recesses are usually designed as through-holes, which means that the recesses can be seen at least in an extended position of the safety arrangement and that, in the extended position, they can possibly also receive protection, which makes it difficult to completely clean and disinfect the bed.
  • the invention was therefore based on the fourth object of improving a safety arrangement according to the invention in such a way that the outside of the bed is as free as possible of recesses and others Structures is that receive a latch of the locking mechanism.
  • the locking mechanism has at least one rod, the rod being arranged in a channel formed by the first guide means in the first guide means and/or in a channel formed by the second guide means in the second guide means and on or in the or the Rods are provided as counterparts to the bolt.
  • the rod or rods can have recesses or projections which form the counterparts of the latch.
  • the rod can be arranged in the at least one second guide means.
  • the rod can form a monolith with a holder for the first wheel, a second wheel or gears of the gear train.
  • the first guide means the from the document EP 2 052 707 A1 known fuse arrangement has a cross-section in part C-shaped profile and thereby forms a channel.
  • the second guide means is arranged to be linearly displaceable in the channel formed by the C-shaped profile.
  • the C-shaped channel makes it possible for two second guide means, which are connected to one another by one or more traverses, to be slidably arranged in the first guide means. The traverses reach through the slots of the first guide means, at least when the securing arrangement is fully pushed in.
  • the slot formed by the C-shaped profile can be bent open, in particular due to the inappropriate application of force when using the securing arrangement.
  • the guidance of the second guide means in the first guide means can suffer from this: The second Guide means can then no longer be guided well by the first guide means, with the result that the telescopic rail guide can rattle or tilt.
  • the invention was therefore based on the fifth object of improving a securing arrangement according to the invention in such a way that bending up of the first guide means is prevented.
  • a simple and uncomplicated operation of the safety arrangement requires that the telescopic rail guide can be pulled out and pushed in without tilting or the like. This requires that the guide means are precisely matched to one another. For this purpose, special attention must be paid when manufacturing the guide means that the intended dimensions are observed.
  • the invention was based on the sixth object of improving a safety arrangement according to the invention so that the interaction of the guide means works even better, especially if a guide means is not manufactured quite as precisely as is normally the case.
  • the telescopic rail guide has at least one sliding bush which is arranged between the first guide means and the second guide means or between the second guide means and the third guide means.
  • the sliding bush may have a tab arranged between a wall of the first guide means and a wall of the second guide means or a wall of the second guide means and a wall of the third guide means.
  • a threaded hole can then be provided in the wall of the first guide means or of the second guide means, into which a threaded pin or another screw is screwed, the tip of which rests against the tab.
  • the ones from the document EP 2 052 707 A1 known fuse arrangement is designed so that it can be covered from an outside with a side panel.
  • through holes are provided in the side walls of the first guide means, which make it possible to screw a side panel to the first guide means.
  • One of the through-holes namely one on the inside of the securing arrangement, is only used to insert the screw for fastening the side panel and a screwdriver for screwing this screw through the inner Guide side wall and the interior of the first guide means.
  • This through hole remains free after attachment of the side cheek to the securing assembly, allowing debris to enter the interior of the first guide means, which is undesirable.
  • the invention was therefore based on the seventh object of improving a safety arrangement according to the invention such that a side panel can be attached to the safety arrangement without openings being necessary in one of the guide means through which dirt can penetrate into the interior of the guide means.
  • the first guide means has at least one lug, to which a side panel is attached or can be attached.
  • this tab can have a recess through which a screw can be guided, with which the side panel can be screwed to the first guide means. If the side cheek is fastened to the lug of the first guide means, it is not necessary to provide holes in the side walls of the guide means through which dirt can penetrate into the interior of the guide means.
  • Bed exit alarm systems are used in many care facilities.
  • a bed exit alarm system can be used to determine that a bed occupant is leaving his bed. A care worker can then rush to the aid of the occupant if the occupant is known to be in need of assistance based on the bed exit alarm triggered by leaving the bed.
  • a bed exit alarm can also switch on lights in the room in which the bed is located is located, whereby this space is illuminated in such a way that the bed occupant can move safely in this space.
  • the invention was therefore based on the eighth object of improving a security arrangement according to the invention in such a way that bed exit monitoring is possible with the security arrangement.
  • the securing arrangement has a sensor with which the position of the first guide means and the second guide means relative to one another can be detected.
  • a safety arrangement according to the invention described above can have one or more eccentric levers have, with the help of which the securing arrangement can be attached to a support or a frame of a bed.
  • one of the aforementioned safety arrangements according to the invention can have a drive, in particular a motor, which drives the shaft directly or indirectly.

  • the bed can have at least one safety arrangement on a first side of the bed, on a second side of the bed, at the head end and/or at the foot end. It is possible for the bed to have one safety arrangement or two safety arrangements each on the first and/or the second side of the bed. If two securing arrangements are provided on one side of the bed, it is possible for one of the two securing arrangements to be provided approximately on one half of the bed facing the head end and the other of the two securing arrangements approximately on one half of the bed facing the foot end.
  • a safety arrangement according to the invention can extend over more than half of a side of the bed, for example around 2/3 or 3/4 of a side of the bed. If only one safety arrangement is provided per side of the bed, the safety arrangement is preferably arranged in a part of the bed facing the head end. In principle, the safety arrangement can also extend over an entire side of the bed.

  • the rod 151 has a plurality of recesses into which the bolt 18 can engage, it is possible to fix the guide means 1, 2, 3 in different positions relative to one another.
  • the locking can only be canceled by the bolt 18 being pulled out of the recess 1521 in which it engages.
  • the bolt 18 can be pulled out of one of the recesses 1521 in the rod 152 by means of a lifting means 21, so that the guide means 1, 2, 3 can be displaced relative to one another.
  • the bolt has a recess through which a slide 211 of the lifting means 21 passes.
  • the slide 211 is at an angle to the direction of displacement of the guide means 1, 2, 3 and, when the slide moves in the direction of displacement of the guide means, acts as an inclined plane on the bolt 18, which is thereby displaced and, in particular, lifted out of a recess 1511.
  • the slider is located at a lower end of a rod 212 which extends the length of the third guide means.
  • a handle 213 is provided at the upper end of the rod.
  • This handle 213 has a gripping surface on which a user can grip in order to pull the lifting means 21 against the pressure of a spring 22 upwards.
  • the spring 22 is supported on the one hand on the rod 212 and on the other hand on the upper part of the third guide means 3 , namely on an underside of the third traverse 9 .
  • the actuation of the cancellation means 21 can be prevented by means of a blocking means 23 .
  • This can prevent the guide means 1, 2, 3 from being displaced in relation to one another become.
  • the blocking means 23 has a bolt 231 as a blocking element, which is mounted on the handle 213 so that it can be displaced in its longitudinal direction.
  • the handle 213 has a channel as a guide.
  • the bolt 231 has a transverse bore in which a pin 232 is inserted.
  • the pin 232 protrudes beyond the bolt 231 laterally.
  • the channel in the handle has a first groove in which the protruding end of the pin 232 is guided when the bolt 231 is displaced.
  • a spring 24 is arranged between the bolt and the underside of the third traverse 9 and presses the bolt into a lower, first end position.
  • the bolt can be displaced against the pressure of the spring 24 until the bolt 231 strikes the underside of the third traverse 9 .
  • the bolt 231 can then be turned so that the overhanging end of the pin 232 merges into a second groove in the handle 213 extending at a right angle to the first groove. If the protruding end of the pin has come into the second groove due to the rotation of the pin, the pin 231 can no longer be moved in its longitudinal direction. If it is rotated in the second groove up to a stop, the bolt 231 has reached a second end position.
  • the bolt 231 cannot be moved into the first end position solely by the pressure of the spring 24 . To do this, it is necessary to rotate the bolt about its longitudinal axis so that the protruding end of the pin 232 comes into the area in which the first groove and the second groove are connected to one another.
  • the bolt 231 has a wrench flat designed to be turned by a wrench 233 of the locking means.
  • a torque can be transmitted to the bolt 231 by means of the key 233 in order to rotate the bolt 231 out of the second or into the second end position in order to release or block the lifting means.
  • a sensor 24 is provided at a lower end of the first guide means, which can determine the position of the second guide means 2 relative to the first guide means by means of a measuring method that is not described in detail.
  • the sensor 24 is connected to an evaluation unit (not shown) via a cable 241 which is routed through a cable gland 242 .
  • the securing arrangement according to the invention can in particular be attached to a longitudinal beam of a bed.
  • the securing arrangement has a c-shaped bracket 25 which is fastened to the first guide means 1 with screws.
  • the console is fastened to the first guide means 1 with a web 251, while legs 252 of the console embrace the longitudinal beam of the bed. Aligned bores are provided at the free ends of the legs 252, through which a screw 26, which is secured by a nut 27, is guided.
  • An eccentric lever 28 is arranged on the screw 26 and between the legs 252 . By rotating the eccentric lever, play between the screw 26 and the side member can be reduced to zero.
  • the movement of the guide means 1, 2, 3 of one of the two telescopic rail guides can be transmitted by a movement transmission means 29 to the guide means 1, 2, 3 of the other of the two telescopic rail guides.
  • the second securing arrangement corresponds to the first securing arrangement.
  • the movement transmission means 29 are additionally provided.
  • the movement transmission means 29 comprise a third and a fourth toothed rack 291, 292.
  • One of these toothed racks is fastened on the inside of one of the tabs 11 of the first guide means 1.
  • Each of the racks 291,292 is meshed with a gear 293,294. These gears have the same diameter and the same toothing, as do the third and fourth racks 291, 292 have the same toothing.
  • the two gears are connected to each other via a shaft 295, so that the rotation of one gear 293 is transmitted to the other gear 294 and vice versa.
  • the movement transmission means 29 transmits a pull-out movement or push-in movement from one telescopic rail guide to the other telescopic rail guide.
  • the two telescopic rail guides are always synchronized, which prevents the guide means 1, 2, 3 from tilting if the force for pushing in or pulling out the safety arrangement is only applied on one side of the safety arrangement.
  • the shaft 295 or one of the gears 293, 294 can be coupled to a motor (not shown). With such a motor, the securing arrangement can be extended and retracted by a motor.
