Definitions
- the present invention relates to a joint sealing tape and a sealing arrangement with such a sealing tape for sealing structural joints, in particular for sealing against noise and smoke and possibly against fire.
- the invention relates to the acoustic, smoke-proof and / or fire-proof sealing of connection joints in drywall, especially movement joints.
- connection joints are located in the connection area to the floor ceiling, floor and solid walls. Due to weight or thermal influences, the ceiling can be lowered or raised in buildings.
- the upper connection joint is designed as a movement joint.
- the ceiling profile is designed in such a way that a relative movement between the ceiling profile and the vertical wall components is possible.
- a U-profile is attached to the connection components, which is part of the stud frame.
- the plasterboard panels themselves are attached at a defined distance from the connecting component.
- the system is usually sealed in the gap between the plasterboard and the ceiling.
- a suitable sealing compound is introduced or the gap is filled with mineral wool and provided with a sealing layer on the surface.
- the material in the joint hinders the movement relatively strongly, with the consequence that the To achieve sufficient movement absorption must be worked with relatively large joint widths.
- Sealing the gap with sealing compound in particular has some disadvantages. It is particularly labor-intensive and the seal tends to crack if overused over time. Furthermore, the sealing can only take place after the plasterboard has been installed and requires access to the finished drywall on both sides. In addition, this procedure is prone to errors, since the user himself has to dose the correct amount of material in order to sufficiently seal the gap. In addition, the drywall specialist must dimension the width of the joint in accordance with the material and expansion properties of the sealing compound. When installing the sealant, only the joint can be filled. If the gap expands, it must be ensured that the sealing compound adheres sufficiently strongly to the substrate and can absorb the tensile forces that arise.
- a sealing strip made of soft, elastic material is known, from the one side of which protrudes longitudinally extending hollow beads located at the edges for sound-insulating sealing of an intermediate wall.
- a sealing tape according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from the DE 20 2008 008 266 U1 known.
- the sealing tape has a thin carrier sheet on the at least two Foam sealing tapes are applied in parallel at a distance, the foam sealing tapes being firmly connected to the carrier web over their entire width.
- the object of the invention is to provide a joint sealing tape which avoids the disadvantages of the known materials, which is in particular easier and safer to use, simplifies the assembly of further components and ensures a good seal even when it is being used.
- Another object of the invention is to provide an arrangement which, in the event of a fire, enables a better sealing of the joint between two components, in particular between a drywall and a connection component, such as a wall, a ceiling or a floor, and thus a better and permanent sealing against noise and / or smoke and, if necessary, provide better and permanent fire protection and can be installed reliably and error-free with less work.
- the invention makes it possible, by appropriate selection of the sealing materials, to set the correct distance from the plasterboard to the connection component, in particular to the floor, without additional aids.
- a joint sealing tape for sealing a joint between a first component and a second component, with an elongate carrier and at least two separate compressible sealing elements of a predetermined width, which are arranged spaced apart and running in the longitudinal direction of the carrier on one side of the carrier and the two opposite Broad sides as well as each have two narrow sides running transversely to the broad sides, connecting these, the sealing elements being arranged on the carrier with a broad side, which is characterized in that the sealing elements are in each case only firmly connected to the carrier over part of their broad side.
- joint sealing tape With the joint sealing tape according to the invention, unevenness of a component surface can be securely sealed when a component is arranged on another component, since the sealing elements of the joint sealing tape are pressed sufficiently firmly onto the surface of one component and at the same time against the side surfaces of the other component.
- the part of the sealing element which is firmly connected to the carrier forms an outer region and the part which is not firmly connected to the carrier forms an inner region, the respective inner regions of the sealing elements facing one another but being spaced apart from one another.
- the carrier has three areas, namely two areas on which the sealing elements are arranged, which form the two outer areas, and an area in between, which forms the central area.
- the sealing elements are preferably designed as strips and form a sealing strip.
- the sealing elements in particular sealing strips, have a rectangular cross section.
- other or mixed cross-sectional shapes are also conceivable and possible.
- the outer region and the inner region of a sealing element are not separated from one another, so that the sealing element is formed in one piece.
- the outer region and the inner region of a sealing element can define separate regions of the sealing element which have different cross sections and / or can consist of different materials.
- the outer area of the sealing tapes has a rectangular or square cross section.
- the inner area of the sealing tapes can have, for example, a rectangular, square, triangular or semicircular cross section.
- both the sealing elements and the carrier are chosen in accordance with the planned use of the joint sealing tape.
- the carrier of the joint sealing tape can consist of a film, for example a plastic film, of a fabric, in particular of a non-combustible material, such as inorganic fibers, for example glass fibers, a fleece or the like.
- the sealing elements consist of a deformable material.
- the material can be either plastically or elastically deformable.
- “Deformable” means that unevenness in the component against which the sealing elements are pressed can be compensated.
- “Plastically deformable” here means that the sealing elements are deformable and do not return to their original shape after the deformation.
- “Elastic deformable” means that the sealing elements are deformable and return to their original shape after the deformation, ie that the material can be deformed reversibly to a certain degree.
- the sealing elements consist at least partially, preferably completely, of a material that can be restored after compression, such as, for example, foam, cellular rubber, cellular rubber or the like.
- the sealing elements according to the invention preferably consist of a soft foam that can be restored after compression.
- Conventional foams such as polyethylene and polyurethane foam or cellular rubber can be mentioned as the foam material.
- the foam can be an open-cell foam with very low air passage resistance, as can an almost closed-cell foam with extremely low air passage values. Foams with air passage values that lie between the two extreme cases mentioned above can also be used in the context of the present invention.
- the foam can be impregnated with an impregnate, which increases the sealing properties of the foam.
- at least the outer surface of the sealing element should be designed with closed pores.
- the sealing element can be an open-cell material which is provided with a cover layer or casing, for example made of a film, in particular a plastic film.
- the cover layer or the casing can be formed by the carrier or by a separate material.
- the sealing elements consist of a slowly burning foam, such as cellular rubber or polyurethane foam.
- a slowly burning foam there is no possibility of fire spreading through the foam. Self-ignition is impossible with the above-mentioned foam raw materials. It is advantageous that there is no dripping in the event of a fire.
- a slowly burning foam should be at least 20%, at least 25%, preferably at least 30%, between 20% and 60%, between 20% and 40%, preferably between 25% in a temperature range between 500 ° C and 800 ° C. own up to 30% of its original volume.
- a slowly burning foam should be at least 10%, at least 20%, preferably at least 30%, between 10% to 40%, between 10% to 30%, preferably between 15% in a temperature range between 500 ° C. to 800 ° C. up to 20% of its original mass.
- the material can contain appropriate additives if fire protection properties, such as intumescence, are desired.
- "Intumescence” means that when exposed to heat, such as in the event of a fire, the material expands and forms an insulating layer of flame-retardant material.
- the formation of a voluminous, insulating layer, namely an ash layer can be formed by the chemical reaction of a mixture of corresponding coordinated compounds which react with one another when exposed to heat.
- chemical intumescence can be used according to the invention.
- the bulky, insulating layer can be formed by inflating a single compound which, without the chemical reaction between two compounds, releases gases upon exposure to heat.
- Such systems are known to the person skilled in the art under the term physical intumescence and can also be used according to the invention. Both systems can be used individually or together as a combination according to the invention
- the carrier alone is sealed against smoke and / or gases.
- the sealing elements can be made in one piece from one material or in several parts, also consist of several materials and can be present, for example, as a laminate.
- the positioning of the sealing elements on the connecting element can be done by means of attachment, for example in the form of an adhesive layer, in particular a self-adhesive layer or with a double-sided adhesive, in the form of positive or non-positive agents, such as suitable profiles, or by welding, such as. B. thermal welding or ultrasonic welding, or the like. Positioning of the sealing elements on the connecting element by means of an adhesive layer or welding is preferred. With one-piece joint sealing tapes, the positioning is predetermined due to the manufacturing process.
- the carrier for the sealing elements can in turn have means for attachment to a component, such as a drywall profile, for example in the form of a self-adhesive layer, in the form of positive or non-positive means, such as suitable profiles, or the like.
- a component such as a drywall profile
- a self-adhesive layer in the form of positive or non-positive means, such as suitable profiles, or the like.
- the joint sealing tape according to the invention is particularly suitable for securely sealing a structural joint between two adjacent components in a simple manner, in particular against sound and / or smoke and possibly also against fire.
- the areas with which the two components adjoin each other must be of different widths.
- another object of the invention is a sealing arrangement for sealing a joint between two adjacent components, with at least a first component, a second component with a U-shaped outer profile and the previously described joint sealing tape, the side with which the second component on the the first component bears a surface (F2) with a width (B2) and the first component has a surface (F1) with a width (B1) against which the second component bears, with the proviso that the width (B2) is smaller is than the width (B1).
- the sealing arrangement is characterized in that the sealing elements in the outer Area of the joint are positioned and configured to seal the joint from the outside. Positioned in the “ outer area of the joint ” means that the sealing elements are in particular arranged laterally on the second component.
- the application of the joint sealing tape to the surface (F2) of the second component and its arrangement on the first component is facilitated, since the two sealing elements are only permanently connected to the carrier over part of their broad side.
- the parts of the carrier on which the sealing elements are arranged but not firmly connected to the carrier each adjoin the central region of the joint sealing tape and form a support region together with the latter.
- this contact area comes into contact with the surface (F2) of the second component, the width of the contact area corresponding to the width (B2) of the second component.
- the carrier is arranged on the component with the side opposite the sealing tapes.
- the sealing elements fold over and lie against opposite surfaces which are connected by the surface (F2), so that the sealing elements have a protrusion (h) from the surface (F2) of the first component .
- the protrusion (h) points in the direction of the surface (F1) of the first component.
- the mutually facing narrow sides of the sealing elements come into contact with the first component, in particular in a sealing manner.
- a seal to the first component can be ensured solely by arranging the second component on the first component and thus pressing the sealing elements on, the following condition must be met be: at a predetermined width (c) of the broad side of the sealing elements and, if appropriate, at a predetermined width (B2) of the surface (F2) of the second component (also referred to herein as width (p)), the width (a) of the outer region of the sealing elements becomes dependent of the width (p) chosen so that the width (b) of the support area of the support corresponds at least to the width (p) (b ⁇ p) and the width ( t ) of the central area of the joint sealing tape is smaller than the width (p) (t ⁇ p).
- the size of the protrusion (h) or the dimensioning of the joint sealing tape can thus be easily calculated using the following formula, where b is chosen such that b corresponds to at least p and t is less than p:
- Got over H c - a - b - p 2nd
- the resulting overhang (h) decreases because the sealing elements slide further apart and thus on the second component away from the surface (F2) slip.
- the joint sealing tape can be applied to all types of connection joints in which a component with a U-shaped outer profile meets another component, provided that the areas with which the two components meet are of different sizes. Accordingly, the joint sealing tape can be used on all profiles with a U-shaped outer profile, including closed profiles or wooden beams, which must be sealed to form a connection surface.
- the first component is a wall, a ceiling or a floor of a building and the second component is a frame profile of a dry construction framework, for example a U-profile.
- a connection joint can be sealed particularly effectively, particularly in drywall construction, if at least two further components, which are arranged on the side of the second component, are provided.
- a further component is arranged on one side and the second further component on the opposite side of the second component, in each case spaced apart from the first component. This creates a joint that is delimited by the three components.
- a particularly preferred application of the joint sealing tape thus relates to the sealing of the profiles in drywall construction, the first component being a floor, a ceiling or a wall of a component, for example a masonry or concrete component, and the second component being a ceiling, floor or wall profile or is a metal or wooden stand structure of a dry construction element.
- the profile can be any of the commonly used profiles for drywall, regardless of whether it has a slotted or unslit web between slotted or unslit flanges.
- the other components are gypsum plasterboards, which lie close to the profiles and are attached to the stud frame. In order to allow vertical movement of the plasterboard, for example in the event of an earthquake, the plasterboard is mounted vertically movable at a distance from a wall, floor or ceiling.
- This joint is precipitated by the sealing elements of the joint sealing tape, so that the sealing elements seal the joint against noise and / or smoke and, depending on the material of the sealing element, possibly also against fire.
- the joint sealing tape has an elongated carrier and at least two separate sealing elements of a predetermined width, which are spaced apart from one another and run in the longitudinal direction of the carrier on one side of the carrier.
- the shape of the sealing elements or their cross-sectional shape is not restricted as long as the sealing elements adjoin the two components after the joint sealing tape has been installed and can close the joint existing between the components.
- the sealing elements are designed as sealing strips and have a rectangular cross section, each of the sealing strips having two opposite broad sides and two narrow sides running transversely to the broad sides and connecting them, and each having a broad side for contact with the second component and in each case one of the narrow sides is provided for contact with the first component.
- the width of the sealing strips is selected depending on the profiles and the material used. The width must be chosen so that the sealing strip fills the gap between the plasterboard and the ceiling and sealing against both the ceiling and the plasterboard. If vertical movement of the plasterboard is permitted, the sealing strip must follow the movement of the plasterboard so that the contact with the plasterboard does not break off and there is no gap between the sealing strip and the plasterboard.
- the sealing strip is preferably made of resilient and compressible material and is accordingly pre-compressed during assembly of the plasterboard so that a downward movement of the plasterboard can be followed, which increases the gap between it and the ceiling. The preset freedom of movement of the plasterboard thus determines the width of the sealing strip.
- the height of the narrow side of the sealing strip is selected depending on the desired application of the sealing strip, the height being approximately the thickness of a plasterboard panel for simple planking and the height of approximately twice the thickness of a plasterboard panel being double planking.
- the joint sealing tape designed for double planking for simple planking it is also possible to use the joint sealing tape designed for double planking for simple planking.
- the material of the sealing element can be selected, for example, in such a way that its hardness or compressibility is set such that the sealing strips are compressed to a defined height solely by the weight of the plasterboard in the bottom area, for example by a two-layer structure of the sealing element made of foams with different compression densities .
- a correct distance between floor and plasterboard can be set without further measurement. This is particularly necessary if damage to the plasterboard is to be prevented by rising damp.
- the joint sealing tape is preferably divided into three areas, the areas on which the sealing strips are arranged forming the two outer areas.
- the area in between forms the middle area, in particular the middle area is formed by the area between the mutually facing narrow sides of the two sealing strips. So the middle area consists only of the carrier. In this embodiment, the installation and in particular the positioning of the joint sealing tape on the web of the U-profile are facilitated.
- a better hold of the sealing strips on the flanges of the U-profile and a better, in particular closer pressing of the sealing strips onto the ceiling, so that accidental pushing away of the sealing strips during assembly of the plasterboard is prevented, is achieved by the width of the central area of the Joint sealing tape is slightly smaller than the width of the web of the U-profile.
- the carrier preferably has three areas. Two areas on which the sealing strips are arranged. These form the two outer areas. The third area is between the two outer areas. This forms the middle area.
- the sealing strips reliably seal the joint that is left when the plasterboard is installed and any unevenness in the ceiling can be compensated for, the sealing strips must be placed on the profile on both sides over the web of the joint after the joint sealing tape has been arranged U-profile stand out. This is achieved by choosing the width of the support area so that it corresponds at least to the width of the web of the U-profile. Furthermore, the distance between the two sealing strips must be smaller than the width of the web of the U-profile. This means that the sealing strips can fold down at the side and rest on the flanges of the U-profile, thereby encompassing the U-profile.
- the beam is located directly on the web of the U-profile so that it is positioned between the profile and the ceiling after the profile has been attached to the ceiling.
- the mutually facing narrow sides of the sealing strips rise when the joint sealing tape is applied to the U-profile and, after the joint sealing tape has been firmly applied to the U-profile, project beyond the surface of the web.
- the protrusion now presses firmly against the ceiling when attaching the U-profile to the ceiling, making it possible to compensate for unevenness in the ceiling. It is also achieved by the protrusion that the sealing strips are pressed downwards in the direction of the side cheeks of the profile when the profile is fastened and bear against it in a sealing manner. On the one hand, this ensures clean centering of the joint sealing tape on the profile and an additional fastening of the joint sealing tape on the profile, in particular on the side walls of the profile It is not necessary to prevent the joint sealing tape from escaping or folding up when the plasterboard is being installed.
- the joint sealing tape is positioned on the surface (F2) of the second component before the second component is attached to the first component and is arranged together with the latter on the first component, in particular in an abutting manner.
- the joint sealing tape is positioned on a U-profile before the profile is attached to the connection components, such as a ceiling, and then fastened together with this to the ceiling.
- the plasterboard one or two layers, is pressed onto the face of the sealing element, so that with double planking, the two plasterboard plates come into contact with the sealing element, in particular the sealing strip, with their upper edge, thereby sealing the joint .
- the sealing element In order to allow the movement of the gypsum board (s) without a gap between the sealing element and the gypsum board or the gypsum board at maximum movement, the sealing element must be compressed when installing the gypsum board (s).
- the material and the thickness of the sealing element are selected so that the sealing element does not hinder the movement of the gypsum plasterboard (s) and, at the maximum joint width, the upper edge of the gypsum cardboard plate (s) still touches the sealing element in order to ensure adequate sealing against gases.
- the width of the sealing element is preferably chosen so that it corresponds approximately to twice the width of a plasterboard. It has been found that adequate sealing can also be achieved if the width of the sealing element corresponds to the width of only one plasterboard.
- the sealing tape can be laminated on one side with a layer of a material which neither impedes the movement of the gypsum board, nor is destroyed by it, such as a plastic film.
- the positioning mark for the plasterboard can easily be applied to a film, for example.
- this type of installation With this type of installation, a large movement absorption in relation to the joint width is possible. Furthermore, this type is easier to assemble than the aforementioned single or double cladding, since the plasterboard can be easily mounted on the sealing element without measuring the distance. When using a positioning marker, the plasterboard can be installed without measuring the distance. In addition, this type of assembly does not rely on easily compressible materials for the sealing elements and therefore has a relatively large freedom in the choice of material.
- the joint can be sealed if, in the case of double cladding, the two gypsum plasterboards are installed so that they are offset horizontally in such a way that the outer of the two gypsum plasterboards (also referred to as the outer, second gypsum plasterboard) is higher (i.e. closer to the ceiling ) as the inner plasterboard (also referred to as the inner, first plasterboard).
- the thickness of the sealing element is chosen in accordance with the thickness of a plasterboard.
- the first, inner plasterboard is mounted in such a way that its upper edge touches the end faces of the sealing element, with little or no pre-compression of the sealing element being required.
- the second, outer plasterboard is installed horizontally offset, i.e. it is mounted higher than the first, inner plasterboard so that it partially covers the sealing element.
- the sealing element and the gypsum plasterboard should lie against each other in a sealing manner in order to seal the gap between the outer, second gypsum plasterboard and the sealing element, in particular against gases. This results in a seal between the sealing element and the second component, for example a ceiling, a wall or a floor, and between the sealing element and the outer, second gypsum plasterboard.
- An empty gap remains between the second component, such as a ceiling, a wall or a floor, and the outer, second plasterboard. This gap is in the case a vertical movement of the second component or the plasterboard completely available for movement.
- the dimension of the sealing element is therefore preferably chosen such that its thickness is somewhat greater than the thickness of a plasterboard and its height comprises somewhat more than the maximum permissible movement of the components (maximum joint width).
- the thickness of the sealing element is greater than the thickness of the gypsum plasterboard, the gypsum plasterboard is pressed against the sealing element during assembly and somewhat compressed, as a result of which the gap between the sealing element and the gypsum plasterboard is reliably sealed, in particular against gases.
- markings can be made on the side of the joint sealing tape, a so-called positioning mark.
- the sealing tape can be laminated on one side with a layer of a material which neither impedes the movement of the gypsum board, nor is destroyed by it, such as a plastic film.
- the positioning marking for the outer, second gypsum plasterboard can easily be applied to a film, for example.
- This type of installation allows maximum movement absorption in relation to the joint width. Furthermore, this type is very easy to assemble, since on the one hand the first plasterboard can be easily mounted on contact with the sealing element without measuring the distance. Secondly, especially when using a positioning marker, the second plasterboard can also be installed without measuring the distance. In addition, this type of installation results in the greatest possible freedom in the choice of the material for the sealing elements, since these are only slightly compressed and therefore there are only slight demands on the compressibility of the sealing element.
- the joint sealing tape is applied to the connection joints in drywall.
- the connection joint between a ceiling profile, a plasterboard and a ceiling is described.
- the ceiling profile is a common U-profile with a web and two flanges.
- FIG. 3a shows a joint sealing tape 1 according to an embodiment of the invention.
- the joint sealing tape 1 has two sealing elements 3 3 ', which are designed as strips (hereinafter referred to as sealing strips 3 , 3 ') and are arranged on the outer edges of the carrier 2 .
- the sealing strips 3 , 3 ' have a rectangular cross section with two opposite broad sides and in each case two narrow sides running transversely to the broad sides and connecting them.
- the sealing strips 3, 3 ' consist, for example, of a compressible foam and the carrier 2 of a plastic film. With a broad side, the sealing strips 3 , 3 'are each connected to the carrier via an adhesive layer 4 , 4 '.
- the sealing strips are only firmly attached to the carrier 2 on the outer region of the corresponding broad side, so that the respective adhesive layer 4 , 4 'extends from the edge of the carrier 2 to points A and B, respectively.
- the joint sealing tape 1 is thus functionally divided into three areas, the two outer areas with the width c , which correspond to the areas in which the sealing strips 2 are arranged on the carrier 2 , and the middle area in between with the width t , in this Area no support material is assigned to the carrier 2 .
- the sealing strips 3 , 3 ′ are each divided into two areas, namely an outer area that corresponds to the area that is firmly connected to the carrier 2 and an inner area that corresponds to the area that is not firmly connected to the carrier 2 is.
- the two interior areas face each other.
- the outer region and the inner region of a sealing strip are not separated from one another, so that the sealing strip is formed in one piece.
- the outer region and the inner region of a sealing strip can define separate regions of the sealing strip which have different cross sections and / or can consist of different materials.
- the area of the carrier 2 which is defined by the area between the points A and B , corresponds to the support area with the width b , which is greater than the distance t between the two sealing strips 3 , 3 '(see. Fig. 3b ).
- the area where the sealing strips 3 , 3 'are firmly connected to the carrier 2 via the adhesive layer 4 , 4 ' has the width a (see FIG. Fig. 3b ).
- the joint sealing tape 1 with the contact area is placed on, for example, the U-profile of a drywall frame (not shown in the figure), is placed more precisely on the web of the U-profile, the joint sealing tape 1 can snap off at points A and B ( Fig. 3b ) to fit closely to the U-profile, as in Figure 3c shown.
- Figure 3c shows the state in which the joint sealing tape 1 is completely applied to the U-profile 10 , the two sealing strips 3 , 3 'lying laterally on the U-profile 10 , the carrier 2 resting directly on the U-profile 10 .
- the width of the contact area was selected in accordance with the width p of the web of the U-profile.
- This supernatant has two functions. On the one hand, it means that when the U-profile 10 is attached to the ceiling 20, the sealing strips 3 , 3 'are centered and pressed firmly against the flanges of the U-profile 10 . This is in Figure 4 indicated by the two arrows. An additional fastening of the sealing strip 3 , 3 'to the flanges 12 , 12 ' of the U-profile 10 can thereby be dispensed with, without the sealing effect suffering as a result. On the other hand, the sealing strip 3 and 3 'is pressed firmly against the ceiling 20 and can thus compensate for any unevenness in the ceiling 20 and seal the gap between the U-profile 10 and the ceiling 20 from the outside. It is thereby achieved that the joint sealing tape 1 seals against the ceiling 20 and the U-profile 10 .
- FIG 5 is the application of the joint sealing tape 1 for sealing the gap between a ceiling 20, the U-profile 10 of a drywall frame and the plasterboard 30 outlined step by step.
- the joint sealing tape 1 is placed on the web of the U-profile 10 and together with this in the second step II on the ceiling 20 in the usual way, for example by screwing or Nail, attached.
- a final step III the gypsum board 30 is placed on the flanges of the U-profile 20 , pushed up towards the ceiling 20 , leaving a gap between the top edge of the gypsum board 30 and the ceiling 20 , which with the sealing strips 3 , 3 ' of the joint sealing tape 1 is filled in order to permit a vertical movement of the plasterboard 30 .
- the sealing strips are compressed and thus seal the gap between the ceiling 20 and the U-profile 10 and the gap between the ceiling 20 and the plasterboard 30 .
- the finished construction is in Figure 6 shown.
- Figure 7 shows the finished structure of a component with staggered double planking.
- the joint sealing tape 1 is placed on the web of the U-profile 10 and, together with the latter, is fastened to the ceiling 20 in a conventional manner, for example by screwing or nailing.
- the first, inner plasterboard panels 30 , 30 ' are placed on the flanges of the U-profile, pushed up towards the ceiling 20 , leaving a gap between the top edge of the plasterboard panel 30 and the ceiling 20 , which is with the sealing strips of the joint sealing tape 1 is filled in to allow for about a vertical movement of the plasterboard 30 , 30 ' .
- the plasterboard 30 , 30 ' are mounted so that the two sealing strips are pressed together only slightly. This can result in a gap between the sealing strips of the joint sealing tape 1 and the plasterboard panels 30 , 30 ' at the maximum joint width.
- the second, outer plasterboard panels 40 , 40 ' are externally mounted on the two first, inner plasterboard panels 30, 30' , generally by screwing the two superimposed panels 30, 40, 30 ', 40', the two second, outer plasterboard panels 40, 40 ' are mounted somewhat higher than the first two inner plasterboard plates 30, 30', so that they partially cover the sealing strip of the joint sealing tape 1 .
- the sealing strips are preferably made somewhat higher than the first, inner plasterboard panels 30, 30 ', so that they protrude somewhat after the assembly of the first, inner plasterboard panels 30, 30' .
- This protrusion is compressed by the second, outer plasterboard 40, 40 ' , whereby on the one hand a very good seal of the second, outer plasterboard against the sealing strips of the joint sealing tape 1 and on the other hand a sealing of the gap which occurs in the case of the maximum joint width is reached between the sealing strips of the joint sealing tape 1 and the first, inner plasterboard panels 30, 30 ' .
- a marking line M on the surface pointing outwards after the assembly of the joint sealing tape 1 that is to say the surface of the sealing strips pointing away from the flange of the U-profile 10 ( Fig. 10 ) makes it easier to install the second, outer plasterboard at the correct height.
- the marking line M takes into account the maximum movement of the second, outer plasterboard panels 40, 40 ' upwards in the direction of the ceiling 20 ( Fig. 8 ).
- the marking line M takes into account the maximum movement of the first two inner plasterboard plates 30, 30 ' downward from the ceiling 20 ( Fig. 9 ), so that a seal is guaranteed at all times in both directions of movement ( 8, 9 ).
- the application is very easy to assemble, since no additional fastening of the joint sealing tape, for example on the profile or on the ceiling, is necessary. Due to the self-centering of the joint sealing tape, fitting the joint sealing tape to a profile, for example, is also not necessary when mounting the profile on a component. Installation is therefore extremely simple and the work involved in installing the joint sealing tape is significantly reduced.
- a defined pressing of the sealing strips against the substrate takes place through the configuration of the joint sealing tape according to the invention, and undesired folding up is avoided by firmly pressing the sealing strips against the profile.

Description

Fig. 3b ).
- In
