Definitions

  • the invention relates to a multi-part and panel-shaped wood system and a method for producing this wood system.
  • Doors often consist of numerous elements that are connected to form a system. From the US6112496A a door system is known which consists of wooden elements and metal elements which are connected to one another by connecting elements. Wooden elements are often connected to one another using adhesives, which is undesirable for ecological reasons.
  • Panel-shaped wooden elements are also often used for furniture, in particular for table tops, doors, covers, room dividers or cabinet fronts. Adhesive-free joined wood elements are also desirable for such applications for ecological and health reasons.
  • WO200828925A1 A method for the production of panel-shaped components, in particular made of wood, is known. At least three layers of boards are connected to each other by dowels without using adhesives. The disadvantage here is that high pressure has to be exerted on the boards when driving in the dowels, which is associated with high production costs and complicated process parameters.
  • EP2851497A1 It is also known that in the case of sliding doors, recesses are often inserted into the end faces, which serve to accommodate a fitting which can be connected to a running gear guided in a running rail. The space on the front sides of the door leaf of a revolving door or a sliding door is therefore often reserved for other purposes. In addition, strips provided on the face side only allow peripheral stabilization of the door leaf.
  • CH700181B1 discloses a flat wooden element with a plurality of longitudinal strips made of solid wood running parallel in a longitudinal direction, which are mechanically connected to one another on their long narrow sides in such a way that they have play with one another.
  • a transverse strip is provided transversely to the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal strips, which is firmly glued to every second longitudinal strip in a main glue area.
  • indentations or recesses running transversely to the longitudinal direction are milled into the back of the door leaf, into which a crossbar is inserted. These crossbars are therefore visible on the back of the wooden element, which is why an undesirable aesthetic impression results.
  • glue is undesirable.
  • the millings are also open to the outside, why there is a weakening and for what purpose and moisture can penetrate.
  • the FR2209885A1 discloses a door with wooden slats aligned parallel to one another, which are provided with openings into which hinge rods are inserted, which are riveted to individual ones of the wooden slats.
  • FR2590331A1 discloses a door panel with wooden slats aligned parallel to one another, which are provided with openings into which assembly keys are inserted, which have end pieces with anchor elements on both sides, which are anchored in the edge wooden slats.
  • NL8204296A discloses a door panel with wooden slats aligned parallel to one another, which are provided with openings into which a cross piece is inserted. This allows the door panel to be assembled quickly, since the wooden slats can be placed sequentially on the crosspiece during assembly.
  • the individual wooden slats have a groove on one side and a tongue on the other side, which engage in pairs and can shift against each other in the event of thermal expansion.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object of creating an improved panel-shaped wood system and an improved method for producing such a wood system.
  • a panel-shaped wood system is to be created which is not afflicted with the deficiencies described above.
  • the method is intended to allow wood panels made of solid wood of different thicknesses to be joined together to form a wood system according to the invention.
  • the processed wood should work, i.e. shrink, swell and warp without this having a negative effect on the wood system.
  • the wood system should be advantageously designable and be able to be manufactured with a modern or classic, simple or artistically sophisticated appearance. It should be avoided that parts of the wood system appear unfavorable and impair the aesthetic appearance of the wood system.
  • the panel-shaped wood system should be universally usable and e.g. as a door or door leaf, in particular front door, room door, and furniture door, e.g. cabinet door or shaft door, and be able to compensate for corresponding force and/or pressure loads while maintaining its function.
  • the door leaf should be able to be provided peripherally with connecting elements, locking elements or fittings, as well as with folds, grooves and seals and the like, so that the wood system can be used without restrictions in conventional systems and devices.
  • the panel-shaped wood system should preferably be able to be assembled with little effort without the use of glue.
  • the assembled wood system should have a high level of inherent stability and a long service life.
  • the panel-shaped wood system should be able to absorb temperature and humidity fluctuations that usually occur in the area of a house while maintaining its function. Stresses within the wood system and changes in dimensions that can cause disruptions should be avoided.
  • the wood system and its elements should also be able to be manufactured and assembled inexpensively and efficiently, preferably partially or completely automatically.
  • the panel-shaped wood system comprises on opposite longitudinal sides a first or second side element in the design of elongated solid wood elements, which are aligned parallel to one another and between which a central element with several central strips in the design of elongated solid wood elements are provided, and at least one cross brace, which is at least approximately perpendicular aligned with the two side panels and the center panel.
  • the central strips and optionally the first side element and/or the second side element are provided with openings which form at least one self-contained receiving channel into which the at least one cross brace is inserted, which is connected to the first side element by at least one first holding means and by at least a second retaining means is connected to the second side panel.
  • the cross brace used in the receiving channel is therefore fully integrated into the wood system and is neither aesthetically nor functionally disruptive.
  • the cross brace is not visible from the outside and is preferably also not arranged in the periphery of the wood system, which is why recesses, folds and grooves can be provided on all edges of the wood system, e.g. a door leaf, and fittings and seals can be used.
  • the panel-shaped wooden system can thus be processed and used like a uniform wooden panel.
  • the wood system can be used, for example, as the door leaf of a sliding door and provided with recesses on the face side, into which fitting devices can be inserted, which can be connected to carriages that are slidably mounted in a running rail mounted on the ceiling or in a guide rail mounted on the floor.
  • the holding means can be sunk deep into the side elements and closed with covering means, such as wooden pegs, so that they are not in the edge area of the wooden system.
  • the elements of the door system are mechanically connected to each other, which is why the use of glue can be completely dispensed with. Due to the advantageous mechanical connection and the integration of one or more cross braces in the wood system, this is not only peripherally but completely stabilized, which is why unfavorable dimensional changes in the wood system can be avoided.
  • the wood system with the integrated cross braces also has a high level of inherent stability. The front and back of the wooden system are smooth and have no weakening, which is why the penetration of dirt and moisture is prevented.
  • an expansion joint is arranged between the central element and the second side element, which serves to absorb expansions of the central element and the side elements.
  • the expansion joint absorbs natural material expansions in the wood system, which occur due to changes in temperature and/or humidity. Since the first and the second side element are firmly connected to one another by the cross brace, the wooden elements bordering on both sides of the expansion joint can be pushed into it and stresses in the material can be avoided.
  • the outer dimensions of the panel-shaped wooden system thus remain at least approximately constant even with temperature and/or humidity fluctuations, so that no disruptive effects, such as a wooden door sticking after a temperature fluctuation, can occur.
  • the dilatation joint comprises form-fittingly engaging molded parts, such as a dilatation comb that is preferably held without play in a dilatation groove, which can slide within the dilatation groove and nevertheless seals it tightly.
  • the expansion joint which tightly seals the opening between the side element and the adjoining center bar, is therefore hardly visible and still allows expansion of the wood system to be absorbed.
  • the central element comprises any number of central strips, which are designed as elongate solid wood elements and are connected to one another in a fixed or detachable manner.
  • the central element is aligned at least approximately parallel to the first and/or second side element. Due to the production from several middle strips, the maximum width of the middle element is not limited by the diameter of the original wood, but can be expanded as desired. Even with larger dimensions, the cross braces can be used to ensure that the wooden system is aligned in one plane and does not deform.
  • At least two transverse struts are provided which are aligned at least approximately perpendicularly to the two side elements and are connected to the first side element by at least one first holding element and to the second side element by at least one second holding element.
  • a first cross brace is preferably arranged on the upper half and a second cross brace on the lower half of the panel-shaped wood system. This arrangement reduces lateral torsion.
  • the mounting bore or the mounting groove can be worked into the wooden elements, e.g. by drilling or milling.
  • the term receiving hole is therefore not limited to drilling, but relates to a longitudinal opening or a partial channel with a cross section that corresponds to the cross section of the cross brace. This cross section is preferably at least approximately rectangular or rounded.
  • the longitudinal opening or the partial channel is connected within the wood system and is neither accessible nor visible from the front and rear of the wood system, e.g can be.
  • the panel-shaped wood system has more than one cross brace, a corresponding number of receiving channels is provided.
  • the receiving bores of the receiving channel serving to receive the cross strut are preferably not designed to be continuous, so that the cross strut can only be inserted from one side and is not visible from the other side.
  • the cross brace is thus arranged entirely inside the panel-shaped wood system, as a result of which the outside view of the panel-shaped wood system remains freely designable.
  • the receiving channel or the corresponding recesses, bores, or milled-out portions in the wooden elements have a cross section that corresponds at least approximately to the cross section of the cross brace, so that the cross brace can be mounted at least approximately in a form-fitting manner and preferably without play in the receiving channel, but without material stretching to hinder.
  • the cross brace is preferably held with play at the top and bottom in the receiving channel. Perpendicular to the door or to the wood system, the cross brace is preferably held without play in the receiving channel.
  • the Wooden elements are therefore always kept aligned parallel to one another, but can stretch in the longitudinal direction.
  • the receiving channel in which the crossbar is mounted has at least one groove projection running along the receiving channel, which is designed such that the crossbar guided in the receiving channel is guided and at least partially held in a form-fitting manner.
  • the holding means are designed as wooden dowels and/or screws, preferably wood screws.
  • the holding means are preferably used perpendicular to the main plane of extension of the panel-shaped wood system or parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cross brace.
  • drill holes that are visible from the outside and through which the holding means are inserted are sealed with a wooden cover, preferably a wooden dowel, after the holding means have been inserted, so that the panel-shaped wooden system has a consistent wooden look from the outside.
  • the one-part or multi-part middle element fills the space delimited by the first and the second side element at least almost completely. This creates the visual impression of a continuous wooden panel.
  • the first side element and the one-part or multi-part central element are connected to one another by click connections or by anchor connections.
  • the connection is designed in such a way that the individual elements are connected to one another in a form-fitting manner and are largely mechanically stable.
  • the anchor connections particularly preferably comprise an anchor groove which preferably tapers continuously and which runs along a first side surface of the first side element, the central element or the central strips, and a corresponding and itself preferably continuously tapering anchor crest, which runs along the central element, optionally the central strips, or a first side face of the first side element.
  • the sides of the central element and of the second side element facing the expansion joint preferably comprise an expansion groove and an expansion comb that is displaceable and preferably held without play in the expansion groove.
  • the dimensions of the expansion comb and expansion groove are particularly preferably matched to one another in such a way that the expansion joint remains optically closed on the one hand, even with maximum expansion and shrinkage of the panel-shaped wood system, and on the other hand no blockage occurs.
  • the dilatation groove preferably has a geometry that is complementary to the dilation comb, so that the dilatation comb can be displaced in the dilatation groove with practically no play and nevertheless seals it largely tightly.
  • the panel-shaped wood system and all wood-based elements thereof are particularly preferably designed to be adhesive-free.
  • the panel-shaped wood system when it has reached its useful life, it can be used for other purposes or simply burned, which makes ecological sense.
  • no non-volatile solvents, which are often contained in adhesives, are released from the panel-shaped wood system during its service life.
  • first side element and/or the second side element and/or the middle element, optionally the middle strips, and/or the cross brace are made from a piece of solid wood in such a way that the direction of wood growth runs at least approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of the respective element.
  • Shrinkage and expansion of wood due to changes in temperature and humidity primarily affect the directions perpendicular to the direction of wood growth. In the panel-shaped wood system according to the invention, shrinkage and expansion are thus absorbed by the expansion joint, while no disturbing material expansions occur in the longitudinal direction of the wood elements.
  • a retaining pin is arranged on the central element, optionally on the central strip adjacent to the first or second side element, which engages at least approximately positively in a retaining opening provided for this purpose on the first or second side element and is mounted therein.
  • the second side element and the central element, optionally the central strips, and the first side element connected thereto are additionally stabilized and guided relative to one another by the retaining pin and the retaining opening. Even if the expansion or shrinkage exceeds the normal range, the two units remain guided against each other.
  • the retaining pin and the retaining opening are also interchangeable.
  • the panel-shaped wood system is preferably designed as a door, in particular a house door, room door, furniture door, e.g. cupboard door or shaft door. Due to the high inherent stability of the panel-shaped wood system, doors can be manufactured with high stability that can withstand high loads.
  • At least one method step is carried out by a computer-controlled machine or a robot.
  • At least the elements for the anchor connection and/or the click connection and/or the expansion joint are preferably worked into the first side element, the second side element and the middle element, optionally the middle strips, on a computer-controlled milling machine or a computer-controlled planing machine.
