Definitions

  • the invention relates to a dipping arch as used in sludge bags of drainage systems, also a sludge collector which comprises a sludge bag and a dipping arch according to the invention and a method for handling a dipping arch according to the invention.
  • a generic dip arch and a generic sludge collector are for example from DE 158 132 C known.
  • the mud bags of mud collectors of this type are emptied periodically, removing water and sediments.
  • the sewer into which the water flows from the sludge bag can contain rainwater, dirty sewage or mixed sewage and depending on the situation leads to an open body of water or to a sewage treatment plant.
  • the connection section forming a siphon must always be filled with water. If the connection section does not contain enough water, for example because it has dried out at low water level, the Immersion arch permeable to gases. The gas lock can only be restored by filling it with water. However, in the case of the known generic submerged arch, this is only possible by filling up the sludge collector, which requires a large amount of water and therefore cannot easily be done with pure water.
  • a light liquid separator for discharging light liquid such as oil from a water surface in which an inlet part is placed vertically displaceably on a descending section of a U-shaped section of a drain pipe. It comprises an inlet cup with a float and a drain that is open at the top, to which a drain nozzle connects at the bottom, which protrudes into the said descending section of the drain pipe, and an overflow nozzle that surrounds the same.
  • the vertical displaceability of the inlet cup is intended to ensure that it can follow the fluctuations in the liquid level and that water cannot drain away.
  • DE 197 40 407 A1 shows a sewage treatment plant with a collecting tank and an intermediate tank connected to a clarifier, which are connected via a first section of a feed line, which in the collecting tank has an upwardly U-shaped bent part Contains, to which a first straight part and further via a swivel joint a second straight part arranged in the intermediate container connects, which is directed diagonally upwards by elastic elements when empty, so that no liquid escapes, while it tilts towards the horizontal when the liquid level rises in such a way that liquid can escape.
  • the invention is based on the object of improving the known, generic dip bend in such a way that the connecting section can, if necessary, easily be filled with water in such a way that the passage of gases is prevented.
  • the connecting section can be filled at any time through the filling opening, for example with a relatively small amount of water, in such a way that the passage of gases is prevented. Therefore, the filling can easily be done with pure water.
  • the dip arch By injecting pressurized water into the filling opening, the dip arch can also be cleaned without removing it from the sludge bag.
  • the dip arch vented through the filling opening, so that the structure an air cushion hindering the passage of water is avoided.
  • a sludge collector which comprises a dip bow according to the invention and a method for handling a dip bow according to the invention when the same is inserted into a sludge bag and removed from it.
  • the dip arch according to the invention suitable for use in a mud bag has ( Fig. 1 , 2a-c , 3 ) an approximately cuboid housing 1 with a base 2 that is approximately horizontal in the operational position, a cover 3 of the same type and a first side wall 4a and a second side wall 4b, a front wall 5 and a rear wall 6, which are approximately vertical in the operational position.
  • a pipe socket 7 In the upper area of the rear wall 6 there is an approximately horizontal pipe socket 7 that narrows slightly conically towards the outside.
  • the pipe socket 7 is a separate part which is connected to the housing 1 in such a way that it can be removed without damage; it is preferably screwed to the housing 1. In this way, pipe sockets with different shapes, different lengths and, above all, different outside diameters can be attached to the housing 1 in adaptation to the operating conditions.
  • An inlet opening 8 pointing downwards is provided in the front part of the base 2. From this, a front line section 9 rises along the front wall 5 to a front passage 10, via which it is connected to a connecting section 11, more precisely to a front section 12 of the same, descending anti-parallel to the front line section 9.
  • the front section 12 is connected at the lower end via a connecting passage 13 to the lower end of a rear section 14 of the connecting section 11, which is anti-parallel to the front section 12 rises to a rear passage 15 located at its upper end in the rear wall 6.
  • the rear passage 15 is followed by the pipe socket 7, which forms a rear line section adjoining the connecting section 11, which leads to an outlet opening 16 at the end of the pipe socket 7.
  • the inlet opening 8 is therefore connected to the outlet opening 16 via the front line section 9, the connecting section 11 and the rear line section formed by the pipe socket 7.
  • the front line section 9 is separated from the front section 12 of the connecting section 11 by a vertical front partition wall 17 which extends from the first side wall 4a to the second side wall 4b and extends from the bottom 2 to an upper edge 18, which is the lower limit of the front Passage 10 forms.
  • the rear part 14 of the connecting section 11 is separated from its front part 12 by a rear partition 19, which also extends from the first side wall 4a to the second side wall 4b and extends essentially from the cover 3 to a lower edge 20, which forms the upper limit of the communication passage 13.
  • the connecting section 11 is delimited by a U-shaped curved wall strip 21 in the area of the connecting passage 13.
  • the lower edge 20 of the rear partition 19 is lower than the upper edge 18 of the front partition 17 and also than the pipe socket 7, that is, the connecting passage 13 is entirely lower than the front passage 10 and the rear passage 15 leading into the pipe socket 7
  • the connecting section 11 therefore forms a siphon which, when it is filled with water, the connection between the outlet opening 16 and the inlet opening 8 blocks against the passage of gases.
  • a separate filling opening 22 is provided, which extends on the upper side, in the front region of the lid 3, in the form of a slot transversely from the first side wall 4a to the second side wall 4b, and on a rear side obliquely forward above lid 23 is limited. It flows into the upper, i.e. The part of the connecting section lying above the connecting passage 13, preferably it is arranged, as shown, at the upper end of its front section 12. The connecting section 11 is therefore accessible from the outside, in particular from above, through the filling opening 22.
  • the filling opening 22 also allows the dip arch to be cleaned without removing it from the sludge bag, for example by injecting water into the filling opening 22 using the high-pressure flushing hose already used for cleaning the sludge bag. It also serves to ventilate the connecting section and prevents the build-up of an air cushion that hinders the passage of water.
  • the housing 1 has an indentation 24, in the center of which a bracket 25 is arranged, which serves as a handle. At the front end, the bracket 25 ends in an extension 26 which is provided with a transversely through hole 27 and thus forms an eyelet.
  • Fig. 4 shows a sludge collector according to the invention, which comprises a concreted sludge sack 28 sunk in the ground, with an upper inlet opening 29, which is usually closed by an inlet grate and through which rainwater can flow from a street into the interior of the sludge sack.
  • a drain 30 leads from a drain opening 31 in the side wall of the sludge bag 28 to a sewer 32, which can lead rainwater, dirty sewage or mixed sewage.
  • the sludge collector also comprises a dip bend according to the invention, the pipe socket 7 of which is selected to match the diameter of the discharge line 30 so that it fits snugly into the part of the discharge line 30 adjoining the discharge opening 31 and into which it is inserted.
  • the sludge bag 28 is filled so that water flows from the same from the inlet opening 8 located in the bottom 2 of the housing 1, ie below the outlet opening 16 and thus the water level, through the front line section 9, the connecting section 11 and the rear line section formed by the pipe socket 7 to the outlet opening 16 and further through the discharge line 30 into the sewer 32.
  • Fig. 5 shows the sludge collector with an empty, pumped-out sludge bag 28.
  • water which can be pure water introduced through the filling opening 22 by means of a pipe or hose.
  • the connecting section 11 in the housing 1 thus forms a water-filled siphon, so that the escape of gases from the sewer 32 through the submerged arch into the sludge bag 28 and further through the inlet opening 29 into the open air is reliably prevented.
  • the amount of water required for this is small.
  • Fig. 6 finally shows the handling according to the invention of the dip arch according to the invention when it is inserted into the sludge bag 28 or when it is removed from it.
  • a handling device 33 with a rod-shaped carrier 34 which is articulated to a rod 35, is attached to the front of the housing 1.
  • the carrier 34 has at the lower end a pressure surface coated with rubber, for example, which rests against the front wall 5 of the housing 1 and a longer extension 36 with a transverse pin 37 at its outer end which is inserted through the hole 27.
  • the spatial position of the diving arc can thus be adequately controlled by the handling device 33.
  • the dip bend is then brought into a position in which the pipe socket 7 is horizontal and the same is then pushed into the drainage opening 31 until it is fully seated in the section of the discharge line 30 adjoining this.
  • the pipe socket 7 is first loosened by shaking if necessary and then pulled out of the drain opening 31, whereupon the dipping arch is lifted out of the sludge bag 28. Thanks to the handling device 33, direct manual interventions in the interior of the mud bag 28 are usually not necessary.
  • the front line section and the sections of the connection section can be arranged wholly or partially next to one another instead of one behind the other; in the case of a different type of installation, the pipe socket can be missing so that the rear Line section is omitted and the rear passage and the outlet opening coincide, a hook can be provided instead of an eye, etc.
