Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fundation für eine Garnitur einer Karde sowie eine Garnitur mit dieser Fundation.
- In der Faserverarbeitung werden die Fasern, nach deren Reinigung und Öffnung in einer Karde oder Krempel aufgearbeitet, parallelisiert und in Form von Vlies oder Faserbändern für die Weiterverarbeitung bereitgestellt. Dazu werden an verschiedenen Stellen in einer Karde oder Krempel Garnituren eingesetzt, beispielsweise auf Trommeln, Deckeln oder Walzen. Die dabei hauptsächlich zur Anwendung kommenden Garnituren sind flexible oder halbstarre Garnituren wie auch Ganzstahlgarnituren. Für flexible oder halbstarre Garnituren werden Drahthäkchen verwendet, welche in einer Fundation gehalten sind. Die Fundation besteht aus einer oder mehreren aus Vlies oder Gewebelagen aufgebauten Schichten. Die verschiedenen Schichten werden durch Kleben, Vulkanisieren oder andere thermische Behandlungen zu einer Fundation zusammengefügt. Dabei werden den verschiedenen Schichten unterschiedliche Aufgaben zugeordnet, beispielsweise Verstärkung der Fundation oder Bestimmung der Flexibilität. Entsprechend der Anwendung einer Fundation werden die Schichten in Anzahl und Material bestimmt zusammengesetzt. Für spezielle Anwendungen werden auch Fundationen aus Kunststoff eingesetzt, beispielsweise bei halbstarren Garnituren. Die Drahthäkchen werden meist als U-förmige Doppelhäkchen ausgeführt und von der einen zur anderen Seite der Fundation durchgestochen und bilden mit den Drahtenden die Garniturspitzen. Eine derartige Garnitur mit einer in Schichten aufgebauten Fundation offenbart die
JP H07 166437 A JP H07 40778 U - Die in den verschiedenen Verfahren und Maschinen zur Anwendung kommenden Garnituren müssen dabei immer weitergehende Funktionen erfüllen. In bestimmten Anwendungen sind die Garnituren mit einer hohen Präzision vorzusehen, da zwischen den Garnituren der verschiedenen Elemente ein Abstand von weniger als 0.2 mm vorgese hen ist. Um dieser Genauigkeit gerecht zu werden und auch Einstellungsfehler zu vermeiden ist aus dem Stand der Technik eine elektronische Messung des Kardierabstandes bekannt. Dabei wird an die Drahthäkchen der Garnitur eine bestimmte elektrische Spannung angelegt und über eine elektrische Entladung oder einen Kontakt zwischen den Garniturspitzen der sich gegenüberstehenden Elemente ein Abstand zwischen den Garniturspitzen bestimmt. Eine derartige Messung setzt jedoch voraus, dass eine kontrollierte und sichere elektrische Verbindung zu den einzelnen Drahthäkchen einer Garnitur gegeben ist.
- Aus dem Stand der Technik sind verschiedene elektrisch leitende Garnituren bekannt. Beispielsweise offenbart die
DE 648 230 eine Garnitur mit einer Fundation aus verschiedenen Gewebelagen, wobei in der Fundation eine Decklage oder eine Zwischenlage aus einem elektrisch leitfähigen Gummi vorgesehen ist. Die elektrisch leitende Decklage ist dabei auf der Seite der Fundation vorgesehen, auf welcher die aus der Fundation herausragenden Spitzen der Drahthäkchen die Garniturspitzen bilden. Die elektrische Leitfähigkeit dient in der offenbarten Ausführung der Ableitung der statischen Elektrizität. Bedingt durch den Prozess der Kardierung können die Garnituren statisch geladen werden, was wiederum den Kardiervorgang negativ beeinflusst. Um hier Abhilfe zu schaffen wurde eine elektrisch leitfähige Fundation geschaffen. In der Ergänzung offenbart dieDE 739 687 eine zusätzliche elektrisch leitfähige Schicht an der Unterseite der Fundation. - Die
DE 198 26 542 C2 offenbart ebenfalls eine elektrisch leitende Fundation zur Ableitung der elektrostatischen Aufladungen. Dabei wurde vorgeschlagen zumindest in die Deckschicht elektrisch leitendes Material in Form von feinen elektrisch leitenden Drähten, Drahtabschnitten oder anderer elektrisch leitende Partikel vorzusehen. Wichtig für die Ableitung elektrostatischer Aufladungen ist eine leitfähige Deckschicht, wobei sich die Deckschicht in der Fundation jeweils auf der Seite der Garniturspitzen befindet. Die Seite der Garniturspitzen ist diejenige Seite einer Garnitur welche der Kardentrommel zugeordnet ist. Durch die Beimengung von elektrisch leitendem Material in die Fundation werden deren mechanische Eigenschaften verändert. Durch eine zufällige Anhäufung der Zugaben können sich partiell nachteilige Eigenschaften ergeben. - Die nach dem Stand der Technik bekannten elektrisch leitfähigen Schichten in Fundationen haben bei einer Verwendung in messtechnisch hochstehenden Maschinen den Nachteil, dass eine möglichst hohe Leitfähigkeit erzielt werden sollte um auch geringe elektrostatische Ladungen abführen zu können. Dadurch ergeben sich für eine gesteuerte elektrische Versorgung der Drahthäkchen verschiedene Hindernisse. Durch die Bewegung der Drahthäkchen während der Faserbearbeitung können diese durch die nicht flächendeckende Leitfähigkeit dieser Ausführungen den Kontakt zu einer Schicht, insbesondere der Deckschicht, verlieren, da die Deckschicht im Bereich des Durchstichs während des Kardierprozesses über deren Elastizität beansprucht wird. Dies ist bei einer Ableitung statischer Elektrizität nicht weiter relevant, da für eine effiziente Ableitung nicht sämtliche Drahthäkchen benötigt werden. Zudem ist für die Einleitung einer elektrischer Spannung ein den Bedürfnissen angepasster elektrischer Widerstand des Leiters, in diesem Fall der elektrisch leitenden Deckschicht, notwendig. Wohingegen die Grösse des elektrischen Widerstandes für die Ableitung statischer Elektrizität nicht wichtig ist, solange der elektrische Widerstand gering ist.
Die Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es eine Fundation zu schaffen, welche eine hohe Kontaktsicherheit für jedes einzelne Drahthäkchen ergibt und durch eine entsprechende Widerstandswirkung einen Schutz der Drahthäkchen vor Überspannung bewirkt.
Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst durch die Merkmale der unabhängigen Ansprüche.
Die Aufgabe wird in einer ersten Ausführungsform gelöst durch eine Fundation für eine Garnitur einer Karde welche aus einer Mehrzahl von Schichten aufgebaut ist, wobei zumindest eine Deckschicht aus Kautschuk und zumindest fünf Gewebelagen aus Baumwollgewebe vorgesehen sind. Jeweils zwischen den Gewebelagen aus Baumwollgewebe ist zumindest eine die Gewebelagen verbindende Zwischenschicht vorgesehen. Auf einer der Deckschicht gegenüber liegenden Seite der Fundation ist eine Oberschicht aus einem elektrisch leitenden Gummi mit einer Schichtdicke von 0.5 mm bis 1.0 mm vorgesehen.
Die Aufgabe wird in einer zweiten nicht erfindungsgemäßen Ausführungsform gelöst durch eine Fundation für eine Garnitur einer Karde welche aus einer Mehrzahl von Schichten aufgebaut ist, wobei zumindest eine Deckschicht aus Kautschuk und zumindest fünf Gewebelagen aus Baumwollgewebe vorgesehen sind. Jeweils zwischen den Gewebelagen aus Baumwollgewebe ist zumindest eine die Gewebelagen verbindende Zwischenschicht vorgesehen. Die Zwischenschicht ist aus einem leitenden Gummi vorgesehen. - In einer dritten Ausführungsform sind sowohl die Oberschicht als auch die Zwischenschicht aus einem leitenden Gummi vorgesehen.
Die Deckschicht, welche auf der Seite der Garniturspitzen auf der Fundation aufgebracht ist, dient dazu eine leicht zu reinigende Oberfläche der Garnitur zu bilden und die Flexibilität der Garniturspitzen in ihren Bewegungen während eines Kardierprozesses einzustellen.
Die in einer ersten Ausführungsform vorgesehene Oberschicht, welche auf der der Deckschicht gegenüber liegenden Seite der Fundation angeordnet ist, wird aus einem leitenden Gummi gebildet. Die Schichtdicke der Oberschicht beträgt 0.5 mm bis 1.0 mm, bevorzugterweise 0.75 mm. Durch die hohe Dicke der Oberschicht ergibt sich eine hohe Kontaktsicherheit für die einzelnen durch die Fundation hindurchgestochenen Drahthäkchen. Die Drahthäkchen werden von der Oberseite her durch die Fundation gestochen und kommen derart mit ihren Rücken auf die Oberschicht zu liegen. Durch den Setzvorgang werden die Rücken der Drahthäkchen in die Oberschicht gepresst, was zu einer weiteren Verbesserung des Kontaktes führt. - In der zweiten nicht erfindungsgemäßen Ausführungsform wird durch die Anordnung der Zwischenschichten aus leitendem Gummi zwischen den einzelnen Gewebelagen eine hohe Kontaktsicherheit erreicht. Auch bei Bewegungen der Drahthäkchen respektive der Garniturspitzen, wirkt sich dies nur in geringem Masse auf die Kontaktpunkte der Drahthäkchen aus. Durch diesen Aufbau haben weder die ausgebildete Form der mit den Drahthäkchen gebildeten Garniturspitzen noch die verwendete Drahtform zur Ausbildung der Drahthäkchen einen Einfluss auf die Kontaktsicherheit. Aufgrund der verschiedenartigen Anwendungen der Garnituren sind die Garniturspitzen grösseren oder kleineren Bewegungen ausgesetzt, was ebenfalls auch bei grösseren Bewegungen zu keiner Verschlechterung der Kontakte der einzelnen Drahthäkchen zu den Zwischenschichten aus leitendem Gummi führt.
Die Zwischenschichten aus leitendem Gummi weisen eine Schichtdicke von 0.02 mm bis 0.2 mm auf. Bevorzugterweise weisen die Zwischenschichten aus leitendem Gummi eine Schichtdicke von 0.05 mm bis 0.15 mm auf. Die Zwischenschichten aus leitendem Gummi werden zur Verbindung der einzelnen Gewebelagen genutzt. Die Verbindung wird durch einen Vulkanisierungsprozess erreicht. Dieser ist aus dem Stand der Technik bekannt. - In einer weiteren Ausführungsform der Fundation wird die jeweilige Zwischenschicht aus leitendem Gummi in mehreren Lagen eingebracht. Bevorzugterweise ist die Zwischenschicht aus leitendem Gummi in mindestens drei Lagen eingebracht. Dabei weist jede Lage eine Schichtdicke von weniger als 0.05 mm auf.
- In einer dritten Ausführungsform der Fundation werden die zwischen den Gewebelagen angeordneten Zwischenschichten und eine zusätzlich aufgebrachte Oberschicht aus einem leitenden Gummi ausgebildet. Dabei kann die Schichtdicke der Oberschicht aufgrund der ebenfalls aus leitendem Gummi vorgesehenen Zwischenschichten reduziert werden auf eine Schichtdicke von 0.25 bis 1.0 mm, bevorzugterweise 0.5 mm.
- Der für die Ausbildung der Oberschicht wie auch der Zwischenschicht zur Anwendung kommende leitende Gummi weist einen in einem hochohmigen Bereich liegenden elektrischen Widerstand auf, was einen Schutz der Drahthäkchen vor Überspannungen bewirkt. Bei Auftreten von Überspannungen kann eine elektrische Entladung zwischen zwei benachbarten Spitzen der Drahthäkchen hervorgerufen werden. Dies führt zur Zerstörung der Garniturspitzen, respektive zur Veränderung der Spitzenform. Bevorzugterweise weist die Schicht aus leitendem Gummi für die Zwischenschicht wie auch die Oberschicht einen Oberflächenwiderstand von mehr als 100 Ω und weniger als 35 kΩ auf. Um die Kontaktsicherheit zu gewährleisten ist aufgrund der vorgesehenen Schichtdicken der Zwischen- respektive Oberschicht aus leitendem Gummi ein spezifischer elektrischer Durchgangswiderstand von mehr als 10 kΩcm und weniger als 1'000 kΩcm vorzusehen. Die leitende Zwischen- respektive Oberschicht wirkt dadurch wie ein verteilter Widerstand, was dazu führt, dass alle Drahthäkchen mit der gleichen elektrischen Spannung versorgt werden.
- Die Bestimmung von Oberflächenwiderstand und spezifischem Durchgangswiderstand ist auf Grundlage der Norm EN 61340-2-3 (Mai 2000) vorgenommen worden. Zur Messung des Oberflächenwiderstandes wird das Messobjekt auf eine elektrisch isolierende Platte gelegt. Die Messung wird über eine Ringelektrode mit einem Normgewicht von 2.5 kg ausgeführt. Der Messwert muss nicht auf einen spezifischen Wert umgerechnet werden, da die Schichtdicke keine Relevanz hat.
Zur Messung des Durchgangswiderstandes wird das Messobjekt auf eine leitende Platte gelegt. Die Messung wird über eine Ringelektrode mit einem Normgewicht von 2.5 kg ausgeführt. Anschliessend ist eine Umrechnung auf den spezifischen Durchgangswiderstand notwendig, siehe dazu Norm EN 61340-2-3. - Vorteilhafterweise wird der verwendete elektrisch leitende Gummi in seiner Härte an die vorgesehenen Anwendungen und die dazu notwendige Flexibilität angepasst. Für die in Karden zur Bearbeitung von Natur oder chemischen Fasern bekannten Anwendungen beträgt die Härte der eingesetzten Fundationen 40 bis 95 Shore A. Bevorzugterweise werden dabei die Schichten aus leitendem Gummi ebenfalls mit einer Härte von 40 bis 95 Shore A, besonders bevorzugt 50 bis 70 Shore A verwendet.
In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform einer Garnitur sind die Rücken der Drahthäkchen auf der Seite, welche der Fundation gegenüberliegt, mit einer elektrisch isolierenden Schicht überzogen. Dabei können nur die Rücken der Drahthäkchen oder auch die gesamte Garnitur mit einer elektrisch isolierenden Schicht überzogen sein. Die elektrisch isolierende Schicht kann nach einem beliebigen aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Verfahren aufgebracht werden, beispielsweise durch Streichen, Spritzen oder Kleben. Es ist jedoch auch denkbar, dass die isolierende Schicht ohne weitere Befestigung auf die Garnitur vor deren Verwendung eingelegt wird.

Figur 3 zeigt eine schematische Darstellung einer zweiten nicht erfindungsgemäßen Ausführungsform einer Fundation 2. Die Fundation 2 besteht aus fünf Gewebelagen 6 aus einem Baumwollgewebe. Zwischen den einzelnen Gewebelagen 6 ist jeweils eine Zwischenschicht 7 aus einem leitenden Gummi vorgesehen. Die Zwischenschicht 7 aus leitendem Gummi weist eine Schichtdicke a von 0,02 bis 0.2 mm auf. Die Zwischenschicht 7 aus leitendem Gummi ist jeweils nur zwischen den Gewebelagen 6 vorgesehen. Auf der einen Seite der Fundation 2 ist auf der untersten Gewebelage 6 eine Deckschicht 5 aus Kautschuk angebracht. -
Figur 4 zeigt eine schematische Darstellung einer dritten nicht erfindungsgemäßen Ausführungsform einer Fundation 2. Die Fundation 2 wird gebildet aus fünf Gewebelagen 6 und einer, jeweils zwischen den Gewebelagen 6 angeordneten Zwischenschicht 7 aus leitendem Gummi. Die Zwischenschicht 7 aus leitendem Gummi ist jeweils aufgebaut aus einer ersten Lage 10, einer zweiten Lage 11 und einer dritten Lage 12 aus leitendem Gummi. Die einzelnen Lagen 10, 11, 12 aus leitendem Gummi weisen eine Schichtdicke c von weniger als 0.05 mm auf. Auf der einen Seite der Fundation 2 ist auf der untersten Gewebelage 6 eine Deckschicht 5 aus Kautschuk angebracht.
Figur 5 zeigt eine schematische Darstellung einer Ausführungsform einer leitenden Garnitur 20 mit einer Fundation 2. Die Fundation 2 kann dabei ausgebildet sein wie beispielsweise in denFiguren 2 bis 4 gezeigt. Die Drahthäkchen 4 sind durch die gesamte Fundation 2 hindurchgestochen und bilden auf der einen Seite der Fundation 2 die Garniturspitzen 3. Auf der anderen Seite der Fundation 2 ragen die Drahthäkchen 4 mit ihren Rücken 9 aus der Fundation 2 heraus. Die Rücken 9 der Drahthäkchen 4 sind mit einer zusätzlichen elektrisch isolierenden Schicht 15 abgedeckt. Die isolierende Schicht 15 wird erst nach Einbringen der Drahthäkchen 4 in die Fundation 2 aufgebracht. Die isolierende Schicht 15 kann, wie inFigur 4 gezeigt, über die gesamte Breite b der Fundation aufgebracht sein. Es ist jedoch auch eine Anordnung der isolierenden Schicht 15 denkbar, bei welcher die isolierende Schicht 15 nicht die gesamte Breite b der Fundation 2 überdeckt, sondern sich auf die Ausdehnung der Rücken 9 der Drahthäkchen beschränkt. Die isolierende Schicht 15 kann auch ohne Verbindung zur Fundation 2 auf die Rücken 9 der Drahthäkchen 4 aufgebracht sein. Dabei wird die isolierende Schicht 15 durch eine spätere Befestigung der leitenden Garnitur 20, beispielsweise an einem Deckelstab, positioniert und fixiert. -

Claims (11)
- Fundation (2) für eine Garnitur (20) einer Karde welche aus einer Mehrzahl von Schichten (5, 6, 7, 8) aufgebaut ist, wobei zumindest eine Deckschicht (5) aus Kautschuk und zumindest fünf Gewebelagen (6) aus Baumwollgewebe vorgesehen sind, wobei jeweils zwischen den Gewebelagen (6) aus Baumwollgewebe zumindest eine die Gewebelagen (6) verbindende Zwischenschicht (7) vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf einer der Deckschicht (5) gegenüber liegenden Seite der Fundation eine Oberschicht (8) aus einem elektrisch leitenden Gummi mit einer Schichtdicke (e) von 0.5 mm bis 1.0 mm vorgesehen ist.
- Fundation (2) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Oberschicht (8) aus leitendem Gummi eine Schichtdicke (e) von 0.75 mm aufweist.
- Fundation (2) nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zwischenschicht (7) aus einem elektrisch leitenden Gummi mit einer Schichtdicke (a) von 0.02 bis 0.2 mm vorgesehen ist.
- Fundation (2) nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zwischenschicht (7) aus leitendem Gummi eine Schichtdicke (a) von 0.05 bis 0.15 mm aufweist.
- Fundation (2) nach einem der Ansprüche 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zwischenschicht (7) aus leitendem Gummi in mehreren Lagen (10, 11, 12) eingebracht ist.
- Fundation (2) nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zwischenschicht (7) aus leitendem Gummi in mindestens drei Lagen (10, 11, 12) eingebracht ist, wobei jede Lage (10, 11, 12) eine Schichtdicke (c) von weniger als 0.05 mm aufweist.
- Fundation (2) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schicht (7, 8) aus elektrisch leitendem Gummi einen Oberflächenwiderstand von mehr als 100 Ω und weniger als 35 kΩ aufweist.
- Fundation (2) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schicht (7, 8) aus elektrisch leitendem Gummi einen spezifischen elektrischen Durchgangswiderstand von mehr als 10 kΩcm und weniger als 1'000 kΩcm aufweist.
- Fundation (2) nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schicht (7, 8) aus elektrisch leitendem Gummi eine Härte von 40 bis 95 Shore A aufweist.
- Garnitur (20) für eine Karde mit einer Fundation (2) und einer Vielzahl von Garniturspitzen (3), wobei die Garniturspitzen (3) aus U-förmigen, durch die Fundation (2) hindurch gestochenen Drahthäkchen (4) mit zwei Spitzen (3) und einem die beiden Spitzen (3) verbindenden Rücken (9) gebildet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Fundation (2) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9 ausgebildet ist.
- Garnitur (20) nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rücken (9) der Drahthäkchen (4) mit einer elektrisch isolierenden Schicht (15) überzogen sind.
