Definitions

  • the invention relates to a foundation for a set of a card and a set with this foundation.
  • the fibers are processed after their cleaning and opening in a carding or carding machine, parallelized and provided in the form of fleece or slivers for further processing.
  • sets are used at various points in a card or card, for example on drums, lids or rollers.
  • the mainly used for this purpose trimmings are flexible or semi-rigid trimmings as well as all-steel sets.
  • flexible or semi-rigid sets of wire hooks are used, which are held in a foundation.
  • the foundation consists of one or more layers constructed of fleece or fabric layers. The various layers are joined together by bonding, vulcanizing or other thermal treatments to a foundation. Different tasks are assigned to the different layers, for example reinforcement of the foundation or determination of the flexibility.
  • the layers are determined in number and material composed.
  • foundations made of plastic are used, for example in semi-rigid trimmings.
  • the wire tokens are usually designed as U-shaped DoppelHokchen and pierced from one to the other side of the foundation and form with the wire ends the clothing tips.
  • Such a clothing with a layered foundation reveals the JP H07 166437 A .
  • the disclosed JP H07 40778 U a flexible set in which the wire hooks are designed as U-shaped Doppelphasekchen and pierced from one to the other side of the foundation and form with the wire ends the clothing tips.
  • the trimmings used in the various processes and machines must always fulfill more extensive functions.
  • the sets are to be provided with a high degree of precision, since there is a gap of less than 0.2 mm between the sets of the various elements hen is.
  • an electronic measurement of the carding distance is known from the prior art. In this case, a certain electrical voltage is applied to the wire hooks of the clothing and via an electrical discharge or a contact between the clothing tips of the opposing elements determines a distance between the clothing tips.
  • a certain electrical voltage is applied to the wire hooks of the clothing and via an electrical discharge or a contact between the clothing tips of the opposing elements determines a distance between the clothing tips.
  • such a measurement requires that a controlled and secure electrical connection to the individual wire hooks of a clothing is given.
  • the DE 648 230 a clothing with a foundation of different fabric layers, wherein in the foundation a cover layer or an intermediate layer of an electrically conductive rubber is provided.
  • the electrically conductive cover layer is provided on the side of the foundation, on which the protruding from the foundation tips of the wire hooks form the clothing tips.
  • the electrical conductivity in the disclosed embodiment serves to dissipate the static electricity. Due to the process of carding, the trimmings can be statically charged, which in turn negatively influences the carding process. To remedy this situation, an electrically conductive foundation was created. In the supplement reveals the DE 739 687 an additional electrically conductive layer at the bottom of the foundation.
  • the DE 198 26 542 C2 also discloses an electrically conductive foundation for dissipating the electrostatic charges. It has been proposed to provide at least in the cover layer electrically conductive material in the form of fine electrically conductive wires, wire sections or other electrically conductive particles. Important for the discharge of electrostatic charges is a conductive cover layer, wherein the cover layer in the foundation is on the side of the clothing tips. The side of the clothing tips is that side of a clothing which is assigned to the card drum. The admixture of electrically conductive material in the foundation their mechanical properties are changed. A random accumulation of the additions may result in partially disadvantageous properties.
  • an electrical resistance adapted to the needs of the conductor in this case the electrically conductive cover layer, is necessary for the initiation of an electrical voltage.
  • the magnitude of the electrical resistance is not important for the dissipation of static electricity as long as the electrical resistance is low.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a foundation, which results in a high contact reliability for each individual wire tokens and causes by a corresponding resistance effect protection of the wire tokens from overvoltage. This object is solved by the features of the independent claims.
  • the object is achieved in a first embodiment by a foundation for a clothing of a card which is constructed from a plurality of layers, wherein at least one cover layer of rubber and at least five fabric layers of cotton fabric are provided.
  • At least one intermediate layer connecting the fabric layers is provided.
  • an upper layer of an electrically conductive rubber with a layer thickness of 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm is provided on a side of the foundation opposite the cover layer.
  • a foundation for a garnish of a card which is constructed from a plurality of layers, wherein at least one cover layer of rubber and at least five fabric layers of cotton fabric are provided.
  • at least one intermediate layer connecting the fabric layers is provided between the fabric layers of cotton fabric.
  • the intermediate layer is made of a conductive rubber.
  • both the top layer and the intermediate layer are made of a conductive rubber.
  • the cover layer which is applied on the side of the clothing tips on the foundation, serves to form an easy-to-clean surface of the clothing and adjust the flexibility of the clothing tips in their movements during a carding process.
  • the upper layer provided in a first embodiment which is arranged on the side of the foundation opposite the cover layer, is formed from a conductive rubber.
  • the layer thickness of the upper layer is 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm, preferably 0.75 mm. Due to the high thickness of the upper layer results in a high contact reliability for the individual pierced through the foundation wire hooks.
  • the wire hooks are stung from the top through the foundation and come so to lie with their backs on the upper class. By the setting process, the backs of the wire hooks are pressed into the upper layer, which leads to a further improvement of the contact.
  • a high contact reliability is achieved by the arrangement of the intermediate layers of conductive rubber between the individual fabric layers. Even with movements of the wire hooks respectively the clothing tips, this has only a minor effect on the contact points of the wire hooks.
  • neither the formed shape of the clothing tips formed with the wire hooks nor the wire form used to form the wire hooks have an influence on the contact reliability. Due to the different applications of trimmings the clothing tips are exposed to greater or lesser movements, which also leads to no deterioration in the contacts of the individual wire hooks to the intermediate layers of conductive rubber even with larger movements.
  • the intermediate layers of conductive rubber have a layer thickness of 0.02 mm to 0.2 mm.
  • the intermediate layers of conductive rubber have a layer thickness of 0.05 mm to 0.15 mm.
  • the intermediate layers of conductive Rubber is used to connect the individual layers of fabric. The compound is achieved by a vulcanization process. This is known from the prior art.
  • the respective intermediate layer of conductive rubber is introduced in several layers.
  • the intermediate layer of conductive rubber is introduced into at least three layers.
  • Each layer has a layer thickness of less than 0.05 mm.
  • the intermediate layers arranged between the fabric layers and an additionally applied upper layer are formed from a conductive rubber.
  • the layer thickness of the upper layer can be reduced due to the likewise provided conductive rubber intermediate layers to a layer thickness of 0.25 to 1.0 mm, preferably 0.5 mm.
  • the conductive rubber used for the formation of the top layer as well as the intermediate layer has an electrical resistance in a high-resistance region, which causes protection of the wire hooks from overvoltages. When overvoltages occur, an electrical discharge can be caused between two adjacent tips of the wire hooks. This leads to the destruction of the clothing tips, respectively to change the tip shape.
  • the layer of conductive rubber for the intermediate layer as well as the upper layer has a surface resistance of more than 100 ⁇ and less than 35 k ⁇ . In order to ensure contact safety, it is necessary to provide a specific electrical contact resistance of more than 10 k ⁇ cm and less than 1 000 k ⁇ cm, due to the intended layer thicknesses of the intermediate or top layer of conductive rubber.
  • the conductive intermediate or upper layer thus acts as a distributed resistor, which means that all wire hooks are supplied with the same electrical voltage.
  • the determination of surface resistance and volume resistivity has been made on the basis of standard EN 61340-2-3 (March 2000).
  • the measurement object is placed on an electrically insulating plate. The measurement is carried out via a ring electrode with a standard weight of 2.5 kg. The measured value does not have to be converted to a specific value since the layer thickness has no relevance.
  • the test object is placed on a conductive plate. The measurement is carried out via a ring electrode with a standard weight of 2.5 kg. Subsequently, a conversion to the volume resistivity is necessary, see standard EN 61340-2-3.
  • FIG. 3 shows a schematic representation of a second non-inventive embodiment of a foundation 2.
  • the foundation 2 consists of five layers of fabric 6 made of a cotton fabric. Between the individual fabric layers 6, an intermediate layer 7 made of a conductive rubber is provided in each case.
  • the intermediate layer 7 made of conductive rubber has a layer thickness a of 0.02 to 0.2 mm.
  • the intermediate layer 7 of conductive rubber is only provided between the fabric layers 6.
  • a cover layer 5 made of rubber is attached to the lowermost fabric layer 6.
  • FIG. 4 shows a schematic representation of a third non-inventive embodiment of a foundation 2.
  • the foundation 2 is formed of five layers of fabric 6 and one, in each case between the fabric layers 6 arranged intermediate layer 7 of conductive rubber.
  • the intermediate layer 7 of conductive rubber is in each case made up of a first layer 10, a second layer 11 and a third layer 12 of conductive rubber.
  • the individual layers 10, 11, 12 of conductive rubber have a layer thickness c of less than 0.05 mm.
  • a cover layer 5 made of rubber is attached to the lowermost fabric layer 6.
  • FIG. 5 shows a schematic representation of an embodiment of a conductive clothing 20 with a foundation 2.
  • the foundation 2 can be formed as for example in the FIGS. 2 to 4 shown.
  • the wire hooks 4 are pierced through the entire foundation 2 and form on one side of the foundation 2 the clothing tips 3. On the other side of the foundation 2 protrude the wire hooks 4 with their backs 9 from the foundation 2 out.
  • the backs 9 of the wire hooks 4 are covered with an additional electrically insulating layer 15.
  • the insulating layer 15 is applied after the introduction of the wire hooks 4 in the foundation 2.
  • the insulating layer 15 may, as in FIG. 4 shown to be applied over the entire width b of the foundation. However, it is also an arrangement of the insulating layer 15 is conceivable in which the insulating layer 15 does not cover the entire width b of the foundation 2, but limited to the extension of the back 9 of the wire hook.
  • the insulating layer 15 can also be applied to the backs 9 of the wire hooks 4 without connection to the foundation 2. This is the insulating layer 15 by a subsequent attachment of the conductive clothing 20, for example, on a flat bar, positioned and fixed.
