Die Erfindung betrifft einen WC-Aufsatz, mit einer Duscheinrichtung (3) und einer Wasserabsicherung (4), die mit der Duscheinrichtung in Leitungsverbindung steht. Der WC-Aufsatz ist erfindungsgemäß gekennzeichnet durch einen Kanal (11) zum Ableiten von Leckage der Wasserabsicherung (4). Der erfindungsgemäße Kanal gestattet eine flexible Anordnung der Wasserabsicherung.

Description

WC-AUFSATZ MIT DUSCHEINRICHTUNG
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft einen WC-Aufsatz, mit einer
Duscheinrichtung und einer Wasserabsicherung, die mit der Duscheinrichtung in Leitungsverbindung steht.
WCs mit Duscheinrichtung sind auch als „Dusch-WCs" bekannt. Aus dem Markt bekannte Dusch-WCs weisen eine integrierte Duschfunktion für den Anal- und/oder Genitalbereich des Benutzers auf. Hierzu ist am Ende der Duscheinrichtung eine Düse angeordnet, durch die das Wasser in Richtung auf die zu reinigende Stelle austritt. Die Düse ist in aller Regel ausfahrbar, und zwar entweder elektromechanisch oder unter Wasserdruck. Im letzterem Fall wird der Wasserdruck für die Speisung der Düse verwendet.
Die Duscheinrichtung wird über ein Ventil gesteuert, über das die Wasserzufuhr geöffnet und gesperrt wird. Die Betätigung kann beispielsweise manuell - also durch Aufdrehen des Ventils - oder elektromechanisch erfolgen, wobei bei der
BESTÄTIGUNGSKOPIE elektromechanischen Steuerung ein Impuls ausgelöst wird, der ein Öffnen oder Schließen des Ventils bewirkt. Zusätzlich kann häufig die Durchflussmenge reguliert werden.
Dusch-WCs mit einer integralen Unterdusche sind hochentwickelte WCs, die je nach Ausstattung über weitere Funktionen verfügen, wie zum Beispiel Trockenfunktion, Heizfunktion des WC-Sitzes und dergleichen. Derartige Dusch-WCs haben sich grundsätzlich bewährt. Ihre Komplexität macht sie jedoch sehr teuer. Man ist daher dazu übergegangen als Alternative zu Dusch-WCs mit einer integralen Duscheinrichtung Duscheinrichtungen als Nachrüstteil für herkömmliche WCs anzubieten. Hierbei kommt der erfindungsgemäße WC-Aufsatz zum Einsatz .
Aus der DE 20 2006 013 209 Ul ist ein WC-Aufsatz bekannt, der als Zusatzmodul zu einem herkömmlichen WC nachrüstbar ist. Der WC-Aufsatz weist eine Duscheinrichtung und eine Wasserabsicherung auf, die auf einer Bodenplatte montiert und über eine schlauchartige Leitung miteinander verbunden sind. Bei der Wasserabsicherung handelt es sich um einen freien Auslauf mit Injektor. Hierbei wird ein Wasserstrahl über einen Freiraum hinweg in eine Aufnahme gespritzt, die trichterartig ausgebildet ist. Durch den Freiraum kann das Wasser nicht zurück zum Injektor laufen. Eine Verunreinigung des Wasser ist dadurch unmöglich.
Die Leckage läuft unmittelbar von der Wasserabsicherung in das WC-Becken. Hierzu greift die Wasserabsicherung in eine in der Bodenplatte ausgebildete Aussparung ein, die über dem WC-Becken angeordnet ist. Der bekannte WC-Aufsatz gestattet eine kostengünstige
Nachrüstung von herkömmlichen WCs. Für die Unterduschfunktion ist lediglich ein gesonderter Wasseranschluss erforder- lieh.
Allerdings wurde gefunden, dass der Aufbau des bekannten WC- Aufsatzes nicht optimal ist. Insbesondere ist durch den Durchgriff der Wasserabsicherung durch die Bodenplatte hindurch die Position der Wasserabsicherung festgelegt.
Hier greift die Erfindung ein.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, den bekannten WC- Aufsatz insbesondere in Hinblick auf seinen Aufbau zu optimieren .
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe weist der eingangs genannte WC- Aufsatz erfindungsgemäß einen Kanal auf, durch den die
Leckage der Wasserabsicherung abgeleitet wird.
Der Erfindung liegt die Erkenntnis zugrunde, dass die relative Anordnung der Wasserabsicherung zu der
Duscheinrichtung einen wesentlichen Einfluss auf deren
Funktionalität hat. Tests haben ergeben, dass ein möglichst kurzer Leitungsweg möglichst ohne Krümmung zu einer deutlich geringeren Leckage und gleichzeitig zu einer höheren
Durchflussmenge führt. Bei dem bekannten WC-Aufsatz ist die Position der
Wasserabsicherung in Bezug auf die Duscheinrichtung vorgegeben. Der erfindungsgemäße Kanal hingegen gestattet eine deutlich flexiblere Anordnung der Wasserabsicherung, die insbesondere so getroffen wird, dass die
Wasserabsicherung unweit der Duscheinrichtung angeordnet wird. Die Leckage wird durch den Kanal abgeleitet.
Bei einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsform der Erfindung befindet sich der Wasseranschluss der Duscheinrichtung in der hinteren Hälfte der Duscheinrichtung. Konsequenterweise wird es als vorteilhaft angesehen, auch die
Wasserabsicherung frei, vorzugsweise im hinteren Bereich des WC-Aufsatzes, anzuordnen. Dabei gestattet der
erfindungsgemäße Kanal eine optimale Platzierung der
Wasserabsicherung. Der Kanal sorgt für eine sichere
Ableitung von Leckage, Spritzwasser oder dergleichen in das WC-Becken.
Wie auch im Stand der Technik ist die Wasserabsicherung mit der Duscheinrichtung über eine schlauchartige Leitung verbunden. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass eine maximale
Schlauchlänge von 10 cm einen Betrieb mit minimaler Leckage gewährleistet .
Vorzugsweise weist der WC-Aufsatz eine Bodenplatte auf. Eine derartige Konstruktion bietet den Vorteil, dass sämtliche
Komponenten auf der Bodenplatte angeordnet sein können. Dies erleichtert zum einen die Wartung. Zum anderen bietet eine (vorteilhafterweise einteilige) Bodenplatte auch eine stabile Grundlage für den Gesamtaufbau des WC-Aufsatzes. Die Bodenplatte besteht vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff und kann beispielsweise als Spritzgussteil hergestellt sein. Als besonders vorteilhaft wird es angesehen, wenn der Kanal integral mit der Bodenplatte ausgebildet ist.
In wesentlicher Weiterbildung der Erfindung wird
vorgeschlagen, dass die Bodenplatte einen vorzugsweise als Öffnung ausgebildeten Auslass aufweist, in dem der Kanal mündet. Durch den Auslass gelangt die Leckage vorteilhaft in das WC-Becken, und zwar durch die Bodenplatte hindurch nach unten. Der Auslass hat neben dem erheblichen Vorteil der direkten Ableitung auch den Vorteil, dass er für den
Benutzer nicht sichtbar ist. Die Bodenplatte wird man auf dem WC-Becken befestigen. Ihre Positionierung sollte zweckmäßig so erfolgen, dass die
Leckage in das WC-Becken gelangen kann. Eine vorteilhafte Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Auslass im Frontbereich der Bodenplatte angeordnet ist. Eine derartige Konstruktion gestattet es, dass sich lediglich ein geringer Teil der Bodenplatte über die Öffnung des WC-Beckens erstreckt, was neben dem Vorteil einer besseren Zugänglichkeit der WC-Beckenöffnung zu
Reinigungszwecken auch den Vorteil einer stabilen und gleichzeitig kompakten Gesamtkonstruktion bedeutet.
Vorzugsweise weist der Kanal Seitenwände auf. Die
Seitenwände können beispielsweise integral mit der
Bodenplatte ausgebildet sein und von der Bodenplatte nach oben abgehen. Der Kanal ist vorteilhaft zumindest teilweise nach oben hin offen. Die erleichtert unter anderem eine gute Zugänglichkeit bei einer Inspektion und/oder Reinigung des WC-Aufsatzes .
Eingangs wurde bereits angesprochen, dass es von Vorteil sein kann, die Wasserabsicherung im hinteren Bereich des WC- Aufsatzes bzw. dessen Bodenplatte anzuordnen. Insoweit wird es als vorteilhaft angesehen, wenn sich der Kanal von hinten nach vorne erstreckt. Vorzugsweise mündet er - in seitlicher Erstreckungsrichtung des WC-Aufsatzes gesehen - im mittleren Drittel des WC-Aufsatzes. Bei einer vorteilhaften
Konstruktion ist die Düse im wesentlichen mittig angeordnet. Benachbart mündet der Kanal.
Um sicherzustellen, dass die Leckage (oder Spritzwasser oder dergleichen) abgeleitet wird, ist eine vorteilhafte
Ausführungsform der Erfindung dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kanal nach vorne hin abfällt. Dadurch ist vorteilhaft sichergestellt, dass das Wasser nach vorne fließt und es nicht zu einem Wasserstau kommt, der unter anderem auch hygienische Nachteile haben könnte.
Der WC-Aufsatz kann so konstruiert sein, dass er eine
Befestigungseinrichtung aufweist, mittels der er am WC- Becken festlegbar ist. Die Befestigungseinrichtung kann so ausgebildet sein, dass der WC-Aufsatz unmittelbar auf der
WC-Keramik befestigt wird. Alternativ und bevorzugt wird auf dem WC-Becken eine Grundplatte montiert, und der WC-Aufsatz wird durch die Befestigungseinrichtung auf der Grundplatte montiert. Vorteilhafterweise ist vorgesehen, dass der Kanal die Befestigungseinrichtung überbrückt. Das" Wasser kann also abgeleitet werden, ohne dass der Abfluss durch die
Befestigungseinrichtung behindert wird.
In der Praxis sollte sichergestellt sein, dass sämtlicher Wasserverlust durch den Kanal aufgefangen wird. Hierzu wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Wasserabsicherung über dem Kanal ■ angeordnet ist, und zwar vorteilhaft derart, dass Leckage von der Wasserabsicherung vorzugsweise unmittelbar nach unten in den Kanal abtropft. Insbesondere kann vorgesehen sein, dass die Wasserabsicherung vorzugsweise teilweise in den Kanal eingreift.
Wie eingangs bereits dargelegt, bietet der erfindungsgemäße Kanal die Möglichkeit einer (weitgehend) freien
Positionierung der Wasserabsicherung in Bezug auf die
Duscheinrichtung. Diese freie Positionierung kann zur
Optimierung des Wirkungsgrades der Gesamtanordnung (geringe Leckage, gesteigerte Durchflussmenge) und zur Absicherung ggf. nicht im Trinkwasserbereich zugelassener Materialien am Wassereingang des WC-Aufsatzes genutzt werden. Ein weiterer wesentlicher Vorteil des Kanals besteht darüber hinaus darin, dass die Wasserabsicherung so platziert werden kann, dass zur Wartung nicht, wie im Stand der Technik, das
Gehäuse der Wasserabsicherung und/oder der Deckel des WC- Aufsatzes geöffnet werden muss. Vielmehr ist es in
Weiterbildung der Erfindung möglich, die Wartung von außen vorzunehmen. Hierzu weist der WC-Aufsatz vorzugsweise einen Deckel auf, in dem eine Wartungsöffnung ausgebildet ist, wobei die Wasserabsicherung vorteilhaft benachbart zu der Wartungsöffnung angeordnet ist. Die Wartungsöffnung kann mit einem Abdeckplättchen, einem Pfropfen oder dergleichen verschlossen sein.
Als konstruktiv vorteilhaft wird ein WC-Aufsatz angesehen, bei dem auf der Bodenplatte die Duscheinrichtung, die
Wasserabsicherung, der Kanal und vorzugsweise auch ein
Ventil angeordnet sind, das mit der Wasserabsicherung in Leitungsverbindung steht. Sämtliche wichtigen Komponenten sind also mit der Bodenplatte verbunden, was insbesondere eine einfache Handhabbarkeit des Aufsatzes (zum Beispiel bei der Montage) schafft.
Im Folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels im Zusammenhang mit er anhängenden Zeichnung näher erläutert. Die Zeichnung zeigt in: eine perspektivische Ansicht eines
erfindungsgemäßen WC-Aufsatzes in geöffnetem
Zustand; in einer perspektivischen Darstellung den WC' Aufsatz nach Figur 1 mit Deckel; und
Figur 3 in schematischer Darstellung eine Montageplatte zur Befestigung des WC-Aufsatzes an einem WC-
Becken .
Figur 1 zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines
erfindungsgemäßen WC-Aufsatzes. Der WC-Aufsatz weist eine Bodenplatte 1 auf, auf der ein Ventil 2, eine
Duscheinrichtung 3 und eine Wasserabsicherung 4 angeordnet sind. Das Ventil 2, die Duscheinrichtung 3 und die
Wasserabsicherung 4 sind über eine Leitung 5, die
vorteilhaft aus mehreren Leitungsabschnitten besteht, miteinander verbunden.
Das Ventil 2 weist einen Wasseranschluss 6 und einen
Betätigungsknopf 7 auf. Der WC-Aufsatz wird über den
Wasseranschluss 6 zur Wasserversorgung an eine (nicht gezeigte) Wasserleitung angeschlossen. Über den
Betätigungsknopf 7 wird die Wassermenge geregelt, die aus der Duscheinrichtung austreten soll.

Gehäuseabschnitt 8 und einen unter Wasserdruck ausfahrbaren Düsenabschnitt 9 auf, an dessen Ende sich eine Düse 10 befindet. Aus der Düse 10 tritt das Wasser zur Reinigung aus .
Zwischen dem Ventil 2 und der Duscheinrichtung 3 ist die Wasserabsicherung 4 angeordnet. Die Wasserabsicherung 4 weist einen (nicht sichtbaren) Injektor auf, bei dem ein
Wasserstrahl über einen freien Abschnitt gespritzt wird.
Eine derartige Wasserabsicherung ist vorzugsweise horizontal angeordnet. Dies bedeutet, dass der Wasserstrahl horizontal über den freien Abschnitt geht. Bei einem Rückläufen von
Wasser ist durch den Freiraum eine Verschmutzung des
Leitungswassers ausgeschlossen.
Im Betrieb kann bei der Wasserabsicherung 4 Leckage
anfallen. Diese Leckage (oder Spritzwasser oder dergleichen) wird durch einen Kanal 11 in das WC-Becken abgeleitet. Hierzu weist die Bodenplatte 1 eine Öffnung 12 auf, in der der Kanal 11 mündet. Durch die Öffnung 12 gelangt die
Leckage in das WC-Becken. Die Öffnung ist im mittleren
Drittel der Breite der Bodenplatte angeordnet. Hier weist die Öffnung des WC-Beckens ihre maximale Erstreckung auf.
Der Kanal 11 weist Seitenwände 13 auf und ist bevorzugt integral mit der Bodenplatte 1 ausgebildet. Der Kanalboden 14 weist zur Öffnung 12 hin ein Gefälle auf. Eventuelles Wasser wird also sicher abgeleitet ohne die Gefahr von
Standwasser .
Die Wasserabsicherung 4 weist einen Abstandshalter auf, der vorzugsweise Gitter 15 ausgebildet sein kann, das
Spritzwasser unmittelbar in den Kanal 11 ableitet. Der
Abstandshalter weist eine Höhe (maximale Erstreckung) von mindestens 2 cm auf. Dies gewährleistet besonders
vorteilhaft die Einhaltung trinkwasserspezifischer Vorgaben. Die Wasserabsicherung greift (vorliegend mit dem Gitter 15) in den Kanal 11 ein und schafft damit ein sicheres Auffangen sämtlichen Spritzwassers.
Der WC-Aufsatz ist über eine Befestigungseinrichtung an dem WC-Becken befestigbar. Hierzu weist der WC-Aufsatz eine Betätigungseinrichtung 16, die in Eingriff mit einer auf dem WC-Becken vormontierten Montageplatte 17 (siehe Figur 3) bringbar ist. Der Kanal 11 überspannt die
Betätigungseinrichtung 16. Im Übrigen sei anhand des Koordinatensystems noch einmal verdeutlicht, was unter den Ortsangaben Oben (0) , Unten (U) , Vorne (V) und Hinten (bzw. Rückseite) (H) verstanden wird. Diese orientieren sich an der üblichen Bezeichnung anhand eines WCs. Dies gilt auch für die Bezugnahmen auf die
Duscheinrichtung. Aus Figur 1 wird auch deutlich, dass die Wasserabsicherung 4 im hinteren Bereich der Bodenplatte 1 angeordnet ist und dass der Kanal 11 von hinten nach vorne verläuft .
Figur 2 zeigt den WC-Aufsatz nach Figur 1 mit einem Gehäuse- deckel 18. Der WC-Aufsatz weist ferner zwei Drehzapfen 19, 20 auf, auf denen ein WC-Sitz schwenkbar gelagert wird. Die Drehzapfen sind stationär gehalten. In dem Gehäuse ist eine seitliche Öffnung 21 ausgebildet. Diese Öffnung 21 fluchtet vorzugsweise mit der Wasserabsicherung 4. Durch diese
Maßnahme ist die Wasserabsicherung 4 durch die Öffnung 21 beispielsweise zu Wartungszwecken zugänglich, ohne dass der Deckel 18 abgenommen werden muss.
Figur 3 zeigt eine Montageplatte 17, die auf einem WC-Becken vormontiert werden kann. Die Montageplatte 17 weist zwei Langlöcher 22 auf, durch die hindurch (nicht gezeigte)
Schrauben oder Gewindezapfen greifen, mit denen die
Montageplatte an dem WC-Becken befestigt werden. Der WC- Aufsatz wird auf die Montageplatte 17 aufgeschoben. Zur Verankerung der Bodenplatte 1 weist die Montageplatte 17 schienenartige Stege 23 auf, die in entsprechende
Ausnehmungen der Bodenplatte eingreifen. Bezugzeichenliste

Patentansprüche
WC-Aufsatz, mit
- einer Duscheinrichtung (3) und
- einer Wasserabsicherung (4), die mit der
Duscheinrichtung in Leitungsverbindung steht
gekennzeichnet durch
- einen Kanal (11) zum Ableiten von Leckage der
Wasserabsicherung (4).
WC-Aufsatz nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der WC-Aufsatz eine Bodenplatte (1) aufweist, auf der vorzugsweise die Duscheinrichtung, die Wasserabsicherung und der Kanal angeordnet sind.
WC-Aufsatz nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, der Kanal (11) integral mit der Bodenplatte (1)
ausgebildet ist.
4. WC-Aufsatz nach Ansprüche 2 oder 3, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass die Bodenplatte (1) einen Auslass
(12) aufweist, in dem Kanal (11) mündet.
5. WC-Aufsatz nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Auslass (12) im Frontbereich der Bodenplatte (1) angeordnet ist.
6. WC-Aufsatz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Kanal (11) Seitenwände (13) aufweist . 7. WC-Aufsatz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass sich der Kanal (11) von hinten nach vorne erstreckt, wobei er vorzugsweise - in seitlicher Erstreckungsrichtung des WC-Aufsatzes gesehen - im mittleren Drittel des WC-Aufsatzes mündet.
8. WC-Aufsatz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass der Kanal (11) nach vorne hin abfällt . 9. WC-Aufsatz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass der WC-Aufsatz eine
Befestigungseinrichtung (16) zur Befestigung an einem WC-Becken aufweist und dass der Kanal (11) die
Befestigungseinrichtung überbrückt .
10. WC-Aufsatz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, dass die Wasserabsicherung (4) teilweise in den Kanal (11) eingreift. 11. WC-Aufsatz nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der WC-Aufsatz einen Deckel (18) aufweist, in dem eine Wartungsöffnung (21) ausgebildet ist, wobei vorzugsweise die Wasserabsicherung (4) benachbart zu der Wartungsöffnung angeordnet ist.
