Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil (1) pour l'usinage par enlèvement de copeaux comprenant un support de base (11), un logement de plaque (5), une griffe de serrage (4) pourvue d'un bras (7) et d'une tête (8) et une plaque de coupe (10). Pour, d'une part, accroître la vie utile ou encore la durée de vie des plaques de coupe et, d'autre part, pour broyer ou maintenir courts les longs copeaux produits lors de l'usinage, selon l'invention la griffe de serrage (4) est reliée au support de base (11) et au moins un conduit de liquide de refroidissement (6) est guidé dans l'outil à travers le support de base (11) et la griffe de serrage (4) jusqu'à la tête (8) de la griffe de serrage et débouche dans au moins une buse de décharge (3) sur la tête (8) de la griffe de serrage.
