Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une pièce en forme de pot (80, 100) à partir d'une ébauche plane (1). La pièce en forme de pot (80, 100) présente une zone de fond sensiblement plane (82, 102) et une enveloppe périphérique (81, 101) raccordée à celle-ci et dépassant de la zone de fond (82,102). L'ébauche (1) présente sensiblement sur toute sa surface une première épaisseur de matériau (D) et sur la zone de fond (82,102) une seconde épaisseur de matériau (D9) qui est supérieure à la première épaisseur (D). Selon l'invention, le procédé est caractérisé au moins par les étapes suivantes : a) déformation de l'ébauche plane (1) en une pièce brute en forme de pot (17, 30, 50) au cours d'au moins une étape d'emboutissage avec une zone de fond sensiblement plane (15, 32, 52) et une enveloppe périphérique (16, 31, 51) raccordée à celle-ci et dépassant de la zone de fond (15, 32, 52), b) déformation de cette pièce brute en forme de pot (17, 30, 50) dans un outil comportant une matrice (71) se terminant en cône et un élément de poussée (75), de préférence à course commandée, qui exerce une poussée sur la surface périphérique de l'enveloppe (16, 31, 51) de la pièce brute (17, 30, 50) dans la direction axiale contre la matrice (71) se terminant en cône. Au cours de l'étape b), la zone de fond (15, 32, 52) de la pièce brute (17, 30, 50) est serrée au moins par endroits entre un éjecteur (72) et un serre-flan (70) et la matrice se terminant en cône (71) s'étend sur la zone de fond (15, 32, 52) de la pièce brute (17, 30, 50) radialement vers l'extérieur et présente un rétrécissement de diamètre dans le sens de la course de l'outil.
