Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé pour la fabrication d'une boîte métallique 38 à partir d'un flan circulaire suivant lequel on applique successivement à ce flan au moins une opération d'emboutissage, une opération d'étirage, et à nouveau une opération d'emboutissage. Suivant l'invention, la réduction d'épaisseur de paroi lors de l'opération d'étirage est limitée à au plus 25 %. Application notamment à la fabrication de boîtes de conserves dont le rapport de la hauteur au diamètre est compris entre 1 et 1,5.
