Abstract

Afin de traiter de l'eau de lestage, on ajoute de l'acide paracétique d'équilibrage et de la catalase à l'eau de lestage au moment de l'admission d'eau de lestage dans un navire, l'acide paracétique d'équilibrage étant ajouté à raison de 5 à 50 mg/l et la catalase étant ajoutée à raison d'une quantité qui, dans l'eau de lestage, décompose en 120 h la teneur de peroxyde d'hydrogène introduit avec l'acide paracétique d'équilibrage jusqu'à moins de 2 mg/l. Est adapté au traitement de l'eau de lestage un dispositif comprenant un réservoir d'eau de lestage (1), une conduite (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) pour remplir le réservoir d'eau de lestage et une conduite (8, 9, 3, 4, 10) pour vidanger le réservoir d'eau de lestage, des dispositifs de dosage de l'acide paracétique d'équilibrage (15) et de la catalase (16) étant reliés à la conduite de remplissage du réservoir d'eau de lestage et un dispositif de dosage (17) d'un agent réducteur étant relié à la conduite de vidange du réservoir d'eau de lestage.
