Description

The invention relates to a fire-resistant glazing to prevent the passage of fire and smoke in case of fire from one room to another with a flush-fitted door leaf, a top panel arranged above and on both sides of the door panel and the top panel frameless glass surfaces as lateral fixed elements.

A generic fire-resistant glazing is from the German utility model DE 20 2011 106 510 U1 known. Therein, a fire-resistant glazing is disclosed with a plurality of juxtaposed glass surfaces of fire protection windows, in which a glass door is flush-mounted profile-free integrated. This is essentially made possible by the fact that the fire protection windows have two glass panes spaced parallel from one another by means of an edge seal and the space between the glass panes enclosed by the edge seal is filled with a fire protection gel, wherein the edge seal of the fire protection panes adjoin the glass door in the region of the abutting edges forming a groove is offset inwards, and in the region of the lateral and / or upper abutting edges of the glass door, the first of the glass panes of the glass door with respect to the second jumps back to form a Stufenfalzes. By forming the abutting edges of the glass door on the one hand and the corresponding shaping of the abutting edges of the lateral fixed elements, a stop area is created, which allows the flush mount the glass door in the fire-resistant glazing. In addition, this stop area can still be equipped by means of the groove provided in the abutting edges with other functionalities, such as with a smoke seal and / or other fire protection measures, without requiring the use of a frame for this purpose.

Disadvantageously, commercially available wooden doors can not be flush-fitted in such a fire-resistant glazing, since their door leaves are struck on a frame. For this purpose, various frame shapes and materials are known, for example, door frames made of wood, Futterzargen or steel frames. These look visually annoying in a fire-resistant glazing, because they break the desired unbroken flat appearance of the glazing and destroy the clear simple design character. In modern architecture, however, it is precisely the minimalist design principle that embodies and visualizes elemental values that is of paramount importance.

The invention is in view of this fact the task to improve a fire-resistant glazing of the type mentioned in such a way that even wooden door leaves without framing and without visible fittings flush with the glass environment can be integrated without affecting the fire protection properties.

The object is achieved by the combination of the following features on a fire-resistant glazing of the type mentioned:
  • Each glass surface consists of a fire protection pane which has two glass panes which are spaced apart from one another in parallel by means of an edge seal, the space enclosed by the edge seal being filled with a fire protection gel between the panes of glass,
  • the marginal composite of the fire-resistant windows is offset in the region of the abutting edges, which adjoin the door leaf directly, forming a groove,
  • in the area of the side edges of the door leaf jumps one of the glass panes of the fire protection discs relative to the other to form a Stufenfalzes,
  • the door leaf is made of wood and / or wood materials and is corresponding to those formed on the glass surfaces Stepped rabbets provided with corresponding strip-shaped stop profiles and
  • the door leaf is pivotally mounted with concealed fittings in the floor (floor spring) and on the upper panel (pivot bearing).

Surprisingly, it has been found that, despite the comparatively thin wooden door leaf, the flush-fitting flush fit into a fire-resistant glazing is made possible by the combination of the above features without impairing the fire safety. In this case, it is especially advantageous to provide the groove of the edge seal of the fire protection panes at the abutting edges with a glued-in strip of wood, potassium silicate and / or an intumescent profile, optionally combined, into which a recess corresponding to the abutment profile for the flush-mounted installation of the door leaf Form of a stepped rebate is provided. It may be advantageous to improve the fire protection according to an embodiment of the invention to provide the bar and / or the door leaf at the abutting edges with an intumescent material that closes existing column between solid element and movable element of fire-resistant glazing in case of fire.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the top panel is also made of wood, to allow a concealed receiving the upper pivot bearing of the door panel in a simple manner. To hold the top panel to the side fixed elements of fire protection is provided to run the edge of the edge edge arranged in the groove of the edge strip in the area of the top panel wider, provide a corresponding groove in the top panel and so the top panel by means of a tongue and groove connection with the side To connect fixed elements in a way that is on the one hand flush and on the other hand is not visible from the outside. For gap sealing in case of fire can be provided to provide the upper panel with intumescent material in the region of the abutting edge to the door. In general, intumescent materials, which are used to increase the fire protection, each additionally be provided with a sealing groove into which a seal used is, in particular a lip seal. Such an arrangement offers the advantage of an improved smoke seal especially at the beginning of a spreading fire. At this time, the triggering temperature of the intumescent material is often not reached. At the same time, such a seal also dampens the door leaf during the closing process.

In Fig. 1 The drawing shows a fire protection glazing 1 according to the invention to prevent the passage of fire and smoke in case of fire from one room to another in plan view. The fire-resistant glazing 1 has two glass panels A and C consisting of fire-resistant panes 2, spaced apart from one another, between which an inner surface B with a solid wood door 3 is arranged, above which an upper fixed element 4 (top panel), also made of wood, is arranged. The solid wood door 3 has a door leaf 5, which is held by means of an inner and thus not visible rotary bearing 7 on the upper panel 4 and by means of an inner and thus not visible floor spring 8 in the bottom 6 pivotally. The axis of rotation of the solid wood door thus runs centrally inside the door leaf, as in particular in the 3 and 4 is removable.

The solid wood door 3 is further provided with a lock case 9, which with a closing mimic not shown in the drawing in the glass surface A cooperates, so that the solid wood door 3 can be closed or opened by the operation of the handle 10.

I - I gemäß Fig. 1 dar. Fig. 2 illustrates a horizontal section through the fire-resistant glazing along the line I - I according Fig. 1 As can be seen therein, each fireproof pane 2 consists of two glass panes 11, 12 and 19, 20 made of single-pane safety glass, which are arranged parallel to each other by means of a polyurethane edge seal 13. The enclosed by the glass sheets 11, 12 and 19, 20 and the edge seal 13 space is filled with a fire protection gel 14. The glass panes 11, 12 and 19, 20 are each 8 mm thick, wherein the distance between the inner surfaces of each other is 28 mm. The thickness of each fire panel 2 is measured 44 mm from outer surface to outer surface.

19, 20.The fire protection gel 14 is prepared for example as a hydrogel from a NaCl / MgCl 2 salt solution with the addition of polymerizable compounds and a polymerization accelerator in water either before filling between the glass panes 11, 12 and 19, 20 or in-situ between the glass panes 11, 12 and . 19, 20 produced by mixing the above-mentioned components together and filled directly into the cavity between the glass panes 11, 12 and 19, 20. The polymerization to the hydrogel then takes place in the cavity now filled with the mixture between the glass panes 11, 12 or 19, 20.

18 versehen. In Fig. 3 The drawing is a horizontal section II - II through the fire-resistant glazing 1 in the in Fig. 1 to see corresponding marked point facing downward. In particular, it can be seen that it is in solid wood door 3 is a stopper door, which is hinged centrally on the right in the drawing on the bottom door closer 8 and cooperating with the top panel 4 pivot bearing 7, wherein the door panel 5 on the left and right Bumper edge respectively a stop profile 15 and 16 is integrally formed with the door leaf in the form of a stepped rebate. The stop profile 15 and 16 respectively extends over the entire length of the abutting edge. Due to the centric arrangement of the axis of rotation, the strip-shaped stop profiles 15, 16 are arranged diagonally to each other front or rear, so that in the closed state at the door both the left and also the right abutment edge are sealed. To increase the sealing effect, the cover profiles 15 and 16 are provided on the inside with one each over the entire length extending seal assembly 17 and 18 respectively.

With the stop profiles 15 and 16 formed by the rabbeting of the door leaf 5 of the solid wood door 3, corresponding step folds act on the fire protection windows 2 located on both sides of the door in the closed state. For this purpose, it is provided that, in the region of the lateral abutting edges, one of the glass panes 11 or 19 forming the fire-resistant pane springs back against the second glass pane 12 or 20 to form a stepped rebate and the edge joint 13 is offset inwardly to form a groove along the edge of the edge. In the thus formed groove of the left and right of the solid wood door 3 arranged fire protection panels 2 each one over the entire length extending wooden strip 21 is anchored by means of a Stufenfalzung the counter-stop for the stop profiles 15 and 16 of the solid wood door 3 in the closed state. In this case, the surface of the wooden strips directed towards the door gap is provided with an intumescent profile strip 22, which closes the door gap in case of fire.

The dimensional design of the arrangement described above is selected so that the solid wood door 3 is flush with the left and right fire protection glass 2 arranged fire protection glazing and thus an overall appearance is achieved that gives a clear functional aesthetic impression without disturbing fittings or protruding parts.

The in Fig. 4 The drawing shown horizontal section along line I - I in an enlarged scale again shows that in connection with Fig. 3 described principle of integrating the solid wood door 3 in a fire-resistant glazing, which is also recognizable that in the field of the door lock in case of fire effective intumescent profile strips are provided to close the existing door gaps in case of fire on the foaming process.
