Definitions
- the present invention relates to a garment in the form of pants for use in the outdoor and / or hunting area with the preamble features of claim 1.
- From the document US 6 141 802 A is a piece of clothing in the form of a pair of trousers for use in outdoor and / or hunting area has two trouser legs and a device to protect against vermin, as a means of protection against vermin provided in at least one trouser leg, a passage of vermin, in particular Ticks, preventing inner insert is provided, the lower end extends into the footer of the user and the upper end of the inside firmly connected to the trouser leg or is detachably connectable, the connection is circumferentially closed at the top so that a passage of the vermin through the Connection should not be possible.
- a garment of the type mentioned is also from the document DE 10 2006 020 464 A1 known.
- This prior art relates to a protective garment made of a textile material for placement on a body part.
- the protective garment is provided with a tuck catching pocket provided on a surface of the garment.
- the tick catching pocket extends along at least a part of the circumference of a garment part enveloping a body part.
- the tick-catching pocket has a wall bounding the interior of the bag and a leading into the pocket interior, down facing opening.
- a Velcro poison carrier which has a contact poison for killing ticks.
- the disadvantage is that in the known solution for the protection of vermin chemical, toxic substances are provided which, although killing ticks, but may also adversely affect the health of the wearer.
- the document DE 10 2009 020 866 A1 discloses a tick guard suit that extends to the ankle area of the user.
- the abovementioned document relates to a body suit which is considered necessary in order to obtain effective protection against ticks.
- the document DE 10 2007 026 340 A1 relates to an adsorption filter material for ABC protective clothing.
- an excellent barrier effect against chemical warfare agents is achieved.
- Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a garment of the type mentioned above, which provides effective protection against vermin, especially ticks, but without adverse health effects on the carrier must be feared.
- a passage of vermin, especially ticks preventing inner insert whose lower end extends into the foot of the user and its upper end inside firmly connected to the trouser leg or detachable is connectable, wherein the compound at the top is circumferentially closed so that a passage of the vermin through the connection is not possible.
- a purely mechanically acting device for protection against vermin which makes vermin, especially ticks, impossible to get through the trouser leg opening to the skin of the user. If a user goes with the pants according to the invention, for example, over a meadow and ticks get into the lower trouser leg opening, so the inner insert due to its training and connection with the trouser leg ensures that the ticks within the pants, on the inside of the trouser leg or on the outside of the inner insert, running high, but can not reach a free skin area, since the inner insert is connected at its upper end circumferentially to the trouser leg. The ticks are then caught at the end of the inner liner in the annular gap between the trouser leg and the inner liner. In any case, it is impossible that ticks can get past the inner insert past the leg of the user.
- the upper end of the inner insert in the trouser leg in the calf area of the user in particular in the upper calf area and particularly preferably attached directly above the calf area and below the knee area of the user.
- the inner insert therefore has about the length of a so-called knee sock.
- the lower end of the inner insert is guided at least into the ankle area of the user.
- the inner insert is thus brought in as far as possible into the foot area.
- the inner insert can be led to the toes or even include the toes.
- the inner insert on the leg of the user is at least in the ankle area flat and tight in the form of a compression stocking, and in particular over a length of at least 3 cm, so that a passage of ticks at this point is not possible.
- a close, flat contact of the inner insert on the foot or leg of the user preferably results from the fact that the inner insert has at least in its lower region, and in particular in the ankle region, an elastically extensible material.
- the material of the inner liner preferably polyamide, polyester and / or polypropylene, in particular with the addition of elastomeric fibers having.
- a holding loop for grasping under the foot of the user is provided at the lower end of the inner insert.
- the retaining loop should preferably be made of an elastically extensible material, which material should have a longitudinal elongation of more than 100%, preferably more than 120% and in particular more than 140%. In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it has been found that the elongation should be about 150%.
- the trouser leg can be opened at its lower end in the region of the inner insert.
- the possibility of opening the trouser leg offers the advantage that a user can easily enter into a boot when the trouser leg is open and, on the other hand, that after wearing the outer area of the inner insert it is easier to clean or knock it out by repositioning or breaking the open end of the trouser leg can be used to remove there vermin, especially ticks.
- the trouser leg has a longitudinal slot which extends into the calf area of the user and preferably to just before the peripheral connection of the inner insert to the trouser leg. It is favorable in this context, moreover, if the openable area of the pant leg can be closed quickly. This can be achieved for example via a zipper or a Velcro connection.
- the pants are made without lining or have a lining.
- an inner lining it is understood that the inner insert is then connected to the inner lining or detachably connectable. In this case, the statements apply to the detachable connection of the inner insert accordingly.
- the inner lining with the pants is detachably connectable to be able to dissolve out the lining on warm days.
- a circumferential fastener is to be able to attach the inner insert even after removing the inner lining releasably inside the trouser leg. This embodiment ensures that the user can remove the inner lining, but nevertheless need not dispense with the protective device against vermin, ie the inner insert according to the invention.
- the indoor use has odor adsorbing sorbents.
- odor adsorbing sorbents This takes into account the fact that every human body liberates the body's own odors, which are released into the environment. In particular, ticks react to these odors. In particular, during physical activity, for. As in leisure activities, is due to increased sweating the secretion of body odor perceived reinforced.
- the use of odor adsorbing sorbents in connection with the indoor use of the tick infestation is significantly reduced because the human odor is largely reduced and ticks react correspondingly less to this odor.
- the inner insert has at least one activated carbon layer.
- the inner insert should have at least three layers and have an inside carrier layer, an activated carbon layer and an outer layer facing away from the user. It goes without saying that in principle it is also possible to manage with a larger or smaller number of layers. So even a single-layered construction is basically possible if the odor adsorbing sorbents are integrated into the carrier layer. For manufacturing reasons, however, offers an at least two-layer structure with a carrier layer and an activated carbon layer. In this context, it should be ensured, moreover, that the material of the inner insert is permeable to gas, in particular permeable to air, and is permeable to water vapor.
- the material of the inner liner should be designed as such as to be impermeable to vermin.
- the open area of a mesh should be less than 1.0 mm 2 and in particular less than 0.5 mm 2 , wherein the shortest clear distance of the mesh should be less than 0.02 mm.
- the weight per unit area of the material of the inner insert should be less than 100 g / m 2 , preferably less than 80 g / m 2 and in particular less than 60 g / m 2 .
- the present invention relates to the use of the garment according to the invention for protection against vermin, in particular ticks.
- the use of the pants according to the invention for the aforementioned purpose offers significant advantages to protect the user effectively against vermin, and especially against ticks.
- Fig. 1 is a piece of clothing in the form of pants 1 shown.
- the pants 1 is intended in particular for use in the outdoor area and especially in the hunting area.
- the pants 1 has two trouser legs 2, 3.
- the pants 1 is provided with a device for protection against vermin, especially ticks, which will be discussed in more detail below.
- the upper of the pants 1 is arbitrary. These may be natural and / or synthetic fibers, but also leather.
- an interior insert 4 is provided as a device for protection against vermin in at least one trouser leg 2, 3.
- This inner liner 4 prevents the passage of vermin, especially ticks, through the inner liner 4 to the skin of the user.
- the lower end 5 of the inner insert 4 extends into the foot region 6 (FIG. Fig. 2 ) of the user. In the illustrated embodiment, this means that the lower end 5 of the inner insert projects beyond the lower edge 7 of the respective pant leg 2, 3 downwards.
- the upper end 8 of the inner insert 4 is firmly connected to the respective trouser leg 2, 3 ( Fig. 1 and 2 ) or detachably connectable with it ( Fig.
- the inner insert 4 extends within the respective pant leg 2, 3 to over the calf area 10 of the user, to just below the knee area 11. From the length to the top of the inner insert 4 ultimately corresponds to a knee sock.
- the lower end 5 of the inner insert 4 is guided into the ankle area 12 of the user.
- the lower end 5 of the inner insert 4 extends at least to the ankle of the user, preferably the ankles still completely covered.
- the lower end 5 of the inner insert 4 is thus guided relatively far down.
- the Fig. 1 makes it clear that the inner insert 4 has a close to the leg of the user in the ankle region 12 shape. This results in a flat, tight contact of the lower end 5 of the inner insert 4 over a length from bottom to top of at least 3 cm.
- it is such that the lower end 5, at least over the entire region 12 of the user's ankle tight fitting in the manner of a compression stocking, only less firmly extends.
- the close contact of the inner insert 4 in the ankle region 12 results from the use of a corresponding elastically extensible material, which in the illustrated embodiment consists of a large proportion of polyamide (about 80%) and a smaller proportion of elastomer fibers in the form of elastane (about 20%). ) consists.
- Fig. 1 In Fig. 1 Incidentally, two different embodiments of the inner insert 4 are shown.
- the inner insert 4 in the trouser leg 2 has a funnel-like design with a substantially constant pitch.
- this of course depends on the anatomy of the user.
- the different uses in the embodiment according to Fig. 1 Usually not realized on a pair of pants. In general, it is such that only one type of insert 4 is provided with a trouser 1.
- a retaining loop 13 is provided for engaging under the foot 14 of the user following the lower end 5 of the inner insert 4.
- the retaining loop 13 itself consists of an elastically extensible material with a longitudinal elongation of about 150%.
- connection 9 at the upper end 8 of the inner insert 4 to the trouser leg 2 is releasable.
- This serves in the illustrated embodiment, a Velcro connection.
- the Velcro connection on the inside of the pant leg 2 has a circumferential Velcro strips, while circumferentially at the upper end 8 of the inner insert 4 a complementary Velcro strip is provided, so that ultimately results in a circumferential closed connection 9.
- the connection 9 is designed as a circumferential seam. It is therefore a fixed connection 9 of the insert 4 with the respective trouser leg 2, 3rd
- the trouser leg 2 at the lower end in the region of the inner insert 4 can be opened.
- the trouser leg 2 has a longitudinal slot 15 which extends longitudinally to about the upper connection 9.
- the longitudinal slot 15 makes it possible to expose the inner insert 4 by slipping over the lower end 5 of the pant leg 2.
- ticks or other vermin which is trapped in the annular gap 17 between the outside of the inner insert 4 and the inside of the pant leg 2, can be removed.
- ticks that reach the ankle region 12 of the inner insert 4 usually run upwards along the outer side of the inner insert 4 until the inner insert 4 ends at the connection 9. A further run-up of the ticks is then no longer possible because they are prevented by the connection 9 on a further high-altitude hiking.
- the longitudinal slot 15 can be closed by Velcro connection means 18 to prevent pivoting of the lower end of the pant leg 2 during walking of the user.
- the pants 1 on a lining can be firmly or detachably connected to the pants 1.
- the inner insert 4 can in turn be firmly connected to the inner lining or even releasably connected thereto. If the lining is removed, it is basically possible to obtain such a condition that in Fig. 3 is shown, wherein the detachably connectable inner insert 4 is then in turn connected to the trouser leg 2. In Fig. 4 a part of the material of the inner insert 4 is shown.
- the inner insert 4 has an odor-adsorbing material, which has an inner support layer 19 as a textile sheet material, wherein activated carbon in the form of activated carbon grains 20 is fixed to the support layer 19.
- the fixation can be done for example by means of an adhesive, not shown.
- the material of the inner insert 4 has an outer layer 21 on the side of the activated carbon grains 20 facing away from the carrier layer 19.
- the material of the inner insert 4 activated carbon granules 20 having a basis weight of about 35 g / m 2 and an average diameter of about 0.4 to 0, 6 mm, with a point-wise applied adhesive on the inner support layer 19th are attached.
- inner carrier layer 19 and outer layer 21 alike a polyester and / or polyamide material is provided as a sheet.
