- Such objects often include expensive and / or fragile components: watch cases, jewels, or the like.
- Such articulated structures especially bracelets and necklaces, often have expensive components and / or fragile: watch boxes, jewels, or the like, which are sensitive to shocks, and it is important to protect.
- damping links rubber or the like, which are bulky and unsightly, and which can not be easily adapted to a pre-existing jewelry structure.
- the document EP 1 287 758 A1 in the name of SWATCH GROUP Management Services AG - RADO describes a hollow link for a watch strap, comprising a mechanical coupling component with other links or the case of the watch by transverse pinning, this component protruding through an opening of the link in which it is returned by a return spring after pinning. This is to improve the interface connection by protecting the components (links, box, horns, decorative elements) fragile antagonists, especially when they are ceramic, in a preferred implementation of the invention.
