Das Arbeitselement weist mindestens ein Ausscheidemesser und ein weiteres Kardier- oder Abdeckelement auf. Zwischen dem Kardier- oder Abdeckelement und dem Ausscheidemesser befindet sich eine Öffnung mit einer Auswurfweite. Die Öffnung verbindet einen Raum zwischen Arbeitselement und Walze mit dem Absaugkanal. Das Arbeitselement 12 ist aus mehreren Bauteilen zusammengesetzt, welche unverschieblich miteinander verbunden sind. Der erste und zweite Träger 22, 23 bilden in der zum Arbeitselement 12 zusammengesetzten Form einen Absaugkanal 25. Zwischen dem Ausscheidemesser 20 und dem Kardierelement 21 bildet sich im zusammengebauten Zustand eine Öffnung 26, welche einen Raum zwischen Arbeitselement 12 und Trommel.3 mit dem Absaugkanal 25 verbindet. Die Breite der Öffnung 26 an ihrer engsten Stelle wird als Auswurfweite c bezeichnet. In die Öffnung 26 ist ein Verschlusselement 27 eingebracht, welches die Auswurfweite c verkleinert. Ohne Verschlusselement 27 wäre die Auswurfweite c gleichbedeutend mit dem Abstand zwischen dem Kardierelement 21 und Ausscheidemesser 20. Diese grösstmögliche Auswurfweite c ist charakteristisch für ein Arbeitselement 12 mit Ausscheidemesser 20. Durch den Einsatz von Verschlusselementen 27 ist nun eine Verengung der Auswurfweite c möglich. Im Arbeitselement 12 ist im zweiten Träger 23 eine Aufnahme 19 vorgesehen, welche das Einbringen des Verschlusselementes 27 ermöglicht. Die Aufnahme 19 ist in Form einer Nut vorgesehen, welche an die Formgebung des Verschlusselementes 27 derart angepasst ist, dass das Verschlusselement 27 unverlierbar in der Aufnahme 19 gehalten ist. Claims (15)
