Figur 1 zeigt in einer Seitenansicht eine an sich bekannte Wanderdeckelkarde in schematischer Darstellung. Die zu kardierenden Faserflocken 1, die aus Naturfasern oder Chemiefasern oder Mischungen derselben bestehen können, werden in Form von gereinigten und aufgelösten Flocken in einen Füllschacht (nicht gezeigt) eingespielt. Aus dem Füllschacht werden die Flocken als von einem Briseur resp. Vorreisser 2 übernommen und einem Tambour resp. Trommel 3 zugeführt. Durch die Vorschaltung eines Mehrfach- Vorreissers 2 wird durch diesen bereits eine teilweise Auflösung und Reinigung der Faserflocken 1 ausgeführt. Diese Vorgänge geschehen durch das Zusammenwirken von Trommel 3 resp. Vorreisserwalzen 2 mit verschiedenen ortsfesten Arbeitselementen 7, 8, 9 und einem Wanderdeckelaggregat 4. Die ortsfesten Arbeitselemente 7, 8, 9 sind über den Trommelumfang in drei Hauptzonen angeordnet, einer Vorkardierzone 7, einer Nachkardierzone 8 und einer Unterkardierzone 9. Die Hauptkardierzone wird durch das Wanderdeckeaggregat 4 gebildet. Claims (15)

  1. Working element (10, 11, 12) on a fiber processing machine, having at least one roller (3, 13), the working element (10, 11, 12) being situated at a distance (a) opposite from the roller (3, 13) and extending over the entire width of the roller (3, 13), a portion of the working element (10, 11, 12) being formed as an extraction channel (25), and the working element (10, 11, 12) having at least one mote knife (20) and a further carding element (21) or cover element (29), and an opening (26) having an ejection width (c) is located between the mote knife (20) and the carding element (21) or cover element (29), the opening (26) connecting a space between the working element (10, 11, 12) and roller (3, 13) to the extraction channel (25), characterized in that the working element (10, 11, 12) has a receptacle in which a closure element (27) is stationarily held with the aid of a clamping force, and the ejection width (c) is determined by the shape of the closure element (27).
  2. Working element (10, 11, 12) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the clamping force may be produced by deformation of the closure element (27).
  3. Working element (10, 11, 12) according to Claim 1, characterized in that a clamping means is present between the closure element (27) and the working element (10, 11, 12), by means of which the clamping force may be produced.
  4. Working element (10, 11, 12) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the clamping means is designed as at least one spring element (28) which extends over a portion of the length of the closure element (27).
  5. Working element (10, 11, 12) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the closure element (27) is shaped in such a way that the closure element (27) is held captive in the receptacle (19) of the working element (10, 11, 12).
  6. Working element (10, 11, 12) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the receptacle (19) of the working element (10, 11, 12) is designed as a groove which extends over the entire length of the carrier (22, 23).
  7. Working element (10, 11, 12) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the ejection width (c) is delimited by the closure element (27) and the mote knife (20).
  8. Working element (10, 11, 12) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the ejection width (c) is closed by the closure element (27).
  9. Working element (10, 11, 12) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized In that the geometric shape of the opening (26) between the mote knife (20) and the carding element (21) or cover element (29) is determined by the closure element (27).
