- Information about the cleaning additives suitable for the high-pressure cleaning device 10 can be stored in a memory element of the control unit. This allows the information read from the RFID tag 101 be compared with the information stored in the memory element of the control unit. Only if it is determined that the cleaning additive present in the refill container 75 is suitable for the high-pressure cleaning device 10 can a desired amount of cleaning additive be taken from the intermediate tank 42 by means of the magnetic valve 46. If the cleaning additive for the high-pressure cleaning device 10 is not suitable, this is indicated to the user on the display element of the control unit and the solenoid valve 42 remains in its closed state, so that an admixture of the cleaning additive to the cleaning liquid of the high-pressure cleaner 10 is blocked.
