Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition pour revêtir des surfaces métalliques à base de résines de polyester capables de réticuler et utilisées comme liant organique et qui, par rapport à sa masse totale, contient de 4 à 20 % en poids de paillettes d'aluminium et pas plus de 0,1 % en poids de composés qui contiennent des groupes isocyanate. Comme liant organique, la composition contient de préférence au moins une résine de polyester hydroxylée, dont la masse molaire moyenne est de préférence comprise dans la plage allant de 2000 à 15 000, ainsi qu'un composant de réticulation pour la résine de polyester hydroxylée et qu'un catalyseur acide de réticulation. L'invention revendique également un procédé d'application de la composition sur des feuillards métalliques dans un procédé en bande. L'application de la couche est réglée selon une plage comprise entre 3 et 30 µm en fonction de l'application visée, un revêtement double pouvant à cet égard être avantageux. La composition peut par exemple servir de 'remplacement de galvanisation'.
