Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Duschabtrennung mit einem Türflügel der mittels eines Türbandes um eine SchwenkaChse schwenkbar befestigt ist, sowie das Türband selbst. Das Türband weist mehrere Bandteilpaare auf, wobei jedes Bandteilpaar ein ortsfest befestigtes Scharnierteil 21 und ein relativ zu diesem mit dem Türflügel mitbewegtes oder mitbewegbares Scharnierteil 22 aufweist. Um eine sichere Abdichtung des Türflügels auch ohne Schwallschutzprofil zu ermöglichen ist erfindungsgemäß der untere Scharnierteil 21 des ersten Bandteilpaares 20 mit wenigstens einer um die Schwenkachse gewundenen Hebeschräge 31 versehen, die mit einer Gleitschräge 35 am oberen Scharnierteil 22 des ersten Bandteilpaares zusammenwirkt, und die mit dem Türflügel mitbewegbaren Scharnierteile 22 sind über eine Verbindungsstange verbunden, die den Türflügel trägt. Zwischen den Scharnierteilen kann vorteilhafterweise eine Feder zur Teilkompensation des Gewichtes des Türelementes angeordnet sein.
