- This invention is related to doors in elevator cages, that is doors which prevent elevator travellers and goods from coming in contact with the inner side of the elevator shaft at the movement up and down of the elevator.
- doors In order to prevent these doors from encroaching the elevator space at opening it is known to fabricate them of vertical articulately connected door sections and that they at opening are pushed in along the side walls of the elevator cage, in particular on the outside thereof.
- In order to achieve the opening and closing movement of a door of this type it is known to arrange, in one of the sections most distal from the opening side, a slot and a pivot arm gripping into this, said pivot arm displacing the door with its pivot movement.
- a drawback with this solution is however that it in itself demand further space between the inside of the elevator cage and the inside of the shaft.
- JP 2000 192723 known to suspend the door sections with suspending means that at the joints between the door sections extend into a rail with C-shaped cross section. Movement is achieved by a large circular, horizontal disc with peripheral recesses that grip the suspending means. The disc is arranged in a corner of the elevator cage. A considerable drawback of this construction is that rather narrow door sections must be used in order not increase the size of the disc and a reduction of the corner space. Narrow door sections however result in a weaker or heavier doors. A large sized disc also means an increase in required driving torque and a corresponding weight increasing gearing.

- Female and male parts have circular cross sections that allow a relative angle between the sections. Since the encircling angle of the female part is more than 180° a stable connection is achieved between the sections preventing these from being pushed apart and that can transfer pulling as well as pushing forces at the displacing of the door forth and back. Centered in each hinge or male part one of the protruding and supporting pins is arranged.

- the door sections supporting washers may be integrated with the chain link journaled on the pin and in particular it is possible to settle for use of one single chain link.

Claims (3)
- Aufzugstüre, umfassend gelenkig miteinander verbundene vertikale Abschnitte (1), die Zug- als auch Druckkräfte beim Vorschieben und Zurückziehen der Tür übertragen können, mit Führungsstiften (2), die konzentrisch zu den Achsen der Verbindungen zwischen den Abschnitten angeordnet sind und die sich in eine Schiene (6) erstrecken, welche die Abschnitte trägt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an jedem Führungsstift (2) und konzentrisch dazu eine separate einzelne Verbindung oder Stücke einer Kette angelenkt und seitlich in der Schiene (6) geführt ist/sind, und dass Zahnräder (8) angeordnet sind, um nacheinander in die Kettenstücke für den Antrieb der Aufzugstüre einzugreifen.
- Aufzugstür nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jeder Stift (2) mit einer Kettenverbindung in jeder Richtung versehen ist.
- Aufzugstüre nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Kettenstücke oder zumindest eine Kettenverbindung, die an jedem Stift angelenkt ist, als Träger für dessen Türabschnitt (1) dient.
