Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé pour détecter l'occupation d'un siège. A cet effet, le dispositif selon l'invention comprend des premiers (A) et des deuxièmes (B) éléments de détection qui sont respectivement associés à une surface (2) d'un siège (1), et au niveau desquels des premiers et des deuxièmes signaux de détection (S), qui dépendent du poids, sont prélevés électriquement. Selon l'invention, soit les premiers signaux de détection (S), soit les deuxièmes signaux de détection (S) sont pris en considération pour détecter l'occupation d'un siège, en fonction d'une plage de températures ambiantes.
