Abstract
L'invention concerne une électrode (8, 9) destinée à une bougie d'allumage, composée d'un matériau de base (11) et d'au moins un matériau additif (12) dispersé dans le matériau de base (11), intégré à celui-ci, se présentant sous la forme d'un oxyde métallique, et caractérisé par une enthalpie de formation négative supérieure à 800 kJ/mol O<SUB>2</SUB>. Le matériau de base (11) est un matériau de base de Au ou de Rh ou Au ou Rh pur, la fraction du matériau additif étant de 5 à 50 % en volume. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, le matériau de base (11) est un matériau de base de Pt ou Pt pur, la fraction du matériau additif (12) pour une granulométrie moyenne (D50) entre 5 ?m et 20 ?m étant de 21 à 50 % en volume, ou le matériau additif (12) est au moins un oxyde métallique du groupe des oxydes métalliques des terres rares et/ou au moins un oxyde métallique du groupe contenant Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, Y<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, Sc<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, CaO, SrO, BaO, et/ou au moins un oxyde mixte tel que du spinelle, composé d'au moins un oxyde métallique d'alcalino-terreux, d'un oxyde métallique de terres rares, Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, Y<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> et/ou Sc<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, la fraction du matériau additif (12) étant de 5 à 50 % en volume.
