Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for attaching battens to rafters or counter battens with a support rod with a immovably arranged first stop and a second adjustable stop, with a displaceable spaced from the first stop on the support rod arranged first jaw member and a pivot lever which is mounted on the support rod and is in operative connection with the displaceable first jaw member, so that upon actuation of the pivot lever, the distance between the immovably arranged first stop and the displaceable first jaw member is variable.
- Roof battens are used as a substructure for roofing panels made of various materials such as clay or plastic.
- the roofing panels are either attached to the roof battens with fasteners or such as roof tiles with the
- Einlattriche (DE 1 675 798 U or DE 867 745 C), which consist essentially of a rod with a fixed upper stop and a distance adjustable lower stop. With the adjustable stop the desired distance between the two stops can be adjusted according to the desired distance of two adjacent roof battens. In the area of the next intended attachment point of the batten to be fastened the Einlattrise is applied across the already attached and still to be fastened roof batten so that the lower, adjustable stop rests against the upper edge of the already attached roof batten and the upper stop the desired position for the pretends to be fastened batten.
- a Einlattiety with a spring-loaded jaw (DE 27 28 374 Al) is known.
- the spring-loaded jaw against the spring force is drawn by hand, so that the batten to be fixed between the fixed stop and the jaw can be positioned.
- the spring-loaded jaw is released, the restoring force of the spring causes the jaw to be pulled in the direction of the fixed stop and the batten therebetween to be fixed.
- the Einlatt governance must then be recognized only with the lower, adjustable stop on the adjacent, already attached roof batten and then gives the right position for the between the spring-loaded jaw and the fixed stop clamped batten without further action.
- This embodiment has the disadvantage that the restoring force of the spring between the fixed stop and the jaw either insufficient to reliably clamp the batten to be fixed or inadequate for each attachment point force required for manual mounting of the jaw for detecting the batten to be fastened is high and makes handling difficult.
- the pivot lever on a long and an almost at right angles aligned thereto short lever arm, .the pivot lever is mounted in the region of the first adjustable jaw member so that by a Actuation of the longer, protruding lever arm of the pivot lever of the short lever arm of the pivot lever is pivoted and thereby causes a displacement of the short lever arm operatively connected to the first jaw member.
- the longer lever arm In order to effect a displacement of the first jaw element by only a few millimeters, the longer lever arm has to be widely pivoted or strongly actuated.
- the maximum deflection of the first jaw member is largely determined by the width of the Einlattsustainablees and by the intended pivoting range of the longer lever arm of the pivot lever and limited to a few millimeters.
- Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device for attaching battens in such a way that with little effort a fast and 'reliable fixing of the position to be fixed batten can be done. It should be possible to correct the largest possible deviation of the batten to be attached from the intended mounting position.
- This object is achieved in that the pivot lever is pivotally mounted in the region of immovably arranged first stop on the support rod.
- the pivot lever mounted in the region of the immovably arranged first stop is arranged and mounted in such a way that its lever effect can be emphasized in the best possible way and displacement of the first clamping jaw element can be effected with the least possible expenditure of force.
- the first jaw member In open, expediently removed from the support rod position of the pivot lever, the first jaw member is at a sufficiently large distance from the fixed first stop, so that the batten to be fastened without difficulty or effort between the fixed stop and the open
- Arranged jaw member or the device can be placed on the batten.
- the pivot lever By actuation of the pivot lever in its closed, suitably located near the support rod position, the first jaw member is moved in the direction of immovably arranged first stop, so that the batten interposed therebetween is fixed by clamping.
- the correct position of the roof batten to be fastened or its appropriate distance from the adjacent batten already fastened is determined by the second stop, which must be attached to the batten already fastened. About the adjustment of the second stop different slats dimensions or distances of the respective upper edges of adjacent battens can be specified.
- the pivot lever For fixing a roof batten or for releasing the device after attaching the batten only the pivot lever must be actuated, which is possible with a suitable design and dimension of the pivot lever without much effort.
- the pivot lever can extend substantially over the entire length of the Einlattginses, whereby an advantageous power transmission can be achieved at a sufficiently large displacement for the first jaw member. The length of the pivot lever can then be adapted to the length of the support bar, without the device must be unwieldy or necessarily badly balanced.
- pivot lever via a likewise pivotable on the pivot lever. mounted lever rod with the sliding first
- Jaw element is in operative connection.
- the maximum deflection of the displaceable first jaw member is no longer limited by the length of a rigidly connected to the pivot lever short lever arm.
- the pivotally mounted lever rod can be made almost as long as the pivot lever itself, so that a very large displacement for the displaceable first jaw member is conceivable.
- the adjustable jaw member can be easily moved several centimeters upon actuation of the pivot lever.
- the maximum adjustment is essentially determined by the length and arrangement of the lever rod. Also, in a suitable embodiment and storage, or arrangement of the lever rod an advantageous
- the displaceable first jaw member has on its side facing the pivot lever a stop surface for the pivot lever. Also can then be changed or adjusted quickly and reliably with a fully actuated pivot lever which bears tightly against the stop surface, a setting of the device.
- the first jaw element has a displaceably mounted stop element whose distance is variable relative to the immovably arranged first stop.
- the distance between the fixed first stop and the stop element of the first clamping jaw can be adapted to possibly different dimensions of different roof battens, so that a reliable fixing of the different battens is made possible with fully closed pivoting lever.
- the support rod has a distance scale and / or in the region of the adjustable second stop Having clearance marks.
- the distance between the first and second stops must be able to be specified for each roof, even if a standard size is usually used for most roofs. Due to the distance scale, the appropriate distance between the two stops can be set quickly and easily and checked if necessary.
- the few, commonly used standard lath dimensions can alternatively or additionally be identified by separate distance markings.
- the device has a second jaw element which is arranged in the region of the adjustable second stop and is connected to the first jaw element by means of a rigid connecting element arranged along the carrier rod.
- a rigid connecting element arranged along the carrier rod.
- first jaw member and the second jaw member are each adjustably mounted on a threaded rod which is slidably mounted along the support rod and is in operative connection with the pivot lever.
- the two jaw members can be fixed by nuts arranged on both sides at the desired position on the threaded rod. If the device is to be adapted to a different width of battens, so only the corresponding nuts must be solved and the two jaw members along the threaded rod are moved until they are at the desired distance to the respective associated stop and can be fixed again by screwing the nuts.
- the threaded rod may be mounted parallel to the support rod with a suitably small distance to this. It is also conceivable and advantageous in terms of ease of handling to store the threaded rod in a recess adapted thereto on or in the support rod.
- the second jaw element deflectable on the threaded rod is mounted and a spring means presses the second jaw member in the direction of the associated second stop.
- a spring means presses the second jaw member in the direction of the associated second stop.
- Positioning of the batten to be fastened is required. Only after the batten to be fastened has been moved by actuation of the pivot lever to the intended position and is held there and then a balance of different slat widths is required, a deflection of the second jaw member takes place against the spring force.
- the spring force of the spring device acting on the second clamping element is adjustable.
- a prestressed spring is arranged between the immovably arranged first stop and the associated first jaw member.
- the restoring force of the spring is dimensioned so that the pivot lever, if it is not held, is moved to its open position and thereby the first Clamping jaw optionally be moved away in conjunction with the second jaw member of the associated stop.
- the device In the open position of the pivot lever, the device can be applied quickly and easily, or on both the already attached and the still to be fastened batten.
- the carrier rod has a recess adjacent to the completely actuated pivot lever.
- the recess is expediently designed and arranged so that the person operating the device with the hand press the pivot lever in the closed position and can engage with the fingers of this hand in the recess of the support rod, without encircling is required.
- the device can be both operated and kept reliable and stable, so that only one hand and not two hands are required for the use of the device as in already known devices.
- At least one stop or a jaw member has a bearing to allow a rectangular orientation of the device relative to the roof battens.
- the arranged at a stop or jaw member bearings allow a relative movement of the battens to the associated stop, or the jaw member. Will the device obliquely placed and actuated, so is generated by the closing movement of the jaw members relative to the attacks in the oblique gripping the batten a torque.
- the device can be moved on the basis of or the camp without great force across the roof batten, or to the two battens, so that the torque generated without additional effort or separate manual support a changed orientation of the device substantially perpendicular to the. transverse roof battens causes.
- a sufficient for this purpose storage can be accomplished simply and inexpensively, characterized in that the immovably arranged first stop and the displaceable second jaw member each have at least one rotatably mounted roller.
- the pivoting lever has a plurality of spaced-apart receiving devices for the lever rod pivotably mounted on the pivoting lever.
- the receiving devices may have, for example, spaced holes across the pivot lever, wherein the lever rod has a bore adapted thereto and by means of a bolt, the lever rod at the desired hole in the pivot lever can be fixed.
- it may be appropriate to arrange two parallel lever rods on both sides of the pivot lever and each pivot to store the pivot lever, or on the movable first Klemmbackerielement.
- Receiving device attached, or must be stored to specify the desired distance between the stops and the associated jaw members.
- the locking devices have a quick-action closure for fixing the lever rod to the pivoting lever and / or for fixing the adjustable second stop to the carrier rod.
- Suitable snap fasteners may be, for example, quick release, eccentrically mounted clamping lever or the like.
- the device can be adapted quickly and reliably to different batten dimensions or bar widths or the like when using quick-release fasteners in a simple manner.
- FIG. 1 shows a device for attaching battens with a first jaw member, which is displaceable by means of a pivot lever relative to a fixed first stop,
- Figure 2 shows a device similar to the device shown in Figure 1, wherein by an actuation of the pivot lever and the distance of a second jaw member relative to an adjustable second stop is variable, and
- Figure 3 shows another similar device having a plurality of receiving devices for a support rod on the pivot lever and a plurality of bearings on the fixed first stop, and the second jaw member.
- the apparatus shown schematically in Figure 1 ' for attaching battens to rafters has a support bar 1, at the front end of a immovably arranged, fixed first stop 2 is attached.
- the first stop 2 has a downwardly projecting
- an adjustable second stop 4 is arranged at the other end of the support rod 1.
- the distance between the fixed first stop 2 and the displaceably mounted along the carrier bar 1 second stop 4 can be set within a range of all of the usual Lattriche, respectively comprises the common distances' of two adjacent roof battens.
- the second stop 4 can be fixed by clamping or form liquid.
