Description

    Technisches Gebiet
  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Freiarmschirm gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.
    • Stand der Technik
  • Ein Freiarmschirm der eingangs genannten Art ist beispielsweise aus der EP 1 550 383 A bekannt. Der Freiarmschirm weist einen Mast auf, an dem ein ein-und ausfahrbarer Ausleger angeordnet ist. Am freien Ende des Auslegers ist ein quer dazu abstehender Ansatz vorhanden, an dem ein Schirm mittels eines Schirmstockes über ein Gelenk angeordnet ist. Der Schirm weist einen Schieber auf, der über Stützstreben mit Dachstangen gelenkig verbunden ist, die ihrerseits an einer mit dem Schirmstock verbundenen Krone angelenkt sind. Der Schirmstock weist einen oberen Einsteckteil auf, mit dem er bei geöffnetem Schirm in einen Aufnahmeteil des Ansatzes eingreift und dadurch das Gelenk blockiert. Nachteilig ist es, dass die Krone des Schirms konstruktionsbedingt bei geöffnetem Schirm einen relativ grossen Abstand vom Ausleger aufweist, wodurch der Schwerpunkt des geöffneten Schirmes einen entsprechend grossen Abstand vom Ausleger aufweist, der das Schrägstellen des geöffneten Schirmes durch Verschwenken des Auslegers um seine Achse erschwert und ein kompaktes Design verhindert.
  • Weiter ist aus der US 2003/0192580 A ein weiterer Freiarmschirm bekannt, bei dem am freien Ende des Auslegers ein quer dazu abstehender Ansatz angeordnet ist. Der Ansatz weist am unteren Ende eine Gelenkschale mit einer inneren Verzahnung auf, die mit einem am oberen Ende des Schirmstockes angebrachten Gelenkkopf mit einer äusseren Verzahnung zusammenwirkt. Am oberen Ende des Schirmstockes ist vor dem Gelenkkopf die Krone des Schirmes angeordnet. Die Anordnung ist nicht nur sehr aufwändig, sondern bewirkt ebenfalls einen relativ grossen Abstand des Schirmes vom Ausleger. Das Gelenk ist stets frei zugänglich und ungeschützt.. Das Öffnen des Schirmes erfolgt mittels eines Seiles durch Anheben des Schiebers, wobei auch die Verzahnung zur Lagefixierung des Schirmes in Eingriff gebracht wird. Nachteilig ist, dass bereits ein geringfügiges Nachlassen der Seilspannung zu einem Lockern oder gar Lösen der Verrastung der Verzahnung führt, was nicht nur zu einer Beschädigung der Verzahnung sondern insbesondere auch zu einem ungewollten Verschwenken des Schirmes am Ausleger und damit zu einer Unfallgefahr führen kann.
  • Aus der US 6 014 980 ist ein weiterer Freiarmschirm bekannt, bei dem am freien Ende des Auslegers mittels eines Gelenkes ein Ansatz angeordnet ist, an dem der Schirmstock fixiert ist, wobei die Krone mit einem Riegel verbunden ist, welcher den geöffneten Schirm in einem Winkel zum Ausleger hält. Auch hier weist die Krone einen relativ grossen Abstand vom Ausleger auf und das Gelenk stets ungeschützt und führt somit zu den bereits oben diskutierten Nachteilen.
  • Ein Freiarmschirm gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 ist aus der DE 33 39 163 bekannt.
    • Darstellung der Erfindung
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, den Freiarmschirm der eingangs genannten Art zu verbessern.
  • Die gestellte Aufgabe wird durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Dadurch, dass die Krone des Schirmes am oberen Endbereich eines als Hülse ausgebildeten Stockteiles angeordnet ist, welcher über den Ansatz derart verschiebbar ist, dass die Krone bei geöffnetem Schirm das Gelenk übersteigt und wenigstens annähernd am Ausleger ansteht, ergibt sich eine Reduktion des Schwerpunktabstandes des geöffneten Schirmes vom Ausleger, wodurch für das Schrägstellen des geöffneten Schirmes durch Verschwenken des Auslegers weniger Kraft aufgewendet werden muss. Überdies ermöglicht diese Ausbildung eine Verringerung der gesamten notwendigen Bauhöhe des Freiarmschirmes. Dadurch, dass die Krone das Gelenk im geöffneten Zustand des Schirmes übersteigt, ergibt sich nicht nur ein optimaler Schutz des Gelenkes, sondern die Blockierung des Schirmes in der eingestellten Stellung bleibt auch dann sicher erhalten, wenn die Seilspannung nachlassen sollte.
  • Weiter verschwindet das Gelenk bei geöffnetem Schirm optisch vollständig im Schirminneren und ist somit gegen Verschmutzung geschützt und vermindert die Verletzungsgefahr für den Benutzer. Dadurch und durch den reduzierten Abstand des Schirmes vom Ausleger ergibt sich ein verbessertes Aussehen des Freiarmschirmes.
  • Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen des Freiarmschirmes sind in den abhängigen Ansprüchen 2 bis 4 beschrieben.
  • Gemäss Anspruch 2 kann die Krone einen oberen Kragen aufweisen, in dem ein Gelenkbolzen angeordnet ist, der in einem Längsschlitz des Ansatzes geführt ist, wobei der Kragen auf einer dem Gelenkbolzen parallelen Seite eine Ausnehmung aufweist, welche annähernd dem halben Querschnitt des Ansatzes derart entspricht, dass die Krone bei geschlossenem Schirm gegen den Ansatz schwenkbar ist. Dies ergibt eine sehr einfache Bauart, bei der der Gelenkteil geschützt ist, so dass ein Verklemmrisiko vermieden ist. Nachteilig ist die Ausnehmung am Kragen der Krone.
  • Zweckmässiger ist die Ausbildung nach Anspruch 3, wonach der Schirmstock am oberen Teil einen in dem hülsenartigen Stockteil verschiebbaren Stockteil aufweist, der über das Gelenk mit dem Ansatz verbunden ist, wobei im Ansatz und im angeschlossenen Stockteil eine den Verschiebeweg begrenzende Nut vorhanden ist, in die eine im Inneren des hülsenartigen Stockteiles oder der Krone angeordneter Gleitstein eingreift. In diesem Fall ist eine Ausnehmung an einem Kragen nicht erforderlich und die Krone bietet ein geschlossenes Bild. Ausserdem ist der hülsenartige Stockteil durch die Nut/Gleitstein-Anordnung beidseits des Gelenkes verdrehsicher geführt ist.
  • Der Ansatz kann unlössbar mit dem Ausleger verbunden sein. Zweckmässigerweise ist der Freiarmschirm nach Anspruch 4 jedoch so ausgebildet, dass der Ansatz vom Ausleger abnehmbar ist.
    • Kurze Beschreibung der Zeichnungen

    Wiege zur Ausführung der Erfindung
  • Die Figur 1 zeigt einen Freiarmschirm in seiner ausgefahrenen Stellung und mit geöffnetem Schirm und die Figur 2 diesen Freiarmschirm in der geschlossenen und eingeklappten Stellung. Der Freiarmschirm weist einen Mast 2 auf, der im Boden 4 oder in einem Sockel 6 verankert sein kann. Am oberen Ende des Mastes 2 ist an einem Verschiebelager 8 ein Ausleger 10 in seiner Längsrichtung aus-und einfahrbar und um seine Achse verschwenkbar gelagert. Das Verschiebelager 8 ist über ein Gelenk 9 verschwenkbar am Mast 2 angeordnet. An einem Ende trägt der Ausleger einen Schirm 12 und am anderen Ende ist der Ausleger 10 in einem Lager 14 um seine Achse verschwenkbar gelagert. Das Lager 14 stützt sich über ein Tragelement 16 am Mast 2 ab. Hierzu ist das Tragelement 16 über ein Gelenk 18 am Lager 14 und über ein Gelenk 20 an einer Traghülse 22 befestigt, die am Mast 2 angeordnet ist. Am Lager 14 ist eine nicht näher dargestellte Arretiervorrichtung 24 zum Arretieren der Schwenkstellung des Auslegers 10 in einer wählbaren Schwenkstellung vorhanden. Hierzu ist die Arretiervorrichtung mit einer in der Verlängerung des Auslegers 10 liegenden Lenkstange 26 ausgestattet, die über ein Gelenk 27 gegen das Tragelement 16 abwinkelbar ist. Die Lenkstange ist mittels einer Rastvorrichtung 28 mit dem Tragelement 16 verrastbar. In entrastetem Zustand kann die Lenkstange 26 um die Achse des Auslegers verschwenkt werden und mittels einer nicht näher dargestellten Kupplungsvorrichtung in wählbaren Drehwinkeln relativ zum Ausleger mit dem Ausleger lösbar gekuppelt werden, um den Schirm im geöffneten Zustand schräg stellen und in dieser Stellung arretieren zu können.
  • Wie aus den Figuren 1 und 2 und insbesondere aus den Figuren 3 und 4 zu ersehen ist, ist der Schirm 12 mittels eines Schirmstockes 30 über ein Gelenk 32 an einem Ansatz 34 angeordnet, der am freien Ende des Auslegers 10 und quer dazu abstehend angeordnet ist. Der Schirm enthält einen Schieber 36, an dem über Gelenke 38 Stützstreben 40 befestigt sind, die ihrerseits über Gelenke 42 an Dachstangen 44 angeschlossen sind. Letztere sind wiederum über Gelenke 46 mit einer Krone 48 verbunden, die am Schirmstock 30 befestigt ist. Der Schirmstock 30 wird gebildet durch einen Stocktell 50, der über das Gelenk 32 mit dem Ansatz 34 verbunden ist. Weiter enthält der Schirmstock 30 einen hülsenartig ausgebildeten Stockteil 52, der über dem Stockteil 50 angeordnet ist und an dessen oberen Ende die Krone 48 befestigt ist. Der Ansatz 34 ist nun so ausgebildet, dass er die Fortsetzung des Stockteils 50 bildet und die Krone 48 mittels des hülsenartigen Stockteils 52 gegen den Ausleger 10 verfahrbar ist, so dass die Krone 48 bei geöffnetem Schirm 12 den Drehpunkt des Gelenkes 32 übersteigt und am Ausleger 10 ansteht. Der Schirmstock 30 ist mit einer Verdrehsicherung 54 ausgestattet, die aus einer Nut 56 besteht, die im Ansatz 34 und im Stockteil 50 bis an einen Anschlag 58 verläuft. Auf der Innenseite des hülsenartigen Stockteils 52 ist ein Gleitstein 60 angeordnet, der in der Nut 56 verfahrbar ist, und dessen Verschiebeweg nach unten durch den Anschlag 58 begrenzt ist. Der Ansatz 34 ist in einer Ausnehmung 62 in einem Kopfteil 64 des Auslegers 10 lösbar eingesetzt und mittels eines Bolzens 66 im Kopfteil 64 gesichert.
  • Zum Öffnen und Schliessen des Schirmes dient ein Zugorgan 70, das am Schieber 36 befestigt ist und durch den Schirmstock 30 sowie den Ansatz 34 in den Kopfteil 64 des Auslegers 10 verläuft. An einer Umlenkung 72 wird das Zugorgan 70 in den Ausleger 10 geleitet und verläuft bis an das andere Ende des Auslegers, wird weiter in die Lenkstange 26 umgeleitet und gelangt schliesslich zu einer Winde 74, die mit einer Kurbel 76 bedienbar ist. Zum Öffnen des Schirmes wird das Zugorgan 70 mit der Winde 74 eingeholt, bis der Schieber 36 mit einem Zapfen 78 im hülsenartigen Stockteil 52 in Eingriff kommt. Durch weiteres Einholen des Zugorganes 70 wird der hülsenartige Stockteil 52 angehoben und gleitet über den Ansatz 34, bis die Krone 48 am Ausleger 10 bzw. seinem Kopfteil 64 ansteht, wie aus Fig. 4 zu ersehen ist. Der hülsenartige Stockteil 52 überdeckt dabei das Gelenk 32 und blockiert somit das Gelenk. Die Nut/Gleitstein-Anordnung gewährleiste einen relativ langen Sicherungsweg auch für das Blockieren des Gelenkes, sodass selbst bei einem gewissen Nachlassen der Spannung des Zugorgans 70 oder ungenügender Spannung des Schirme beim Öffnen die Sperrung des Gelenkes erhalten bleibt und so ein ungewolltes Pendeln des Schirmes gegen den Mast verhindert ist.
  • Die Figuren 5 und 6 zeigen eine abgewandelte Ausbildung des Ansatzes 34a des Gelenkes 32a und der Krone 48a. Der Ansatz 34a ist wiederum von dem hülsenartigen Stockteil 52a überfahrbar. Die Krone 48a enthält einen oberen Kragen 80, in dem ein Gelenkbolzen 82 des Gelenkes 32a angeordnet ist. Der Gelenkbolzen 82 ist in einem Längsschlitz 84 des Ansatzes 34a verschiebbar angelagert. In der untersten Stellung ist das Gelenk 32a frei und die Krone 48a kann sich um den Gelenkbolzen 82 verschwenken. Hierzu weist der Kragen 80 und der hülsenartige Stockteil 52a parallel zum Gelenkbolzen 82 eine Ausnehmung 86 auf, welche annähernd dem halben Querschnitt des Ansatzes 34 entspricht, so dass der Schirm in geschlossenem Zustand gegen den Ausleger 10 geschwenkt werden kann, wie aus Fig. 5 hervorgeht. Bei geöffnetem Schirm greift der Ansatz 34a in den hülsenartigen Stockteil 52a ein und der Gelenkbolzen 82 befindet sich am oberen Ende des Längsschlitzes 84. Der über dem Ansatz 34a angeordnete hülsenartige Stockteil 52a blockiert somit das Gelenk 32a.
  • Auch der Längsschlitz 84 sorgt für einen relativ langen Verschiebeweg des hülsenartigen Stockteiles 52a und damit auch der Krone 48a, welche den Gelenkbolzen 82 trägt, sodass auch hier selbst bei einem gewissen Nachlassen der Spannung des Zugorgans 70 die Sperrung des Gelenkes 32a erhalten bleibt und so ein ungewolltes Pendeln des Schirmes gegen den Mast verhindert ist.

Claims (4)

  1. Freiarmschirm mit einem Mast, an dem ein ein- und ausfahrbarer Ausleger (10) angeordnet ist, der an seinem freien Ende einen quer dazu abstehenden Ansatz (34,34a) aufweist, an dem ein Schirm (12) mittels eines Schirmstockes (30) über ein Gelenk (32,32a) angeordnet ist, wobei der Schirm (12) einen Schieber (36) aufweist, der über Stützstreben (40) mit Dachstangen (44) gelenkig verbunden ist, die wiederum an einer mit dem Schirmstock (30) verbundenen Krone (48,48a) angelenkt sind, wobei der Schirm (12) mittels eines am Schieber (36) angreifenden Zugorgans (70) öffen- und schliessbar ist und beim Öffnen den Schirmstock (30) gegen den Ansatz (34,34a) verschiebt und dabei das Gelenk (32,32a) sperrt und die Krone (48,48a) des Schirmes (12) an einem als Hülse ausgebildeten Stockteil (52,52a) angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Krone (48, 48a) am oberen Endbereich des als Hülse ausgebildeten Stockteiles (52, 52a) angeordnet und über den Ansatz (34,34a) derart verschiebbar ist, dass die Krone (48,48a) bei geöffnetem Schirm (12) das Gelenk (32,32a) übersteigt und wenigstens annähernd am Ausleger (10) ansteht.
  2. Freiarmschirm nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Krone (48a) einen oberen Kragen (80) aufweist, in dem ein Gelenkbolzen (82) angeordnet ist, der in einem Längsschlitz (84) des Ansatzes (34a) geführt ist, wobei der Kragen (80) auf einer dem Gelenkbolzen (82) parallelen Seite eine Ausnehmung (62) aufweist, welche annähernd dem halben Querschnitt des Ansatzes (34a) derart entspricht, dass die Krone (48a) bei geschlossenem Schirm (12) gegen den Ansatz (34a) schwenkbar ist.
  3. Freiarmschirm nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schirmstock (30) am oberen Teil einen in dem hülsenartigen Stockteil (52) verschiebbaren Stockteil (50) aufweist, der über das Gelenk (32) mit dem Ansatz (34) verbunden ist, wobei im Ansatz (34) und im angeschlossenen Stockteil (50) eine den Verschiebeweg begrenzende Nut (56) vorhanden ist, in die ein im Inneren des hülsenartigen Stockteiles (52) oder der Krone (48) angeordneter Gleitstein (60) eingreift.
  4. Freiarmschirm nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Ansatz (34,34a) vom Ausleger (10) abnehmbar ausgebildet ist.
