Definitions
- the invention relates to an inkjet printing system for a printing press operating on the offset printing principle according to the preamble of claim 1.
- inkjet printing devices which are preferably used for the individualization of printed products produced by offset printing, e.g. Address printing, barcodes, numbering or other markings.
- Such inkjet printing systems have at least.
- An inkjet printhead the so-called. Continuous inkjet principle, the drop-on-demand inkjet principle, the thermal inkjet principle, the bubble inkjet principle or any other inkjet principle can be formed.
- the inkjet printheads usually have a nozzle row of a plurality of juxtaposed nozzles, via the inks on a printing substrate, such. a paper web can be addressed.
- the inkjet technology is widely used in the state of the art both in private areas as well as in industrial areas (digital proof systems, which directly use the data of the computer / digital printer).
- inkjet printing systems for the areas of the printing industry.
- inkjet systems for the production of pressure equipment (proofs) for imaging of printing plates or printing plates or explicitly for the digital printing of small special editions (eg body shape printing) and special formats (eg large format posters or textiles) used.
- industrial inkjet printing systems are primarily used for very short print runs and the cost of printing inks is very high.
- the inkjet printing for the print run is not economical because it is very slow at high print resolutions.
- an inkjet printing system which is used as a painting unit, such that a separate inkjet printer in the form of an inkjet head array or an inkjet head bar is used for line by line loading of the preferably large-sized substrate, wherein the substrate is carried out below the outlet openings of the inkjet heads.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to make it possible for a printing press operating according to the offset printing principle that additional, variable information as well as frequently changing information during a print run can be added at any point within the printed product.
- an inkjet printhead mounted on a crosshead transversely to the printing direction in a working position to a paper web within the printing press, preferably in one or at least arranged near a printing unit.
- Inkjet printing is a printing technology that belongs to the category of non-impact printers. This is understood to mean a non-contact printing process in which a tiny amount of ink is electronically controlled from one or more extremely small nozzles (such as in the DE 27 04 514 C2 is described) is shot on the substrate.
- the advantage of non-contact printing processes is that upstream drying processes can be eliminated if necessary, which can save on energy and material costs.
- the inkjet printing process can be controlled digitally via so-called print image data.
- the print image would be variable shaped.
- the proposed invention has the advantage over the prior art that an inkjet system is already integrated directly into the offset printing press and can be mounted or implemented at various points on different paper webs of the printing presses. As a result, it is possible to add additional information, even variable information, as well as frequently changing information at any point within the printed product during a print run.

Description
- Fig. 1:
- Fig. 2:
- die Anordnung der
Figur 1 in stark schematisierter Draufsicht. - In
