Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft einen Helm, insbesondere Schutzhelm für Einsatzkräfte, mit einer Helmkalotte, die mit einer Innenpolsterung ausgestattet ist, wobei die Helmkalotte im Ohrenbereich seitliche Ausbuchtungen zur Aufnahme von Gehörschutzkapseln aufweist. Derartige Helmes werden bevorzugt als Polizeihelme eingesetzt und sollen zum Schutze des Benutzers beschusssicher ausgeführt sein. Bekannte Helmkalotten weisen einen mehrschichtigen Verbund auf. Als Material wurde vor allem Keflar eingesetzt, das aber im Randbereich der Helmkalotte problematisch ist.
- Aus der
US 6,029,269 ist ein Helm aus Titan bekannt, der in etwa die Form eines Tropenhelms aufweist. Trotz der Herstellung aus fiberverstärktem Titan ist dieser Helm nur im Schädelbereich des Helmträgers beschusssicher, wogegen der Gesichtsbereich ungeschützt ist. - Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, einen im Hinblick auf die Beschusssicherheit und das Gewicht günstigen Helm zu schaffen.
- Dies wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, dass die Helmkalotte samt den seitlichen Ausbuchtungen im Ohrenbereich aus einem, vorzugsweise einstückigen, tiefgezogenen Titanblech besteht, wobei die Helmkalotte beidseits ausgehend von den seitlichen Ausbuchtungen im Ohrenbereich unter Ausbildung von Wangenschutzbereichen nach vorne gezogen ist, wobei die beiden Wangenschutzbereiche einstückig mit der restlichen Helmkalotte ausgebildet sind. Damit wird die Beschussfestigkeit auch bei Beschuss von der Seite im Wangenbereich gegenüber bisherigen Helmkonstruktionen verbessert.
- Das erfindungsgemäß verwendete tiefgezogene Titanblech zeichnet sich durch verhältnismäßig geringes Gewicht und hohe Beschussfestigkeit aus. Das einstückige tiefgezogene Herstellen der Helmkalotte erlaubt es von der Beschusssicherheit her kritische und in der Herstellung aufwändige Schweißnähte zu vermeiden.
- Gemäß einem Ausführungsbeispiel kann bevorzugt vorgesehen sein, dass der Helm ein schwenkbar gelagertes Visier aufweist. Es ist dabei besonders günstig, wenn das geschlossene Visier - von der Seite gesehen - den Wangenschutzbereich spaltfrei abdeckt.
- Eine Variante der Erfindung besteht darin, dass die Gehörschutzkapsel innen beweglich an der Helmkalotte gelagert ist. Dabei kann eine Feder im Benutzungszustand die Gehörschutzkapseln an den Kopf des Benutzers drücken. Zum Auf- und Absetzen des Helmes kann eine Verstellvorrichtung vorgesehen sein - am Günstigsten ein Band, mit dem die Gehörschutzkapseln vom Kopf des Benutzers wegbewegbar sind.
- Weitere Vorteile und Einzelheiten der Erfindung werden anhand der nachfolgenden Figurenbeschreibung näher erläutert.
- Die
Fig. 1 zeigt eine schematische Vorderansicht auf ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines erfindungsgemäßen Helmes, wobei das Visierlager und die Befestigungsschraube für die Gehörschutzmaske einerseits, und das Verstellband der Gehörschutzkapsel andererseits, nicht dargestellt sind. - Die
Fig. 2 zeigt ebenfalls eine Vorderansicht, allerdings mit schwenkbar angebrachtem, geschlossenem Visier. - Die
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Seitenansicht mit geschlossenem Visier. - Die
Fig. 4 zeigt eine Seitenansicht mit offenem Visier. - Die
Fig. 5 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch die linke Hälfte eines Ausführungsbeispiels eines erfindungsgemäßen Helmes, bei der die Gehörschutzkapsel durch eine Verstellvorrichtung zur Helmkalotte hin bewegt ist. - Die
Fig. 6 zeigt einen Querschnitt eines Ausführungsbeispiels mit einer Gewebeeinlage. - Der in den
Fig. 1 bis 4 dargestellte Helm kann insbesondere als Schutzhelm für Einsatzkräfte (beispielsweise Polizei) verwendet werden. - Die Helmkalotte 1 weist im Ohrenbereich seitliche Ausbuchtungen 1a auf, die zur Aufnahme von Gehörschutzkapseln 5 vorgesehen sind, welche anhand der
Fig. 5 noch näher erläutert werden. Die Lage der Gehörschutzkapseln 5 ist strichliert inFig. 3 eingezeichnet. - Erfindungsgemäß besteht die Helmkalotte 1 samt den seitlichen Ausbuchtungen 1a im Ohrenbereich aus einem vorzugsweise einstückigen, tiefgezogenen Titanblech. Die Helmkalotte 1 ist beim dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel einschichtig ausgebildet und weist eine Blechstärke zwischen 2 mm und 4 mm, vorzugsweise bei etwa 3 mm, auf. Bei diesen Dimensionierungen wird ein optimaler Kompromiss zwischen Beschussfestigkeit einerseits, und Gewicht andererseits, erzielt.
- Durch die einstückige, tiefgezogene Ausbildung des Titanbleches kann die Helmkalotte 1 frei von Schweißnähten ausgebildet sein.
- Obwohl sich prinzipiell auch Titanlegierungen eignen, ist bevorzugt vorgesehen, dass die Helmkalotte aus Reintitan besteht, wobei der Titananteil über 99 % liegt.
- Wie insbesondere die
Fig. 1 und4 zeigen, ist beim dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemäßen Helmes die Helmkalotte 1 beidseits, ausgehend von den seitlichen Ausbuchtungen 1a im Ohrenbereich unter Ausbildung von Wangenschutzbereichen 1b nach vorne gezogen, wobei die beiden Wangenschutzbereiche 1b einstückig mit der restlichen Helmkalotte 1 ausgebildet sind. Hiermit lässt sich eine erhöhte Beschusssicherheit von der Seite erzielen. - Gemäß, einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung weist der Helm ein schwenkbar gelagertes Visier 2 auf, das im geschlossenen Zustand seitlich den vordersten Abschnitt der Wangenschutzbereiche 1b überdeckt - wie dies insbesondere auf
Fig. 3 ersichtlich ist. Das Visier 2 ist in an sich bekannter Weise um Schwenklager 3 hochschwenkbar (sieheFig. 4 ). - Gemäß einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung, die anhand der
Fig. 5 dargestellt wird, sind die Gehörschutzkapseln 5 beweglich an der Helmkalotte 1 gelagert. Beim dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist eine durch eine Blattfeder 4 gebildete Federvorrichtung vorgesehen, die die Gehörschutzkapsel 5 trägt. Die Blattfeder 4 ist oben am Schwenklager 3 für das Visier 2 an der Innenseite der Helmkalotte 1 befestigt und trägt im Bereich 6 die Gehörschutzkapsel 5. Die Blattfeder 4 ist in Richtung Helmmitte (Pfeil 7) vorgespannt. - Um das Auf- und Absetzen des Helmes zu erleichtern, weist das Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß
Fig. 5 eine um den unteren Rand 1c der Helmkalotte herumgeführte Verstellvorrichtung 8 in Form eines flexiblen Bandes auf. Das Band 8 ist an der Stelle 9 mit der Blattfeder 4 verbunden (beispielsweise vernietet). Diese Verbindungsstelle kann über einen Schrumpfschlauch 10 abgedeckt sein, um Verletzungen durch das scharfkantige Federende zu vermeiden. Nahe dem freien Ende 8a des Bandes 8 ist eine schlaufen- oder ösenartige Haltevorrichtung 9 mit dem Band verbunden, über das das Band in die Nut 10 des Halters 11 einhängbar ist. Damit kann die Gehörschutzkapsel 5 in die inFig. 5 dargestellte Auf- und Absetzposition entgegen der Wirkung der Blattfeder 4 zur Helmkalotte 1 hinbewegt und in dieser Position gehalten werden. Wird das Band 8 vom Halter 11 ausgehängt, drückt die Blattfeder 4 in Richtung des Pfeiles 7 die Gehörschutzkapsel 5 satt an den Ohrenbereich des Helmträgers. Der Halter 11 kann gleichzeitig als Halter für eine Atemschutzmaske dienen. - Die
Fig. 6 zeigt schematisch ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel, bei dem an der Innenseite der Helmkalotte 1 zur Erhöhung des ballistischen Widerstandes zumindest eine Gewebeeinlage eines hochfesten ballistischen Gewebes angeordnet ist. Dabei kann es sich beispielsweise um Aramidgewebe (Keflar oder Twaron) und/oder PE-Gewebe und/oder UD-Material handeln. Unter UD-Material wird ein unidirektionales Material verstanden, bei dem die einzelnen Fasern nicht verwebt, sondern in einem Trägermaterial (Matrix) parallel und kreuzweise übereinander fixiert sind. - Die Gewebeeinlage, die auch mehrschichtig ausgebildet sein kann, wird in die Helmkalotte eingepresst oder drucklos verklebt. Die Verbindung zwischen den Einlagen bzw. zwischen Gewebe und Titan der der Helmkalotte erfolgt mittels Harz oder geeignetem Kleber. Die Gewebeeinlagen können zur Anpassung an die Helmkalottenform eingeschnitten werden.
- Die Erfindung ist selbstverständlich nicht auf die dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiele beschränkt. Zu erwähnen ist auch, dass die übliche Innenpolsterung aus Gründen der Übersichtlichkeit nicht dargestellt wurde.
Claims (17)
- Helm, insbesondere Schutzhelm für Einsatzkräfte, mit einer Helmkalotte, die mit einer Innenpolsterung ausgestattet ist, wobei die Helmkalotte im Ohren bereich seitliche Ausbuchtungen zur Aufnahme von Gehörschutzkapseln aufweist, wobei die Helmkalotte (1) samt den seitlichen Ausbuchtungen (1a) im Ohrenbereich aus einem vorzugsweise einstückigen, tiefgezogenen Titanblech besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Helmkalotte (1) beidseits ausgehend von den seitlichen Ausbuchtungen (1a) im Ohrenbereich unter Ausbildung von Wangenschutzbereichen (1b) nach vorne gezogen ist, wobei die beiden Wangenschutzbereiche (1b) einstückig mit der restlichen Helmkalotte (1) ausgebildet sind.
- Helm nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Helm ein schwenkbar gelagertes Visier (2) aufweist.
- Helm nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Visier (2) im geschlossenen Zustand seitlich den vordersten Abschnitt der Wangenschutzbereiche (1b) überdeckt.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Helmkalotte (1) einschichtig ausgebildet ist.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Blechstärke des Titanbleches der Helmkalotte (1) zwischen 2 mm und 4 mm, vorzugsweise bei etwa 3 mm liegt.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Helmkalotte (1) frei von Schweißnähten ausgebildet ist.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Helmkalotte (1) aus Reintitan besteht.
- Helm im nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gehörschutzkapseln (5) beweglich an der Helmkalotte (1) gelagert sind.
- Helm nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Gehörschutzkapsel über eine Federvorrichtung, vorzugsweise eine Blattfeder (4), von der Helmkalotte weg nach innen beaufschlagt ist.
- Helm nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Gehörschutzkapsel (5) von der jeweiligen Federvorrichtung, vorzugsweise Blattfeder (4), die an der Helmkalotte (1) befestigt ist, getragen ist.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass für jede Gehörschutzkapsel (5) eine vorzugsweise um den unteren Rand (1c) der Helmkalotte (1) herum nach außen geführte Verstellvorrichtung (8) vorgesehen ist, über die die Lage der jeweiligen Gehörschutzkapsel (5) relativ zur Helmkalotte (1) veränderbar ist.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 9 oder 10 und Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verstellvorrichtung gegen die Wirkung der Federvorrichtung (4) arbeitet.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 11 oder 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verstellvorrichtung von einem an der jeweiligen Gehörschutzkapsel (5) oder an der Federvorrichtung (4) befestigten Band (8) gebildet ist, das an der Außenseite des Helms, insbesondere an einem Halter (11), befestigbar ist.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Innenseite der Helmkalotte (1) zumindest bereichsweise mindestens eine Gewebeeinlage angeordnet ist.
- Helm nach Anspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gewebeeinlage ein hochfestes ballistisches Gewebe ist.
- Helm nach Anspruch 14 oder 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gewebeeinlage zumindest teilweise aus Aramidgewebe und/oder PE-Gewebe und/oder UD-Material besteht.
- Helm nach einem der Ansprüche 14 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Lagen untereinander bzw. die Gewebeeinlage mit der Helmkalotte verklebt sind.
