  • the action of pulling the ribbon 7 serves also to initiate the break lines 17 and allow the wrapper 16 to be torn off completely, without the material sticking fast to the outer faces of the pack 15. Accordingly, the pack 15 is spared any damage that might be caused in the attempt to remove portions of the overwrap material 1 that continue to cling to the outer surfaces.

Claims (10)

  1. Procédé de production d'un matériau de suremballage de paquet de cigarettes utilisable comme enveloppe externe protectrice pour des paquets de cigarettes, incluant les étapes de :
    - faire avancer une bande continue de matériau de suremballage transparent thermorétractable (1) le long d'un parcours d'alimentation prédéterminée (P) dans une direction d'alimentation prédéterminée (A);
    - traiter une zone prédéterminée (2) de la bande de matériau de suremballage (1) de manière à réaliser une succession de fentes ou incisions (4) pratiquées dans la zone prédéterminée (2) de la bande et espacées les unes des autres, chaque fente ou incision (4) ayant une composante géométrique transversale à la direction d'alimentation (A) ;
    - appliquer un ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale sur la bande (1) le long de la zone prédéterminée (2) sur une portion centrale (4a) de chaque fente (4) de sorte que deux extrémités respectives (4b) de chaque fente (4) puissent être situées sur des côtés opposés du ruban (7), où l'étape consistant à réaliser la succession de fentes (4) est effectuée avant l'étape consistant à appliquer le ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale ;
    le procédé inclut de plus l'étape consistant à réaliser une succession d'encoches en forme de « U » (10) dans la zone prédéterminée (2) de la bande (1) effectuée après l'étape consistant à appliquer le ruban (7), ladite encoche en forme de « U » (10) créant une languette de prise (11) du ruban (7) qui peut être tirée vers une fente respective (4) pour déchirer le matériau de suremballage ; ainsi que les étapes supplémentaires, effectuées après l'étape consistant à réaliser les encoches en forme de « U » (10), de :
    - diviser la bande (1) en feuilles (13) distinctes de manière à ce que chaque feuille (13) ait une encoche en forme de « U » (10) et une succession de fentes (4) réalisées dans ladite zone prédéterminée (2) de la bande et espacées les unes des autres, et
    - alimenter les feuilles (13) vers une unité de suremballage.
  2. Procédé de production d'un matériau de suremballage de paquet de cigarettes utilisable comme enveloppe externe protectrice pour des paquets de cigarettes, incluant les étapes de :
    - faire avancer une bande continue de matériau de suremballage transparent thermorétractable (1) le long d'un parcours d'alimentation prédéterminé (P) dans une direction d'alimentation prédéterminée (A);
    - traiter une zone prédéterminée (2) de la bande de matériau de suremballage (1) de manière à réaliser une succession de fentes ou incisions (4) pratiquées dans la zone prédéterminée (2) de la bande et espacées les unes des autres, chaque fente ou incision (4) ayant une composante géométrique transversale à la direction d'alimentation (A) ;
    - appliquer un ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale sur la bande (1) le long de la zone prédéterminée (2) sur une portion centrale (4a) de chaque fente (4) de sorte que deux extrémités respectives (4b) de chaque fente (4) puissent être situées sur des côtés opposés du ruban (7), où l'étape consistant à réaliser la succession de fentes (4) est effectuée avant l'étape consistant à appliquer le ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale ;
    dans lequel le procédé inclut de plus :
    - une étape consistant à réaliser une succession d'encoches en forme de « U » (10) dans la zone prédéterminée (2) de la bande (1) effectuée après l'étape consistant à appliquer le ruban (7), ladite encoche en forme de « U » (10) créant une languette de prise (11) du ruban (7) qui peut être tirée vers une fente respective (4) pour déchirer le matériau de suremballage ; dans lequel l'étape consistant à réaliser une succession d'encoches en forme de « U » (10) dans la zone prédéterminée (2) de la bande (1) est effectuée en plaçant les encoches en forme de « U » (10) dans une position telle qu'une succession de fentes (4) est incluse entre deux encoches en forme de « U » (10) successives; et
    - après que les encoches en forme de « U » (10) ont été coupées, une étape consistant à enrouler la bande de matériau de suremballage (1) sur une bobine pour une utilisation par une unité de suremballage.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel l'étape consistant à réaliser la succession de fentes (4) implique le placement de chaque fente (4) à angle droit par rapport à la dimension longitudinale du ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale.
  4. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications de 1 à 3, dans lequel l'étape consistant à réaliser la succession de fentes (4) implique le placement de chaque fente (4) selon un angle oblique par rapport à la dimension longitudinale du ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale.
  5. Paquet de cigarettes comprenant un paquet pourvu d'une enveloppe protectrice (16) consistant en une feuille de matériau de suremballage transparent thermorétractable (1) et un ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale collé sur une zone prédéterminée (2) de matériau (1),
    caractérisé
    en ce que l'enveloppe (16) présente :
    une succession de fentes (4) pratiquées dans la zone prédéterminée (2) du matériau de suremballage (1) et
    espacées les unes des autres, chaque fente (4) ayant une composante géométrique transversale à la dimension longitudinale du ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale, et
    une encoche (10) en forme de « U » réalisée dans la zone prédéterminée (2) du matériau de suremballage (1) et créant une languette (11) à une extrémité du ruban (7) de manière à ce qu'elle puisse être saisie et tirée pour déchirer l'enveloppe (16),
    où chaque fente (4) de la succession de fentes (4) a une forme en « V », présentant un sommet (9) sur lequel est placé le ruban (7) de petite dimension transversale, ou
    dans lequel chaque fente de la succession de fentes (4) apparaît substantiellement rectiligne par rapport au ruban (7) étant placé au-dessus d'une portion centrale (4a) de chaque fente de la succession de fentes (4) reposant entre deux extrémités respectives (4b) de chaque fente (4).
  6. Paquet selon la revendication 5, dans lequel chaque fente (4) de la succession de fentes (4) s'étend à angle droit par rapport à la dimension longitudinale du ruban (7).
  7. Paquet selon la revendication 5, dans lequel chaque fente (4) de la succession de fentes (4) s'étend selon un angle oblique par rapport à la dimension longitudinale du ruban (7).
  8. Paquet selon la revendication 5, dans lequel le sommet (9) de chaque fente en « V » (4) est orienté dans une direction coïncidant avec une direction de déchirement (B) du ruban (7).
  9. Paquet selon la revendication 5, dans lequel le sommet (9) de chaque fente en « V » (4) est orienté dans une direction opposée à une direction de déchirement (B) du ruban (7).
  10. Paquet de cigarettes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un paquet (15) selon l'une quelconque des revendications de 5 à 9.
