Abstract

Bâtiment en bois massif qui possède des murs extérieurs et / ou des murs intérieurs et / ou des plafonds ou sols porteurs constitués de poutres (7) d'une section transversale de 150 x 150 mm rangées longitudinalement selon un ajustement serré les unes à côté des autres. Dans le cas de murs, les poutres (7) sont disposées verticalement. La figure représente le coin d'un bâtiment vu d'en haut en section transversale. Chaque poutre (7) présente sur chacun de deux côtés longitudinaux opposés deux rainures longitudinales parallèles (3). Une latte (11) à dimensions précisément correspondantes est introduite dans ces rainures, ladite latte remplissant les rainures longitudinales opposées correspondantes de deux poutres adjacentes et servant de ressort. Le rétrécissement des poutres (7) qui, lors de la construction, présentent une teneur en humidité supérieure à celle des lattes (11) entraîne un ajustement serré des lattes (11), ce qui crée une liaison rainure / ressort étanche.
