Abstract

Ein Informationsterminal mit einem Gehäuse (1a), insbesondere einem Standgehäuse, einem Bildschirm (2), einem Rechner sowie einer Eingabeeinrichtung, vorzugsweise in Form einer Tastatur (3), ist so ausgebildet, dass ein Funktionsmöbel (4) zugeordnet ist, mit einer Kassenlade (5) und eine Eingabetastatur (6), wobei die Kassenlade (5) und die Eingabtastatur (6) miteinander in Wirkverbindung stehen.

Description

Informationsterminal
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Informationsterminal gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.
Derartige Informationsterminals dienen beispielsweise dazu, einem potentiellen Käufer einer Ware Auskunft über das interessierende Produkt zu geben, wozu entsprechende Daten zum Beispiel in dem Rechner oder im Internet abgelegt sind, die zum Beispiel mittels der Tastatur abruf- und durch den Bildschirm darstellbar sind.
Vielfach ist das Informationsterminal mit einem Drucker ausgestattet, so dass der interessierte Kunde das am Bildschirm dargestellte Produkt bzw. die Informationen dazu auch in Papierform erhalten kann. In der Praxis haben sich diese Informationsterminals durchaus bewährt. Jedoch ist ihre Funktion bislang auf den beschriebenen Umfang beschränkt.
Gerade in Stoßzeiten, also bei einem über das Normalmaß hinausgehenden Käuferandrang, sind die vorhandenen stationären Kassen eines Geschäftes sehr stark ausgelastet, so dass es zu Wartezeiten kommen kann.
Es wird daher nach einer Lösung gesucht, um dieses Problem mit geringem konstruktiven und baulichen Aufwand zu beseitigen.
Durch das Verbinden des Informationsterminals mit einem Funktionsmöbel kann das Informationsterminal auch als Kassenterminal eingesetzt werden. In dem Funk- tionsmöbel sind eine Kassenlade und eine Tastatur angeordnet, die an den Rechner des Informationsterminals anschließbar sind, so dass insgesamt ein Kassensystem entsteht. Dies bedeutet, dass mit einem sehr geringen Aufwand ein Informations- terminal als Kassensystem einsetzbar ist. Für die Verbindung der Komponeten kann beispielsweise eine USB-Schnittstelle am Rechner verwendet werden.
Bei Nichtbedarf kann das Funktionsmöbel mit dem der Kassenlade und der Tastatur wieder entfernt werden, so dass das Informationsterminal wieder ausschließlich seiner Erstbestimmung dient. Zum einfachen Transport des Funktionsmöbels ist dies zumindest einseitig mit Laufrollen versehen, die vorzugsweise feststellbar sind. Weiter ist das Funktionsmöbel, nach einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung, mit Regalböden ausgestattet, wobei die Zugriffsseite zu den Regalböden offen oder mittels einer Tür verschließbar sein kann.
Darüber hinaus kann am Funktionsterminal eine Vertiefung vorgesehen sein, in der die Kassenlade untergebracht ist, so dass der Deckel der Kassenlade flächenbündig mit der oberen Abdeckung des Funktionsmöbels abschließt.
Nach einem weiteren Gedanken der Erfindung ist das Funktionsmöbel mit einem klappbaren Schwenkboden versehen, der in der Gebrauchsstellung abgeklappt wird, so dass er sich im wesentlichen vor dem Bildschirm des Informationsterminals befindet. Auf den Schwenkboden ist die Eingabetastatur abstellbar, die mittels eines Kabels mit dem Informationsterminal verbindbar ist. Denkbar ist jedoch auch eine drahtlose Verbindung der Tastatur mit dem Informationsterminal.
Bei Nichtgebrauch des Funktionsmöbels sowie zum Transport kann der Schwenkboden auf den oberen Deckboden des Möbelkorpus zurückgeschwenkt werden, so dass das Funktionsmöbel eine kompakte, leicht zu bewegende Baueinheit bildet.
Im übrigen ist das Funktionsmöbel in seiner Formgebung dem Informationsterminal angepasst, so dass sich in Funktionsstellung ein einheitlicher Gesamteindruck ergibt.
Zur lösbaren Befestigung des Funktionsmöbels an dem Informationsterminal können Gurtbänder vorgesehen sein, die an dem Funktionsmöbel befestigt sind und das Infoπnationsterminal bzw. dessen Gehäuse umschlingen. Dabei sind Gurtspanner vorgesehen, durch die ein leichtes Festzurren der Gurtbänder möglich ist.
Anstelle von Gurtbändern können auch andere Befestigungsmittel vorgesehen sein, beispielsweise in Form von Schnappriegeln oder dergleichen, die die gleiche Funktion erfüllen. Die Gurtbänder sind insofern vorteilhaft, als sie eine nachträgliche Bestückung von vorhandenen Informationsterminals mit Funktionsmöbeln ermöglichen, ohne dass daran besondere Befestigungselemente vorgesehen sein müssen.
Zur Vermeidung von Beschädigungen bei der Montage des Funktionsmöbels am Informationsterminal sind an den das Gehäuse des Informationsterminals berührenden Kontaktflächen Pufferelemente, zum Beispiel in Form von Filzstreifen oder dergleichen angebracht.
Der bislang schon zur Dokumentation der am Informationsterminal aufgerufenen Informationen vorgesehene Drucker kann mit der Eingabetastatur bzw. dem Kassenrechner verbunden sein, so dass problemlos eine Rechnung oder ein Kassenbeleg ausdruckbar ist.
Weitere vorteilhafte Ausbildungen sind in den Unteransprüchen gekennzeichnet.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel wird nachfolgend anhand der beigefügten Zeichnungen beschrieben.
Es zeigen:
Figur 1 ein erfindungsgemäßes Informationsterminal in einer Vorderansicht;
Figur 2 eine Draufsicht auf das Informationsterminal;
Figur 3 eine Seitenansicht des Informationsterminals, und
Figur 4 eine Einzelheit des Informationsterminals in einer Vorderansicht.
In den Figuren 1 bis 3 ist ein Informationsterminal dargestellt, das insgesamt mit dem Bezugszeichen 1 versehen ist. Dieses Informationsterminal 1 weist ein Gehäuse la, im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel ein Standgehäuse, auf sowie einen Bildschirm 2, einen nicht dargestellten Rechner sowie eine Eingabeeinrichtung in Form einer Tastatur 3.
Das Informationsterminal 1 ist mit einem Funktionsmöbel 4, das eine Kassenlade 5 sowie eine Eingabetastatur 6 aufnehmen kann, lösbar verbunden. Über ein Kabel 16 sind die Kassenlade 5 und die Eingabetastatur 6 mit dem Terminal beispielsweise über einen USB-Stecker verbindbar. Der Bildschirm des Informationsterminals dient dann als Bildschirm für die Kasse. Ebenso wird der Rechner des Terminals als Kassenrechner eingesetzt.
Das Funktionsmöbel 4 weist an einer Seite vorzugsweise feststellbare Laufrollen 9 auf, während es andererseits auf einer Bodenplatte 11 aufsteht. Im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel ist das Funktionsmöbel 4 als Regalmöbel ausgebildet und beherbergt in seinem Inneren von außen frei zugängliche Regalböden 7. Oberseitig ist das Funktionsmöbel 4 durch einen Deckboden 15 abgeschlossen. Dabei weist der Deckboden 15 einen Ausschnitt auf, der in eine Aufnahme 8 übergeht, in die die Kassenlade 5 eingesetzt ist.
Wie die Figur 2 sehr deutlich zeigt, ist im Bereich der Aufnahme 8 ein Eingriff 18 vorgesehen, durch den die Kassenlade 5 bei Nichtgebrauch herausnehmbar ist.
Die Eingabetastatur 6 liegt auf einem Schwenkboden 13 auf, der über Scharniere 19 (Figur 2) am Korpus des Funktionsmöbels 4 angeschlagen ist und in Gebrauchsstellung flächenbündig mit dem Deckboden 15 verläuft. Zur Abstützung des gegenüber dem Korpus des Funktionsmöbels 4 auskragenden Schwenkbodens 13, der im übrigen die Tastatur 3 des Informationsterminals 1 überdeckt, ist eine stangen- förmige Strebe 14, vorzugsweise aus einem nicht rostenden Stahl angeschlossen, die sich am Korpus des Funktionsmöbels 4 abstützt und an dieser lösbar gehalten ist.
Zur Befestigung des Funktionsmöbels 4 am Informationsterminal 1 bzw. an dessen Gehäuse la sind an dem Korpus des Funktionsmöbels 4 zwei Gurtbänder 10 angeschlossen, die das Informationsterminal 1 umschlingen und mittels jeweils eines Gurtspanners 20, die am Funktionsmöbel 4 angeordnet sind, festgezurrt sind. Zur Durchführung der Kabel 16 ist ein Kabeldurchgang 17 vorgesehen, durch den die Kabel 16 auch in das Innere des Informationsterminals 1 fuhrbar sein können, so dass eine Verbindung mit dem darin befindlichen Rechner herstellbar ist.
In der Figur 3, die das Informationsterminal 1 in einer Seitenansicht wiedergibt, vor dem eine schematisch dargestellte Bedienperson positioniert ist, ist zu erkennen, dass das Funktionsmöbel 4 eine Griffstange 12 aufweist, mittels der das Funktionsmöbel 4 dann leicht anheb- und verschiebbar ist, wenn es von dem Informationsterminal 1 gelöst ist. Diese Griffstange 12 befindet sich auf der dem Informati- onsterminal 1 zugewandten und den Laufrollen 9 abgewandten Seite.
In der Figur 4 schließlich ist das Funktionsmöbel 4 in einer Nichtgebrauchsstellung gezeigt. In der Darstellung ist der Verschwenkweg der Schwenkplatte 13 mit der angeschlossenen Strebe 14 erkennbar, wobei letztere in eingeklappter Position auf der Schwenkplatte 13 aufliegt, während sich diese dann an dem Deckboden 15 abstützt. Die Gurtbänder 10, die abständig zueinander angeordnet sind, können aufgerollt am Korpus des Funktionsmöbels 4 befestigt sein.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Informationsterminal mit einem Gehäuse (la), insbesondere einem Standgehäuse, einem Bildschirm (2), einem Rechner sowie einer Eingabeeinrichtung, vorzugsweise in Form einer Tastatur (3), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Infonnationsterminal (1) mit einem Funktionsmöbel (4) lösbar verbindbar ist, wobei das Funktionsmöbel (4) zumindest eine Kassenlade (5) und eine Eingabetastatur (6) aufweist, die miteinander in Wirkverbindung stehen und die an das Funktionsterminal anschließbar sind.
2. Informationsterminal nach Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Funktionsmöbel (4) mittels Gurtbändern (10) am Informationstenninal (1) befestigt ist.
3. Informationsterminal nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gurtbänder (10) mittels am Funktionsmöbel (4) angeordneten Gurtspannern (20) spannbar sind.
4. Informationsterminal nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Funktionsmöbel (4) an mindestens einer Seite mit Laufrollen (9) versehen ist.
5. Infonnationsterminal nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Laufrollen (9) feststellbar sind.
6. Informationsterminal nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Funktionsmöbel (4) einen Schwenkboden (13) aufweist, der in Gebrauchsstellung über den Korpus des Funktionsmöbels (4) auskragt.
7. Infonnationsterminal nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schwenkboden (13) in Gebrauchsstellung an eine Strebe (14) angeschlossen ist, die sich andererseits am Korpus des Funktionsmöbels (4) abstützt.
8. Informationsterminal nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf dem ausgeschwenkten Schwenkboden (13) die Eingabetastatur (6) abgestellt ist.
9. Infonnationsterminal nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schwenkboden (13) in Nichtgebrauchsstellung auf einem Deckboden (15) des Funktionselementes (4) und die Strebe (14) auf dem Schwenkboden (13) aufliegen.
10. Informationstenninal nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Funktionsmöbel (4) auf seiner dem Deckboden (15) zugewandten Seite eine Aufnahme (8) aufweist zur Aufnahme der Kassenlade (5).
11. Informationstenninal nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Funktionsmöbel (4) als Regal mit Regalböden (7) ausgebildet ist.
12. Informationsterminal nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kassenlade (5) und/oder die Eingabetastatur (6) an einen Drucker des Informationsterminals (1) angeschlossen ist.
