Definitions
- the invention is based on a support element for spacing a fuel distributor line of a fuel injection valve used in a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine according to the preamble of the main claim.
- a fastening device for a fuel injection valve for attachment to a suction tube in which the axial fixation of the fuel injection valve on the fuel distributor line or on a plug-in nipple by a fastener, which is designed as a U-shaped securing clip provided with two resiliently resilient legs is.
- the securing clip engages in the assembled state by corresponding recesses of the plug-in nipple and can be latched in a recess formed as an annular groove in a connecting piece of the fuel injection valve.
- the axial clearance between the recesses and the securing clip as well as between the annular groove and the securing clip should be kept small in order to achieve an exact fixation of the fuel injection valve without tension of the seal.
- a disadvantage of the DE 29 26 490 A1 known fastening device is in particular the bracing effect of the various mounting parts on the fuel injection valve.
- the power flow generated in the fuel injection valve leads to deformations and thus to changes in the stroke of the valve needle to jamming and to a pressure ode r bending load of the housing parts, which are generally thin-walled and welded together at several points.
- each fastening measure leads, for example by a support collar to increase the radial extent of the fuel injection valve and thus to an increased space requirement during installation.
- the support element according to the invention for a fuel injection valve with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that the fuel supply line via the support element according to the invention without radial force on the fuel injector and thus eliminates tension and subsequent damage to the fuel injector and the connection of the fuel rail.
- the support member provides by appropriately designed brackets and tabs both for a carryover of the hold-down force of the fuel rail to the fuel injector as well as for tolerances and offsets compensating flexible fixation.
- a particular advantage is that the support element can be produced in a simple manner by stamping sheet metal. A production by deep drawing and punching is possible.
- Punched-in recesses advantageously provide ease of manufacture for a secure fixation of the support element on the fuel injection valve and a simple support of the fuel distribution line.
- tab shapes can be designed in an advantageous manner so that a more or less strong elastic and plastic deformation allows optimized depending on the installation situation support between the fuel rail and fuel injector.
- Fig. 1A to 1D show various schematic views of a first embodiment of an inventively designed support member 3 for fixing a fuel injection valve 1 in a cylinder head 12 of an internal combustion engine and for connecting the fuel injection valve 1 to a fuel distribution line. 2
- Fig. 1A shows in a schematic, partially cutaway perspective view of the installation situation of the support member 3 with the fuel injection valve.
- the fuel injection valve 1 is designed in the form of a direct-injection fuel injection valve 1, which is used for direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of a non-illustrated, in particular mixture-compressing, spark-ignition internal combustion engine in a valve seat of the cylinder head 12.
- the valve receptacle can also be provided on a receiving socket of a suction pipe, not shown.
- the fuel injection valve 1 has at a feed end 4 a plug connection to a receiving socket of a fuel distributor line 2, which is sealed by a seal 5 between the fuel distributor line 2 and a supply pipe 6 of the fuel injection valve 1.
- the fuel injection valve 1 has an electrical connection 7 for the electrical contacting for actuating the fuel injection valve 1.
- the support element 3 is provided according to the invention.
- the support member 3 consists of a bracket 8, which on the one hand on a shoulder 9 of the fuel injection valve 1 and on the other hand on a Shoulder 10 of the fuel distribution line 2 is supported.
- the bracket 8 is slotted in the region of the electrical connection 7 of the fuel injection valve 1 in order to facilitate assembly.
- bracket 8 With the bracket 8 are in the first embodiment, two tabs 11 and two brackets 18, as in particular Fig. 1D emerges in conjunction and provide a resilient tension of the fuel rail 2 against the fuel injector 1.
- the tabs 11 are responsible for a radial clamping action and the bracket 18 for the axial elasticity.
- the tabs 11 are based on the shoulder 9 of the fuel injection valve 1, while the bracket 18 abut the shoulder 10 of the fuel rail 2.
- the bracket 18 are due to their shape and their approach to the bracket 8 designed so that they can be plastically-elastically deformed under axial load and thereby initiate an axial force in the fuel injector 1.
- Fig. 1C shows a plan view of the first embodiment of the inventively designed support member 3 in mounted on the fuel injector 1 position.
- the support element 3 In order to prevent the support element 3 from radially migrating due to the axial introduction of force through the fuel distributor line 2 and thereby to tensioning of the fuel injection valve 1 in the cylinder head or bending of the fuel injection valve 1 and subsequent malfunctions, for example by jamming of the valve needle of the fuel injection valve 1, the support element 3 not round, but executed in a roughly rectangular or square cross-sectional shape, wherein
- edges 16, which form the conclusion of the clip 8 on both sides of a slit 15 are folded in the direction of the fuel injection valve 1 radially inward. This ensures that the edges 16 bear against the fuel injector 1 over its entire axial length and thereby prevent slippage of the support element 3.
- a second embodiment of an inventively designed support member 3 is shown.
- This has variously shaped tabs 11, which are connected to the bracket 8.
- two opposing tabs 11b are tongue-shaped, while a third tab 11a has an approximately onion-like shape.
- An inverse distribution in the form of two onion-shaped tabs 11a and a tongue-shaped tab 11b is also possible.
- a recess 17 in the tab 11a provides for a higher elasticity of the tab 11a and thus for a greater tolerance to tension.
- the edges 16 can as in Fig. 1A-D be designed.
- a third embodiment of an inventively designed support member 3 is shown.
- This has in this case tabs 11, which represent a combined form of the tongue-shaped tabs 11b and the onion-shaped tab 11a of the second embodiment described above.
- the illustrated shape is easier to manufacture, but has a high elasticity and flexibility to compensate for radial and axial forces.
- the edges 16 can also be as in Fig. 1A-D be designed.
- the invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments and, for example, for fuel injection valves 1 for injection into the combustion chamber of a self-igniting internal combustion engine applicable.
- the support elements 3 shown in the figures can also be mounted in the reverse installed position, so that the bracket 18 are supported on the shoulder 9 of the fuel injection valve 1 instead of the shoulder 10 of the fuel distribution line 2. All features of the invention can be combined with one another as desired.

Description
- Dokument
- Fig. 1A-D
- verschiedene schematische Ansichten eines ersten Ausführungsbeispiels eines erfindungsgemäß ausgestalteten Stützelements für ein Brennstoffeinspritzventil;
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 3
- In
- In
